Jaime Sanders is Not just a divorced woman with three children, she is also a witch. Her ex-husband seems out to get her.and that is just one of her concerns. There is evil attacking her coven and after her Aunt is killed, she becomes the leader leaving her not just responsible for protecting her children but her whole cove.
This is a paranormal thriller and is part of the Natural Witches series. The unique, somewhat quirky characters are well crafted with complex personalities, complete with their own strengths and weaknesses. This makes them more realistic and relatable. The narrative was great, allowing the reader to visualize the setting, the various ghosts, and the action scenes. The storyline flowed along quickly and smoothly and was filled with mystery, danger and suspense. I liked the fact that the characters had real life problems in addition to their paranormal ones. I read this book in one sitting as I found it so engaging, it was hard to put down. I look forward to reading more about these characters in the future.

Jaime wants nothing more than a peaceful life with her three kids and big family, keeping away from all trouble and the concerning, recently aggressive behavior of her ex-husband. But as a witch with psychic abilities, there is nothing like human normalcy for her. After her aunt Iris suddenly passes away under suspicious circumstances, danger enters Jamie's life, and all of a sudden, she is the next target.
A witchy story perfect for this season (October :)), with a fairly good mystery (although with the limited number of characters it was not difficult to guess the mastermind behind - yet there were still surprises related to the revelation). I like the characters, enjoyed that I have a mature adult and a parent for a main character for a change, as I read a lot of YA lately, and Jamie was a great heroine. Gentle, caring, and protective, full of love for her children and her family, and restless when facing the potential crime. I also very much appreciated the roles of the kids in the story, that they weren't just an additional element to create the picture of Jamie's life, but were also vital for the story. Looking forward to the next book.

Jaime Sanders is a member of a family of witches trying to live a normal life as a single mom. She's just taking it one day at a time, making sure her kids have everything they need while running her small business and dealing with her very unsavory ex-husband who she shares custody of the kids with. Oh, and she talks to ghosts. Her aunt goes missing and she works with her sisters and the law enforcement to find her. This unravels a series of events that expose even more of the evils that her ex-husband has been hiding from her. As much as she's trying to avoid using magic, life has other plans as she must use it to defend her family and legacy. This wasn't a bad start to a new series. I had a hard time connecting the type of woman Jaime was portrayed to be as one who would marry a man such as her ex-husband. I felt like she was made of tougher stuff. Should be interesting to see where the author takes things with Jaime and her family.

Ghostly Curse is Book i in the Natural Witches series by Sela Croft. This is a well written, nicely paced, page turning story with well developed characters and a story line with twists/turns to keep the reader engaged. Jamie Sanders (FMC) is a natural witch who becomes coven leader when her aunt is murdered. She is a single mother with three children - twin boys and a daughter. Even though she wants to maintain a normal life, she is forced to use her magical ability to keep her loved ones and herself safe. This is a great start to this series, a must read, and one I highly recommend. Looking forward to Book 2, which I have, to see what Sela has in store for Jamie and family. Received an ARC from Booksprout and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Finding The Truth About Aunty Death.
What I liked about this book is the way the author pulled you into the story plot so you became one of the family and trying to find out who killed the head of our coven and why. I would recommend this light paranormal mystery to any one who likes reading about witches . This has no restriction of age as it could be read from young adult to adults,there is nothing bad in here that would cause a problem to read. If I had more then 5 gold stars I would give it a least 100 gold stars it was that good to read.. This is how good it was to read I finished it in one night.

We are off to a strong start with Ghostly Curse, filled with danger and suspense to keep the reader intrigued and pulled deep into the story line. Jaime Sanders is a likable character who would like nothing more than a “normal” life for her family – but she instead finds her strength in protecting others against the centuries-old evil trying to steal their powers.
The book is very well-written and promises a strong start as we prepare to move on to Book 2 soon to follow. Grab your copy and see how far Jaime is pushed to fight for her coven and her children.

This is a well written book with strong characters and an interesting story line. The author does a great job developing the story and pulls you in with all the danger and magic throughout. It's brought to life with her vividly painted scenes and is a true page turner that kept me glued fast right to the end. Well done !!

This is not a cozy mystery but I loved it. Jaime and her sisters are witches with different abilities. When their aunt (and the head of their coven) goes missing, they use their witch senses to locate her. They discover that she's been killed thus making Jaime the coven head. And, they realize that Jaime is the next target of the killer. Can they stop the murderer before it's too late? Read this wonderfully entertaining book....I'm off to read Book 2 in this series.

I was enthralled with this book from the beginning, but the ending made me so mad, it knocked my review from a 5 star review to a 3 star review. We've all been there, reading a book we love only to get to the end and the ending makes you so mad, you want to throw your book, or reader, at a wall. If only we could know at the beginning that the ending is going to suck. Left me hanging wondering what the hell happened. Wouldn't recommend this one unfortunately. Darn shame too because the whole book was VERY good... except the end. Bummer.

I really enjoyed reading this book, it is well written with a decent plot and characters, I found myself linking Jamie, when an author can make you feel things for their characters then you know you have a good book, I look forward to reading more from this Cadie Snow

This is the 1st book I've read written by Cadie Snow; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I enjoyed this book so much. Full of magic, mystery and sorcerers . Trying to ignore her witches powers just didn’t work for Jamie. With an unruly ex husband and threats against her family she is forced to embrace her heritage.
This makes for an exciting magical adventure that was a joy to read. Most wholeheartedly recommended.

I was hooked from the beginning!

Repetitious & Predictable
Another series novel that had very little suspense or mystery. The first book was not a satisfying read, so repetitious and predictable. I will not be reading the remaining books in the series.

Not bad
Parts of the story were more complicated than they needed to be and the ending was a bit too abrupt. A little more interaction between Jaime and Ian at the end would have helped.

This book will have you guessing as to who wants her and her coven dead, the answers. If you like paranormal stories then this book is for you. I really need another one in the series.will surprise you as it did me
