When Lexie Harrington is asked to choreograph Phoebe and Sam’s Christmas-themed wedding, she can’t wait to create the perfect winter wonderland - elegantly dressed fir trees, glossy garlands of holly and mistletoe, baskets of yule logs and pine cones, and the mouth-watering fragrance of gingerbread, cinnamon sticks and warm mulled wine floating through the air.
With handsome wedding columnist-cum-fledgling scriptwriter Theo Barker at her side, she’s confident that she can create the perfect festive ambience the bride and groom have been dreaming of since their engagement in the Swiss Alps; no rampant hosepipes, no mechanical mice, no confetti-filled hairdryers.
But this is The Cornish Confetti Agency, and the words ‘plain-sailing’ and ‘hassle-free’ do not feature in the promotional brochure. So, when a much-loved portrait of the groom’s father is adorned with pirate eye-patches and black plastic moustaches, and his expensive cologne is switched for toilet cleaner, Lexie and Theo must once again don their metaphorical deerstalkers and unravel the mystery before the wedding dissolves into Christmas-themed chaos and calamity.
A perfect Christmas wedding? Is there such a thing for The Cornish Confetti Agency?
A glittery, feel-good story perfect for the festive season, and the third book in The Cornish Confetti Agency series.
Daisy James loves writing stories with strong heroines and swift-flowing plot-lines. She especially likes to create sunshine-filled settings in exotic locations - the Caribbean, Tuscany, Cornwall, Provence - so she can spend her time envisioning her characters enjoying the fabulous scenery and sampling the local food and drink.
When not scribbling away in her peppermint-and-green summerhouse (garden shed), she spends her time sifting flour and sprinkling sugar and edible glitter. She loves gossiping with friends over a glass of something fizzy or indulging in a spot of afternoon tea - china plates and teacups are a must.
Another delightful cozy holiday read by a lovely and entertaining author. This is book 3 of the 5 (so far) Cornish Confetti Agency series, but of course it ca be read as a stand alone. I promise you though, if you pick this one up, you will certainly want to binge on the entire set.
Lexie has been filling in at The Cornish Confetti Agency while the owner is overseas, planning and coordinating the perfect weddings for new brides. Although her time at the Agency is almost through she has one last event to organize, a catwalk show for her friend’s wedding shop. But if you know Lexie, you know that things don’t always work out as planned and it seems once again someone is trying to sabotage all of her hard work. (Why does something always have to go wrong?) When Lexie and her boyfriend Theo do some sleuthing to try and find out who is behind all the mischief, it seems everyone involved could be suspect!
An adorable holiday read that has Christmas galore, a beautiful wedding with all the trimmings, and a mystery to be solved by none other than our amateur sleuth Lexie (again). This book has everything you are looking for in a jolly seasonal read allowing you to immerse yourself in ‘melt your heart’ romance, Christmas galore with all the activities, decorations and trimmings, and an unexpected plot twist that keeps you flipping the pages to figure out who is behind all the mischief and mayhem. Daisy James honestly is the master of the cozy romcom mystery, and has captured the essence of the holiday season in this newest installation of The Cornish Confetti Agency. This is truly another enjoyable comfort read that will delight readers of all types.
Get ready to pull out your Christmas decorations now because this one will have you ready to start the merriment ASAP. I certainly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it and the entire series.
This is a well paced, totally engaging read with great characters, lots of laughs, plenty of surprising twists and even some possible hints at a sequel to tie this series in with another one by the same author. It has a mystery with a saboteur to be identified, a wedding to organise, fun party activities, engagements, family drama, romance, snow induced chaos and even a fashion show! It is a story filled with creativity, from the festive activities at the hen and stag parties to Jasper's beautiful waistcoats, tasty treats to stupendous wedding gowns, this story has them all so superbly described they are brought to life in the imagination of the reader. It also deals with coping with grief and loss in a sensitive manner.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story with so many different romances developing and lifelong dreams coming true. It is a story to put a huge smile on your face and definitely left me feeling good. Now I can't wait to read more involving the Cornish Confetti Agency, Lexi, Theo, Jasper and Freya in future and wonder just what they'll get up to next - and where!
I was so happy when I realised this book was available - I couldn't wait to read it and it was even better than I'd hoped - and my expectations were high! This is a fabulous, festive addition to this brilliant series, a great read to escape into whenever you want an opportunity to visit Cornwall at Christmas. Having said that, I suspect it would be just as enjoyable if you read it as a standalone but the whole series is terrific and I highly recommend reading them all.
