2.5 DISAPPOINTED STARS
Two single parents that have had their fair share of heartache find themselves getting a second chance at love. Navy Seal Patrick (Ice) Foster vowed never to be in a relationship again, after his wife left him but when he sees Attorney Rebecca Mayes he finds himself unable to keep away and ready to risk his heart.
Really excited to pick this book up when I read the blurb, but overall finished feeling underwhelmed. The danger and passion promised in the blurb didn't ripple off the page. And with the story finishing at 38% I found myself double blinking more than a little surprised at how short the read really was.

Three great series starters. I really enjoy Makenna's books and now I have two more series to explore. I highly recommend this book and this author's novels.
