Hey there! Before I tell you all about myself, can I invite you to join my private Rachel's Readers Facebook group? That's where my readers hang out, discuss my books, participate in giveaways and learn about new releases.
So who am I? My name is Rachel Hanna, and I am a wife, mother of three incredible kids (maybe I am a BIT biased?), two lovable doggies and one cat that lives outside and thinks he owns the world. Okay, I also have a gecko now too. Don't judge me.
I started writing as a young child, and I went into the field of Journalism for many years as an adult. Now, as a romantic fiction writer, I get to live out my own daydreams every single day and share them with readers around the world!
I'm a Southern chick living near Atlanta, so I say "yes, ma'm" and "ya'll", but I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
This was such a heartwarming read. I really enjoyed it. For some reason it was very emotional. I loved the happy ending. Hanna always gives us a story with so much heart. I feel all the feels.
It was a fun read and although I’ve read a lot of Rachel Hanna’s books, this one was special. The story was different and I wasn’t one step ahead all the time. Very sweet and touching.
The series, January Cove, has an uncomplicated plots. All the books are quick reads, that have predictable outcomes. If you’re looking for something light and happy, this is a series for you.
For me this was a very emotional and touching read just as it was for the character Faith. To lose everything from a parent to your home and everything in between is a lot to take at one time, but then to learn your father is not your father, and he tells you to go find your real mother is just mind-blowing. Only having one place to turn once your father turns his back on you, Faith goes back to where it all started looking for a mother she never knew. What she finds is a small town that is willing to give shelter to a woman in need and a family that isn’t blood who stands behind her taking up where her father left off. All the way she finds a man, she is afraid to put her trust in, a man who can’t get her out of his mind (anymore) than she can get him out of hers.
Faith is a wonderful character growing up with wealth didn’t make her snotty or think she is better. What you find is a caring woman who gives all she has. It is a story of power of the mind and body, overcoming your past and starting over. Brandon is such a caring person, he gives and gives and does get burned a time or two. His story is very interesting even after all he has had to deal with he never gives up and is looking for a life where he can have a family. This is a story of emotions, giving, finding a place to call home with people who never let you down. But first you must overcome your own issues.
Some of the plot you will work out for yourself other things come as a surprise but a good one. I haven’t read the other books in this series but I can tell you this if it is anything like this one they are well worth your time. This is a series but it can be read as a standalone even though you will see people from the past books you never feel like you have missed something or that you are lost. The author gives a wonderful read that pulls you in with sorrow, sadness, needs and wants but what you end up with is love, romance, giving, finding and a place to call home. There are tear, a little girl who wants a family but there are way more smiles and laughs with a big dog who has a heart of gold. I loved the humor that brought me a few hours of enjoyment. I totally loved this story and can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
I give Faith, Hope & Love by Rachel Hanna Five Stars. This is book 9 of the January Cove series and can be read as a standalone but like all series I always recommend reading the whole series in order because there are always supporting Characters you are going to meet from the other books in the series. If you don't mind not knowing the stories of all the other characters then this is a must read! This was very well written, a quick read and you will not only find yourself falling in love with the characters you will also find yourself laughing out loud.
Faith McLemore has recently lost everything and has found herself living totally different they she lived as a socialite child. She recently opened a box that held a secret that shattered her world and lead her to January Cove to see if she can find some answers and put her world back together. When she arrives in January Cove she is knocked off her feet immediately and comes face to face with Brandon James.
Brandon James is drawn to Faith and decides she needs a friend. Faith is trying to keep to herself and protect her secret and her heart but Brandon is having nothing to do with that. Brandon will make her laugh and draw her out of her shell. Will he help Faith heal or will he cause her more pain? You have to read the book to find out!

Family didn't have to be blood. Sometimes you get to choose your family, and sometimes they choose you. And in that moment, she knew it had all been worth it. Family always was.
Faith's father was sent to jail for fraud & everything she had & knew was ripped away from her. Broke & homeless, Faith was clinging to her father & in return for her devotion, he tore the floor out from under her. It turns out she was adopted & didn't know it. Following the only clue she's been given, she moves to January Cove to see if she can locate her birth parents.
The minute she steps foot in January Cove, she's bowled over by an affectionate, slobbery big dog. From the minute Brandon goes to help her up, they squabble like a married couple. As they spend time together, they grow closer. Faith begins to get to know people & finds a job in town. Will she find her birth parents? Will a relationship develop between her & Brandon?
Faith, Hope & Love is a story about a young woman trying to find her path in life. After loosing everything, she finds out what's truly important. I really enjoyed this story & the characters. They were realistic & easy to identify with. The plot has a few twists & turns to make it interesting. Even though this is part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone. January Cove is the place all of the books are set & there are some characters that show up consistently. This was another great addition to the January Cove series.
Rachel Hanna’s Faith, Love, and Hope delivers a heartwarming story filled with themes of family, resilience, and love, hallmarks of her writing. The characters are relatable, and their emotional journeys are easy to connect with. True to Hanna’s style, the book offers a comforting, feel-good atmosphere that makes it a pleasant read.
However, the story falls short in a few areas. The plot feels predictable at times, leaning heavily on familiar tropes, which may disappoint readers seeking something fresh or surprising. Additionally, the straightforward writing style, while accessible, lacks the depth and nuance that could elevate the emotional stakes. There are moments where certain themes or details feel unnecessarily repetitive, slowing the narrative’s pace.
Overall, Faith, Love, and Hope is a decent read for fans of Rachel Hanna’s feel-good novels but may not stand out as one of her strongest works. It’s a sweet story, but it doesn’t break new ground.