Thank you for my copy of this book which I have voluntarily read and honestly reviewed.
I couldn't have enjoyed this book more if I tried...
... it's the latest book in a series that I'm loving .... it's a Christmas book ... it has weddings ... it has the assorted chaos that surrounds Lexie ... some absolutely fabulous hen / stag party activities - I loved the details of the various designs on the Christmas tree decorating, gingerbread competition and also snow globe creations ... there is love in the air, and more new pairings than you may initally think ... it was just a book that has made me smile a lot while reading it.
I suspect it could be read as a standalone but I have been enjoying the series so much that to me it was like returning home to some friends. I couldn't wait to catch up with all my favourite characters.
Jasper's waistcoats seem to get more and more inventive. Zak's methods for taking photos were amusing, bordering on the bizarre! I liked the whole of the main wedding party, but that was just one of the two main events Lexie was organising this time around.
It's just a book full of creativity, and a clear love of weddings, wedding fashion, and Christmas! It just worked for me and was a pure pleasure to read.
This would be the most absolutely perfect end to the series, I love how all the series wide story arcs so far have reached really good if not conclusions then settling points, and it has had me smiling throughout. However the only reason I can't say its the perfect end to the series, but rather a great way of tieing up loose ends from the first three books - is because I can already see there is a fourth book due out in the series and I'm already far too excited to read that too!
Thank you to the author for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.
I loved escaping to beautiful Cornwall for this entertaining and heartwarming book! This story sparkles and shines! Lexie is an event planner, putting together both a wintry wedding and a bridal fashion show at Christmastime, and she is frazzled—especially when a series of mishaps threaten to spoil it all. But throughout it all there is hilarity and a true spirit of the holiday with friends coming together to help anyway they can! This delightful novel has romance, delightful characters, a lovely setting, laughter and love!
As much as I like to read books in order, I jumped into the Cornish Confetti Agency series at book two in Summertime at the Cornish Confetti Agency. I don't usually like starting mid-series but Daisy James writes so brilliantly that all of her books can be read as a standalone, so don't be put off if you haven't read the earlier books as I still haven't read the first one.
Lexie is temporarily at the helm of the Cornish Confetti Agency whilst its owner is working in America. Lexie may not own the business but she lives and breathes it, constantly striving to plan the perfect wedding for the brides who request her services. Striving for perfection means that there's always something that goes wrong, although Lexie does seem to have more than her fair share of mishaps that result in her and her lovely boyfriend Theo doing some amateur sleuthing.
There are some wonderful character stories to read about from among the wedding guests and Lexie's friends. I particularly enjoyed reading about Lexie's friend Freya and her wedding dress show that has been a life long dream for the two friends. Lexie really makes it hard for herself by arranging a fashion show at the same time as organising a Christmas wedding, but it shows off her amazing organisational skills and quick thinking. It's certainly double trouble and opportunity for more things to go wrong, which they inevitably do.
Christmas at the Cornish Confetti Agency is so festive that I felt I should have been having an eggnog and a sweet mince pie whilst reading it. Daisy James’ writing is a feast for the senses; portraying all of the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of Cornwall. I often found my mouth watering as various baked goodies were mentioned, especially the gingerbread that sounded so yummy. I think I put on a pound in weight just reading about it!
I absolutely adore Daisy James' writing and there's always something in her books that stands out and stays with me. As much as I loved the sleep fairies in the previous book, I loved the reference to Morpheus, the Greek god of dreams and son of the god of sleep, Hypnos. Travelling down Morpheus' highway is such a beautiful phrase for falling asleep and perfectly encapsulates the immense talent of Daisy James.
Fabulously festive, charming and entertaining, Christmas at the Cornish Confetti Agency is tremendously heart-warming. It's the perfect book to read as the cold, dark nights are drawing in to add a bit of sparkle to your day. It's wonderfully uplifting and guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
I received a gifted ebook for the blog tour and this is my honest and unbiased opinion.
Christmas at the Cornish Confetti Agency is the third book in the Cornish Confetti Agency series by Daisy James, and although knowledge of the main characters from reading the previous two books would help, you could actually read this as a festive standalone.
As with the other books in the series, Daisy has created a rom-com combined with a cosy mystery, with plenty of festive spirit, which I found completely captivating. I loved this story, and loved seeing what I now consider to be old friends, together with some new characters. As well as an entertaining story, this book really ticked a lot of my Christmas boxes and if you love a laugh out loud rom-com, with added Christmas cheer, you will definitely love this story.
