Sixth issue of this thick magazine of creepy science fiction adventure, featuring fantastic stories of strange encounters with insidious insects. Unforgettable tales by Ramsey Campbell, Kurt Newton, Philip K. Dick, Gregory L. Norris, James Dorr, Robert Sheckley, Murray Leinster, Jason McCuiston, Tom English and many others. Special features an illustrated tribute to the legendary 1964 television series The Outer Limits by author and screenwriter Gary Gerani; a brief history of insects in SF; retro movie reviews; weird science fact; a complete comics story and much more.
As a contributor, I can't give this issue a rating. However, I will say that Tom English has outdone himself with the sixth installment of Black Infinity. This issue is chock-full of works by some of the most prolific and illustrious names in speculative fiction as well as a handpicked selection of modern offerings, including my own pulp-style SF thriller, "Elysium 4," Gregory L. Norris's masterful "Skinsects," and English's own unnerving "A Handful of Dust."
Insidious Insects is a must-read for the true student and/or fan of science fiction and pop culture.