ARC for honest review with no compensation. 4.5 stars
Faith, Hope & Love is book 9 in the January Cove series and is another awesome addition.
Faith McLeore is trying to find her way after she discovers her whole life was a lie so she decides to go to January Cove and find her biological mother (the letter her father left her) and to start building a new life only she may get more than she ever thought possible..a true friend, Brandon James. Will she let Brandon be more than a friend and will she find her biological mother and know the truth of her birth or will she just hit a dead end??
Turmoil, sadness, squabbling between Brandon and Faith, finding what you are meant to do and finding love to last a lifetime!!
Faith, Hope and Love is the 9th book in the January Cove Series but it can be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed this book it had me hooked from the first page. The book was very well written, you could identify with the characters and fall in love with the small town feeling. Faith, Hope and Love was a very quick and enjoyable read. This book had twists and turns and kept you very interested, made me laugh and cry. I highly recommend this book. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.
This is definitely not my favorite in the series, but I can always rely on Rachel Hanna to deliver something sweet.
The meet cute in this book starts out similarly to Sweet Love, and for a moment I thought I had already read this book. I enjoyed Faith's character development, as I didn't really like her in the beginning. I wanted to know more about Brandon. Their relationship was a bit too surface level for me, but I don't expect a lot of details when reading a novella.
I was so excited to read the January Cove addition and you wrote another 5 star story to continue the journey. Faith has lost everything but she follows the clue left for her to see if she can find the new start to her life and the past that could answers all of her questions. Brandon gives so much to everyone else it's time for him to receive the best gift of all. You won't be able to stop reading until the very last page. Cant wait for the next book.
This was a really fun, quick, sexy read. Faith is having a run of bad luck (to say the least) and comes to January Cove to hopefully find herself. Her first run-in with a local literally knocks her off her feet and sets the tone for her new start. Brandon comes to the rescue and the relationship that begins to develop between them is fun from there. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and enjoyed every single moment.
Faith loses her home, friends, and identity when her father is arrested for embezzlement and he tells her she was adopted. She goes to January Cove to find her birth mother. Along the way she falls for ER doctor Brandon and young Amelia in the HOPE child hunger assistance program and she discovers what she was meant to with her life and finds happiness. Sweet romance with plenty of humor and dramatic moments.
Faith McLemore has lost it all, her home, boyfriend and family. She is trying to recover from her father's betrayal when another secret rocks her world. She leaves for January Cove in search of answers. On arrival, she meets Dr Brandon James. Brandon and Faith clash at first but get closer. Faith's secrets threaten to tear them apart and they have to figure out whether staying together is worth it.
...it’s a town I’d really visit if I could, but the next best thing is traveling there in a book. Brandon and Faith’s story is as warm and wonderful as have been the ones that preceded it; the only thing I’d change is to make it longer! Barring that, I’ll just have to hope visit #10 will come along soon!
Rachel Hanna has done it again!! This store was easy to read and kept me interested. I want to live in January Cove, it is so family oriented and friendly, helpful and welcoming. everyone should read all January Cove series. then read all of Rachel Hanna books. any age can read this feel good book.
Faith, Hope & Love is number 9 in the January Cove series and I think this one is my favorite. It is the story of Brandon and Faith. Faith learns as an adult that she is adopted. She comes to January Cove searching for her birth mother. She meets Dr Brandon James and the story begins.
Faith came to January Cove not knowing what to expect. She had no idea who she was Brandon turned to be the perfect man for her. But she was very weary of getting involved with him The work she was doing for the children was incredible. But finding out that her boss is her birthmother put the cherry on the sundae.
Another deep-rooted yet feel-good love story. I can't even explain it. Faith, while life falls apart after her dad is imprisoned and finds out she is adopted. Leaves to live in the place where her birth mother is known to live at the time of adoption. Meets wonderful people including a literal bump into a man. The man of her dreams adopts and shares how much he loves her. I just loved it!
Do yourself a favor and read this heart warming story. Truly did not want it to end. I only discovered Rachel Hanna recently; however, I have already read 21, yes 21 of her books. This 1 in particular was a favorite. For me, it was not only incredibly enjoyable but spiritually awakening.
So many great characters! Brandon and Faith are an awesome couple there are not many men like Brandon. Olivia us such a sweet lady live her! Amelia is adorable and Faith is pretty hard headed lol looking forward to reading more from Rachel Hanna and January Cove
This story had me hooked right from the beginning! Wonderful writing and you can feel the angst of what Faith has gone through. Truly a remarkable story. This is the 9th book in the series but can be read as a stand alone.
A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. A tragic and a twist that Faith deals with and learns to move on and recover. A surprise that has Brandon learning life lessons. This is a standalone read but the series is a good one to read.
What would you do if you lost your family, your home, your life as you were raised to be? All you have is a town where you go to find your birth mother and you find yourself. Great quick read.
I have really dug into this series of books. Great characters that you can really root for. Some of the stories are a little too tied up in a bow but I still like reading how it gets to the end.
Great story, once again. Reader friendly characters with issues to overcome to find their Happy Ending. Almost done with my time visiting the folks in January Cove. Will definitely move on to another Rachel Hanna location!
An excellent book. I have come to really enjoy Rachel Hanna books. This book is about how life sends you curve balls and also puts you in the places you are meant to be in at the right times. Read this book to find out more about what I mean.
Welcome back to January Cove. Faith heads to January looking for her birth Mother, after her Father is arrested and tells her she is adopted. I can't wait to read the next January Cove book!