I loved that not only was this a story about another wedding planned by Lexie at the Cornish Confetti Agency, there was a second storyline following Lexie as she organises a fashion show for her best friend Freya’s bridal gown business. I really enjoyed the setting for the fashion show, and the descriptions were so vivid that I could picture myself sitting in the audience at the side of the catwalk.
I found it really entertaining that in the days leading up to the wedding, Lexie organises some craft-inspired activities for the wedding party to join in with, and these activities really give a depth to the characters that are involved with the wedding, as well as providing a number of suspects for Lexie and Theo to consider in order to resolve the mysteries affecting the smooth running of the wedding events.
The books in this series are a sheer joy, and if you love weddings, romance and a little bit of mystery to keep you guessing, I am sure you would love them as much as I do. This book was a Christmas wedding delight, that will leave you feeling very festive, and possibly craving a hot chocolate with spiced rum and marshmallows.
OMG what a superb festive read, I've laughed and cried as I've lost myself between these magical pages.
Daisy James is always an author I look forward to reading and this book did not disappoint. It was lovely to go back to Cornwall and get reacquainted with old favourites and meet a few new faces as Lexie plans her final Cornish wedding.
A jam packed story as the countdown is on to the final wedding which has a host of events in the lead up with a few mysteries along the way.
I loved reading this story and will miss the wonderful characters that made me laugh and cry throughout. A festive masterpiece packed with activities to really get in the spirit of Christmas.
Do you know, it was one of those days yesterday – we all have them sometimes, don’t we? I just wanted to pull the blankets back over my head, forget everything that was going on in the world, and to escape into a world where everything was a little bit sparklier, somewhere life was fun, some romance maybe that would make me feel all warm and fuzzy – just to read something that would really put a smile on my face. If you ever feel that way, this is the perfect book for you. I read it in one glorious afternoon sitting, and when I was done everything in the world just felt a little brighter.
If you read either of the first two books in the series you’ll already know a few of the key characters – but if you didn’t, it won’t matter for a moment. The book pitches you straight in to the lead-up to Phoebe and Sam’s Christmas wedding. Lexie is a wedding planner in a lovely part of Cornwall, but it’s nearly time for her to move on and hand the reins back to the business’ owner – other than the catwalk show she’s planning for her best friend’s wedding dress shop, this will be the last event she organises, and she wants it to be perfect. Theres a whole series of Christmas-themed activities – decorating the Christmas trees on the drive to a theme appropriate to the happy couple, an archery competition (where one of the targets is a snowman), making things out of gingerbread, putting together a snow globe – all leading up to the big day. The large cast of wedding guests tackle everything with enthusiasm and a nice competitive edge – and a considerable amount of originality.
But Lexie’s events never go entirely smoothly, and it seems someone is trying to sabotage things – and Lexie and boyfriend Theo need to find out who’s behind it all, just to be sure that the little things going wrong don’t become anything more serious. The prime candidate has to be Phoebe’s young brother Zac, bouncy and just a tad exhausting as he photographs all the activities from every possible angle. But then might it be Tara, the perfectly turned out bridesmaid – she certainly seems to be hiding something? Or then again, might it be… everyone’s a suspect, several have secrets, and Lexie and Theo really have their work cut out to stop the big day becoming a potential disaster. There’s nothing too heavy – and everything’s finally resolved without any real damage to the wonderful Christmassiness that surrounds it all.
And then comes the catwalk show – with Lexie’s track record that really might be a disaster, and this event is so very important that it really needs more elaborate and tightly-controlled tick lists than usual. But when something does go very wrong – and it’s entirely unexpected and out of her control – she needs to come up with something to save the day and make it an event to remember. And the whole story – every little twist and turn of it – is just wonderful. She might just have found the perfect venue, but she needs the help of friends old and new to bring things together and make it a day to remember.
The romance in this book is just glorious – not just the happy couple, or Lexie and Theo, but coming at you from every possible direction. The settings are simply perfect – I’d just love to lie on a blanket in that wonderful tree house and watch the stars! The whole cast of characters is beautifully managed, every one a well-drawn individual – and if you did read the first book, it was lovely to see some of the original characters turning up and doing their bit to save the day. There’s an edge of sadness at times – Lexie’s need to move on from her past, the challenges facing Freya and Harry – and the emotional touches are really well handled, given appropriate weight but never overshadowing the overall ambience of tinsel and sparkling lights. The writing is really excellent – great story telling, so smooth and easy to enjoy – and every touch of Christmas is quite perfect. And that ending – just everything I wanted it to be, in every possible way.
