I want to give the book 5 stars but at times I lost who was who and in what place/era they were. However the story was captivating and the Haven as a place where an ideal or a horror is developing is well depicted. The mind wipes and totalitarian benevolent (or not) rulers are truly chillingly described. The portrayal of a cure that really wipes out humanity is mind blowing.

I am lucky to have the second book which I shall read right away as I need to find out what happens to some of the main characters and are they really good or evil.

This is my first time reading anything from this author, I was attracted to the book after reading the blurb which spiked my interest. The book itself lived up to my expectations and is a brilliant suspense filled read. I loved that the plot has some very unexpected twists and turns so that I was constantly thinking and trying to figure out where we were going only to be led off in a different direction. A really great read.

This is one of those books where the back story, the history that leads up to the current time of the book, is presented in piecemeal fashion. Sometimes that works. Sometimes that leads to confusion (at least for me it does). That was the case with this book. After reading it, I'm still not 100% sure I know or understand what caused the "apocalypse". (Maybe that's the point, i.e. to get me to read the next book ... lol). Anyway, to the book's credit, I read it to the end. And I plan on reading the next book. So, despite the confusion, the book is a good read.

Having just finished INCH, I can honestly say that it surpassed my expectations and I did like the twist.

(Side note, I was obviously expecting some sort of twist, given the subtitle, which was an interesting choice)

I found the first act to be a little cliché and on the blander side, but the second and third acts really picked up and I thoroughly enjoyed the ending.

I recommend it to anyone who enjoys thrillers, even if you're not normally a fan of dystopian settings.

This was absolutely STUNNING and magnificent. When the reality of the theme hit me, I screamed! This was amazing and I absolutely cannot explain how astonished I was with the style and plot - I love a dystopian novel and this one is pretty high up on taking the cake!

Too close

This is a new take on the dystopian thriller. You can't predict how it is going to finish. I wish there was more in this first book

I wasn’t that impressed with this book. It was pretty much the usual dystopian novel and I don’t know that I’d call the ending a massive ‘twist’
