so i have access to a library filled with comics and this is one i found. i'm not a deadhead, but i do have appreciation for the interpretations in this book. the narrations are lyrics to various songs. some of my favorites were drawn by tim truman, who did four pieces here (i don't recall anything else i may have seen him do). friend of the devil was real fun to look at. i had trouble with the terrapin station interpretation. at any rate, there are different styles, which is why i like anthology works. if yer into the dead or if you are into comics, this would probably work for you.

I believe this is an anthology of the fine comics originally published in magazine and book form by Kitchen Sink Press.