This was a gorgeous read, and Daisy James’ writing has never been better. I know wedding planning and full-on Christmas might not be everyone’s cup of tea (or hot chocolate with spiced rum and marshmallows…), but I thoroughly enjoyed every moment and this book was everything I needed and wanted it to be. Sheer joy from beginning to end – I loved it, and it might be just the book for you too.
We all know how much I love a book series, and the Cornish Confetti Agency is no exception! In this third instalment, we find ourselves back with Lexie in Cornwall, as she continues to cover the Cornish Confetti Agency for Marley who remains in America. Christmas has descended, and with it a beautiful Christmas-themed wedding for Phoebe and Sam. They require a week of activities for their guests, ending with a beautiful wedding. As we now know, trouble seems to follow Lexie wherever she goes, and once again she finds herself in the midst of a mystery! She needs to work hard alongside her beau, Theo, to find out who is causing trouble and make sure that nothing ruins this wedding!
The run up to Christmas is a busy one, with Lexie also returning to her roots and arranging a fashion show for her best friend Freya, to showcase her amazing bridal gowns. Everyone is relying on Lexie to pull off an amazing wedding and a stunning show - she's going to need everyones help to pull it off!
It's always a joy to return to Lexie's world. I am amazed by how organised she is, but also about how passionate she is about her work. She clearly thrives on on the stress that often accompanies event planning, although she is also very aware of the fact that she needs her team around her to achieve and accomplish everything that she sets out to do. Even when drama reigns, she is able to calmly troubleshoot and solve everyones problems!
I loved revisiting Lexie, Theo, Freya and Jasper. They are all great characters who bring something different to the mix. I enjoy following their dynamic as a group, as well as their individual relationships with Lexie. I am also very pleased to note that this is not their last outing - we get to meet them all again in the next Cornish Confetti Agency outing - Tropical Skies at The Cornish Confetti Agency. I can't wait to grab myself a copy!
I am more than happy to recommend Christmas at The Cornish Confetti Agency, but it seems a shame to just read this one. So I fully recommend that you grab yourself copies of The Cornish Confetti Agency and Summer at the Cornish Confetti Agency and read those as well!
Thank you to Daisy James and Rachel at Rachels Random Resources for asking me to be a part of this wonderful blog tour, and for providing me with a copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review.
I have read a few of Daisy’s books now and those I have read, I have thoroughly enjoyed. I particularly enjoy ‘The Cornish Confetti Agency’ series. I have been waiting (im)patiently for the next instalment. Well ladies and gents the wait is over as ‘Christmas At The Cornish Confetti Agency’ is now available as an e-book. I couldn’t put this book down and I thoroughly enjoyed ‘Christmas At The Cornish Confetti Agency’ but more about that in a bit. It didn’t take me long to get into this story. In fact the synopsis was enough to grab my attention and draw me in. From then on, I just couldn’t put the book down. It wasn’t exactly glued to my hand but it might as well have been because it travelled everywhere with me. I couldn’t bear to miss a second of this delightful read. I was so wrapped up in the story that I lost all track of time and just how quickly I was reading and getting through the story. I was staggered to realise that I had read over half of the book in one long reading binge. The book isn’t particularly long so I did get through it pretty quickly. By the time I got to the end of ‘Christmas At The Cornish Confetti Agency’, I was already looking forward to the next book in the series. ‘Christmas At The Cornish Confetti Agency’ is well written. Reading one of Daisy’s books feels more like chatting with a friend than actually reading a book. I hope that makes sense. Daisy has one of those warm writing styles that is easy to get along with and easy to get used to. Daisy also has the knack of making the reader feel as though they are part of the story themselves. That’s how I felt at any rate. This was one of those books that made me smile, made me chuckle and left me feeling as though I had just go a ‘hug from a mug’ in the sense that I felt all warm and fuzzy inside. In short, I really enjoyed reading ‘Christmas At The Cornish Confetti Agency’ and I would definitely recommend it to other readers. I will certainly be reading more of Daisy’s work in the future. The score on the Ginger Book Geek board is a very well deserved 4* out of 5*.
