What happens when work and pleasure can't keep their hands off each other?
After hooking up with her boss, Monroe, on a business trip, Chloe finds herself in need of a fresh start at a new company if she wants to keep things in her new relationship heating up. But after a disastrous first day, can Monroe give Chloe what she needs? Find out in this sexy age-gap romantic short.
Lucy Bexley grew up in Michigan. Her favorite lake is Erie and her favorite Dunes are Sleeping Bear. She started reading romance novels in 2019 and hasn’t been able to put them down since. She fell in love with stories featuring queer women getting their happily ever afters. Lucy lives in Boston with her partner, dog, two cats, and eleven bookcases. She’s a fan of terrible jokes, seltzer, MarioKart, and silence.
It was so nice to read about Monroe and Chloe again. Glad that things are going in the right direction for them. They're still got together. I'm hoping for more about them in the future.
The banter and the chemistry between the characters is really good! Really nice novelette, just like I said in my review of her first book “I can’t wait for an actual complete Bexley book” her writing reminds me a little to Emily Hayes. The story is short but it doesn’t feel rushed a less then an hour book, just perfect but honestly you stayed wanting more! 👏🏻
This is a continuation of “Flying First” and have to say I was still left wanting more. Chloe’s first day at her new job working for Monroe’s friend Jen. The writing is good, the steamy scenes in “First Day” and “Flying First” were well written. Looking forward to reading more of this author’s books.
A short story with a lot of passion, intense moments and plenty of feelings. I really enjoyed this book as it follows a new relationship between two characters with age gap.
This short was very hot and had me wanting more. That pasta was never going to get eaten but it’s the thought that matters. Following on from Flying First I can’t wait for the sequel and where will it take place. Swoon!
Short and sweet but oh so delicious..how to turn a first day 9f a new job from the disaster it was to the reward that is waiting at home regardless of the result. Take out is the new cooking and definitely worth waiting for xx
Okay, after two shorts, I'd definitely enjoy reading a full length book of these two. They mesh well and their sarcasm and jokes are really good together.
