Anya and her friends are on a trip to summer camp when she comes across a write up on the wall. The write up although somewhat illegible gives out information about a runaway Queen. Her kingdom Roosevelt was once destroyed and the people were killed by the dark king Charles. Yanturi, a story keeper, tells her few things about this long-lost story of the Kingdom Roosevelt. However, leaving all these facts and fiction behind she goes back to her home. But on the way, she and her friend, Ashton are hurled back to the past- kingdom Roosevelt. Now they must help the kingdom to go back to their original life. Anya will now understand the meaning and background of her necklace which she never gave any importance to.
It is an action-packed, amusing, and interesting fantasy read. It has few elements of sci-fi too. The language is very simple so I feel like it is great for children who want to be introduced to fantasy books. I liked the story and character building. It definitely is a page-turner due to the adventures written here. I got hooked to it by reading the writing on the wall itself. Anya reminded me a lot about Poppy from the book 'From Blood And Ash' series. I love reading young adult and teenage stories so this was my type of book. Also, the book cover makes me want to have that pendant of Anya. 🙈
What I did not like was the length of the book- a few parts seemed unnecessary. And little spelling errors were also present. These came as bummers for me.
Overall, an enjoyable read especially for beginners and children. And if you like reading about courageous teenagers especially girls then this is a must read.

Returning home from the camp she gets herself and her companion flung back by years and years into the jail of the realm of Roosevelt. She and her friend became victims of a lifeless queen's attraction. In order to get their way back to home, they are asked to help the queen's realm.
It is a lucid and beautifully narrated tale with so much intensity and mysteries warped in pages that's genuinely gonna hold the readers hooked until they stop.
How might they discover their direction back home? Will they be accessible to fulfil the condition that lay before them?! Doubt and Deception all over, what will be their destiny.
Right all along, I was completely connected with the story and the world that the creator made was hypnotizing. Directly from the introduction, the readers will be completely fascinated with the captivating story. This book is loaded with experience! It is ideally suited for youngsters simply diving into the fantasy genre. The words are strong enough to pull you into the atmosphere of the story that causes you to feel as though you're there directly adjacent to Anya as she investigates the new world. The cast of characters in this book was fabulous!! I cherished every single person, both great and terrible. Anya, who I associated with the most. I adored the personality of Anya. She was intense, proud, daring and reasonable as well.

The book "Charms spell" is an incredible book penned down by the author Lavanya Bhambure. It is the story of Anya Kenned and her friends who are on a summer camp. They were in the town Blackowl. She was wearing a blue pendant that her mother gifted her on her fifteenth birthday. On their way back to the home they find themself flung back by years and years into the prison of the kingdom of Queen Roosevelt because of her pendant.
There was a rumor about the castle of Roosevelt that it was a perch of bloodshed.
And to get back to their home, they are asked for help from the Queen's territory.
What will they do..??
Will they be able to help Queen..??

Anya Kenned's life was as uneventful as it could be until she discover a mystical cave during her camping trip. The cave had some mysterious writings that unlocked some hidden memories in Anya's mind. Till now Anya had never noticed or took any special interest in the blue pendant that laid on her neck. Thinking it must be something that was merely passed down from her ancestors she paid no attention to it. The inscriptions in the cave called out to her and she wanted to find more about it. On their way Anya and her friend Sabrina are transported back to the old times in the prison of Roosevelt. Now they must find their way out of that decade as well solve the mystery behind the blue pendant and connection with it. They cannot trust anyone this mysterious world.
The whole theme of magic and mystery was really interesting and had lot of amazing elements. The details were colourful and very beautifully written. Easy read and makes the readers totally engrossed in the story. The characters also had their own colourful personality which is also a plus for the story. All in all really worth purchasing.

This is a mysterious and magical story of Anya Kenned and her not so normal blue pendent which she was wearing since her fifteenth birthday. That pendant has it's own mystery and it takes her and her friend into the prison of the kingdom of Roosevelt. They were not aware about the hurdles they have to face to get back to their home. Will they get success to find a way back to their home?
Well, you need to read this book to know the further story!
It's a wonderful read. I was gripped from start to finish and loved that the lead characters are actually likeable for once you really do root for them despite everything that comes their way. This book was full of twists and turns and ended up being completely surprising at the end.
In short, I had an absolute blast reading this book. Lavanya kept the pacing brisk and the story front and center, but also managed to decorate the narrative with honest, insightful observations about the nature of good and evil. If you are a lover of the action packed thriller, this should not be skipped!

Honestly, I loved everything about this book. I really enjoyed this novel, I just wish it had been a little more longer because my heart wanted to read more and more. The beginning was really intriguing and it grasped my attention and so the ending was equally good.
I am good at finding or predicting, but in this thriller, things turn out to be a little different. Twists and turns are keeping a reader in the mirage. You cannot imagine what is coming up next, that's how this book becomes the number one choice for me. From the opening scenes of this book, I was pulled in. I followed the mysterious yet enthralling story from start to finish with so much excitement.

Her veracious, intrepid and jocular nature contributes in crafting a wholesome experience. The climax of the book is tear jerking!
The intrigue that the book manufactures with the aforementioned elements is especially praiseworthy. You wouldn’t believe that this book was written by an eleventh standard student for most of its part. Even though I am not a fan of science fiction and metaphysics, I was drawn to the storyline. Besides, the author makes great use of humour to mitigate the asperity and menace of the situations.
However, I personally feel that book should be a bit tighter and succinct. Sometimes, the conversations between characters go on for too long, and events seem extended. Barring a few spelling errors and the verbose and circumlocutory writing style, the book is great for beginners.