Christmas at the Cornish Confetti Agency, was a sweet, fun book to read with a cup of hot chocolate. I love a good holiday romance and this one hit all the right notes. We have a lovely, snowy setting, happy couples, Christmas trees, cookies, and mulled wine.
This is the third in the series and starts right in with the lead-up to Phoebe and Sam’s Christmas wedding. This is first I’ve read and it did take me a little while to feel comfortable with who the characters are and their relationships to each other. Once I got to know them, though, it’s a fabulous group, fun to spend time with. Lexie is, temporarily, a wedding planner, and she wants this wedding to be perfect. I loved all of the activities leading up to the wedding party, like decorating Christmas trees and making gingerbread creations. The wedding party all joins in the fun. It made me want to be there too.
The tension here is not with any of the couples, which is nice. No big secrets, no will-they/won’t they. Someone though is trying to sabotage the wedding, and Lexie, with her boyfriend Theo, needs to figure out who before the pranks become more serious. There are several suspects including the bride’s brother or her maid of honor. Even this little mystery was solved well and everything was resolved without ruining the Christmas spirit of the book. Happy endings all around.
A fabulous, uplifting Christmas tale which will make you want to deck the halls!
Phoebe and Sam have dreamed of a fun, winter wonderland wedding ever since he slipped the ring onto her fourth finger, left hand - so who better to make all their dreams come true than The Cornish Confetti Agency? Which is how Lexie Harrington finds herself up to her eyes in all this sparkly and Christmas-themed. This is no easy job but with Theo at her side, Lexie is sure she can deliver everything the clients demand, conveniently forgetting that trouble and disasters seem to follow her around. When things start to go wrong, Lexie and Theo have to done their deerstalkers and turn detective once again but can they work it all out in time to save the day?
This is the third book in this series but an easy stand-alone read. I'm a big fan of this author, but just haven't been able to find space in my schedule to review the previous two. However, this one made up for it all - it's a superb read! A bit of a mystery, a helping of romance, a great big dollop of fun and laughter all add up to great enjoyment and I really loved everything about it. There are some great ideas for those who want to come up with some family activities for the festive season. Great characters, so much going on and an ending which sparkled! A truly lovely Christmas novel, earning 4.5*.
This turned out to be my favourite, so far, in the Cornish Confetti Agency. It had all the ingredients of its predecessors, such as a vividly drawn cast of characters, a beautiful setting but also some gorgeous festive touches. This is a book to escape into. The activities on the run up to the wedding are fun and dripping with Christmas. All the images of the holiday season are there, from delicious hot chocolate, the scents of cinnamon and pine needles, to snow globes and decorated trees. It is just gorgeous. I also enjoy how the series merges elements of romcoms with a mystery. It is very light touch but nevertheless, has a faint whiff of the cosy classic. Lexie is a wonderful character who is fully committed to doing the best that she can for everyone. She has some issues to work through from her childhood but always looks for the positive where she can. I am delighted to see that there is a fourth in this heart-warming series- what a joy!
In short: A warm, witty and comforting read. Thanks to the author for a copy of the book
I enjoyed curling up with this book on a wet and windy afternoon during the October half term holiday in Wiltshire. I’ve still not managed to visit Cornwall and due to the current global pandemic, don’t see any likelihood of a visit in the next few months. So it was nice to have a virtual visit.
Lexie is organising a wedding AND a Blissful Brides Christmas Extravaganza in the two weeks before Christmas, when life is already busy for many of us. As the synopsis states, Lexie has to discover who is playing jokes on the groom’s father during the hen and stag events before the wedding is spoilt. If you have read the previous Cornish Confetti Agency books, you will remember how Lexie regularly has to save the day.
Much as I enjoyed the wedding run up and the wedding, my favourite part of the book was the Blissful Brides Christmas Extravaganza. This sounded amazing and Lexie had been planning for this since primary school. Of course, nothing is easy or straightforward for Lexie, but the book has a lovely community feel as everyone pulls together to help.
The book includes a mixture of old and new characters, delicious sounding food, a gorgeous dog and a sprinkling of festive snow. I recommend reading with a large mug of hot chocolate and a mince pie (Loved Theo’s mince pie recipe and Christmas baking competition tradition). A cosy Christmas book I’m happy to recommend.
Weddings and Christmas are two of my favourite things so my expectations were high especially after reading some really positive reviews. Sadly although I loved the character of Lexie this book was a bit underwhelming for me. It seemed a bit silly, like the 'crimes' they were trying to solve included a portrait defaced with googly eyes and a moustache?! The blurb made it seem these silly mysteries were the main part of the story when really these were solved pretty quickly and then nothing much else really happened. Before reading this I thought I might read the rest of the series but I don't think I will as it would only be for the wedding content but I think there are much better wedding themed books out there. Having said all this the Christmas tree decorating and gingerbread making competitions along with the snow gave me all the festive feels and some parts of it did warm my heart. Overall this is fine as a cosy, festive read with the added bonus of weddings but I wouldn't be in a rush to reccomend or read the rest of the series.
With lots of snowy descriptions and wintry treats, set against a backdrop of the gorgeous Cornish scenery, this is a perfect Christmas read. This book oozes with the scents of gingerbread, hot chocolate with cinnamon sticks and mulled wine, all so deliciously described that I would recommend the book for these alone. However, there is a mystery to solve that threatens to spoil the festive atmosphere and Lexie has to act quickly if she is to pull off the perfect Christmas wedding for her client. All in all a lovely read that will make you feel all Christmassy and no doubt have you searching for that last Christmas cookie to go with it.
A super cute continuation of the series, with a bit of a deviation in plot structure compared to the first two books. This is such a cute, fun, festive read and perfect for lovers of all things Cornwall. Nice to see so many characters in this book back from previous stories as well. The only issue I have with the plot is around Lexie processing her father’s death with her mum. It seems far fetched they have a close relationship but haven’t discussed the death which happened almost ten years ago. Despite this, it’s a great read.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This is the best series of books the way it’s written just makes you feel like you know the characters personally. You asked people to say what Cornwall means to them. Well I have been going since I was a child and now I take my son there. Cornwall is my happy place especially looe in fact we are renewing our wedding vows on looe beach in June and I can’t think of anything more perfect. Great book please keep them coming x
Thank you Daisy James for a delightful continuation of Lexies exploits as a wedding planner in Cornwall. Funny romantic unexpected and poignant this book has it all.
Light hearted reading, quite enjoyable, although I did tire slightly of the repeated words and phrases throughout the series such as 'tickle' or 'ostrich head in sand' etc and how many times are the main couple going to roll their eyes at each other?
Will the Christmas – themed wedding be the wedding without drama?
Lexie Harrington is planning probably the most magical wedding. Phoebe and Sam’s wedding is Christmas – themed, so bring out the holly and mistletoe, all the gingerbread and mulled wine! and also all the activities taking place before the actual wedding are themed around Christmas and snow. Together with Theo Barker, Lexie is ready for a wedding that will run smoothly. But of course The Cornish Confetti Agency would not be The Cornish Confetti Agency is there wouldn’t be some sabotage… So when a portrait has been ‘brightened up’ with pirate eye – patches and moustaches, and an expensive cologne suddenly truly stinks, Lexie and Theo have to again investigate who is sabotaging this wedding. And not only the wedding is causing Lexie some stress, also her future is still unclear… will a future at the Agency be possible even when the righteous owner comes back? And if not, what would that mean for her future with Theo?
I think that deep down, I am a mean girl… even before I started with this again beautiful next adventure of Lexie, I was hoping something would go wrong, just for my entertainment! And the author fulfilled my mean wish, and even my kinder wishes too! I LOVED going back to The Cornish Confetti Agency! And what better wedding to prepare than a Christmas – themed one! Again the imagination of the Daisy James was amazing, showing us how Lexie manages to create the perfect atmosphere for the bride and groom! Lexie surely knows her business and thanks to Theo and her friends, no task is too difficult for her! And is becoming even better in her investigation skills! I found it lovely to see how Lexie is finding her place after her running away in the first book of this series. Finally everything is falling into place for her. She knows what her hearts wants, but she is also a bit afraid of what the future would hold. Because even though her heart is in Cornwall, she also had the opportunity to go back to her life of before. Oh, the dilemma!!!
Whenever Lexie and Theo are together, work-related or not, it was serious swoon-material! These two together are just too cute for words! Every time there was Lexie – Theo time, I was just smiling no matter what was going on! I ADORE this couple!
This story was too quickly over, as I could read for many hours more about Lexie her adventures, with Theo by her side! I had many laughs, as even the sabotages were kind of funny (whenever I am not the victim!) and found myself smiling over the kindness, the love and caring that sparks from the pages. When can I read the next book in this series??????
