Barrett “Hack” Moore has been obsessed with Paisley Wessex for six long months. All it took was one glance at her picture for the tough MC enforcer to fall for the sweet college student. Staying away from Paisley was the last thing Hack wanted, but that’s what he did because it was what she needed.

Paisley didn’t know that the hot biker had been keeping a close eye on her all this time. Not until he showed up at her hotel room door when she was on the run from a dirty cop, and he finally claimed the woman who was meant to be his all along—her.

If you love a safe, steamy MC story, then you must make Hack your next read. You get the MC dynamics with actual intense OTT love.

HERO Hack was rough around the edges, intense and so hot. Just like I like my heroes. He was totally devoted to Paisley and always put her first.

HEROINE Paisley was a great heroine. She was sweet with an innocent vibe. However, she knew she wanted Hack and didn’t play games or push him away. It was refreshing to see that

OW DRAMA no ow drama

OM DRAMA no om drama

STEAM great amount of steam.

SEPARATION there was a separation of about 6 months but neither were with others. Hack used his time wisely by learning everything he could about Paisley

SECONDARY CHARACTERS some mention of former heroes. Also it was very cool that the other guys (potential heroes) were well behaved and not skanks. It insured that I will check out their stories (if they get one!)

VIOLENCE MC drama but it was off page so nothing detailed. No violence of a sexual nature

SAFETY safe- love at first sight. No others after meeting

Pretty fast pace and steamyish..

We met this couple in the last book couple hints and now it's there turn. Hack has been well stalkingish Paisley since his brother said she been though some things (in the last book) to give her time and he did 6 months of just watching from far away. And now that the threat is semi back it has Paisley running and hiding. This doesn't take Hack long to find his woman since he a pro at well hacking lol.

As for Paisley she forgot to message/call hack when the cop showed up to her place. But when she meets her man she is also sprung ;) those steamy looks and moments yummy.
Things get cleared and tension melts when they are around eachother, he makes sure that ex police cap knows his place.

My only really ugh is Hack being mad at Paisley clothes.. THEY ARE CLOTHES STOP BEING OVER THE TOP ON CLOTHES!!

No ow/om drama, no cheating, drama, slight secondary character, sexy times, virgin gal no manwhore celibate

Recommend- yes/maybe

Another Silver Saint MC member bites the dust and falls harder than the last!

Hack and Paisley had a smexy, over-the-top, instalove story to tell in "Hack: Silver Saint MC", book 4, of the series! Really loving this gritty series so who's next! Will it be Nova or will it be Breaker? Only time will tell with this group of strong, caveman-like alphas? Oh and Hack has a doctorate! Now that's different! But payback is beast for poor John Clark isn't it! And Hack is really running the show!

Also, I'm still waiting on Logan and Lena's story from Mac and Brigitt's story when poor Logan was injured by another MC member and Lena came to visit him in the hospital!

Bring them all Fiona Davenport! We are ready!

5 Silver Saint stars!

Hack knew that Paisley would be his the moment he seen her picture. Giving her time is the last thing he wants to do, but knows that it’s necessary after everything that she’s been through. But that time is up. Now the need to find and protect her are the only things on his mind. Once he does, nothing is going to stop him from claiming what’s been his all along.

-safe read
-H celibate
-h virgin
-no om/ow drama

Hack (Silver Saints MC, #4) by Fiona Davenport

HERO - Barrett “Hack” Moore. Enforcer for the Silver Saints Motorcycle Club. Really good with computers. Former military. Tall and muscular with tattoos. Dark brown hair, longer on the top and dark brown eyes. Small gold ring in his right ear.

HEROINE - Paisley Wessex. College student working on an associate’s degree in graphic design. Long, fiery red hair and emerald green eyes.

OVERALL THOUGHTS - This was a so-so read for me. In the timeline, Hack begins about where the first epilogue of Dom ends. It’s six months after Hack first saw Paisley in person. In the aforementioned epilogue, we learned that Paisley had gone missing. Here, we see the events leading up to that and, of course, what follows. The entire meat of the story takes place over the course of a couple days, I believe.

First, what I liked. I could relate to Paisley’s living situation. I spent a few months in college living in a complex that matched up fellow students, four to an apartment. Like Paisley, the other three girls knew each other and I was the odd person out. I also enjoyed the twist of Paisley .

It also seemed like the authors have taken note of the fact that readers don’t like it when potential future heroes flirt with current heroines. This time they made sure to note that Breaker was just messing with Hack and that he’d been nothing but respectful to Paisley when they’d met previously. We saw Breaker a few times in Dom’s book, including when he was tasked with getting Paisley home safe. I also found it funny when Paisley asked Hack how he knew she wore a certain necklace all the time, and all the guys basically ran out the room.

Now for the negatives. I don’t like prologues and this one was just a glossing over of some of the events from Dom’s book, but from Hack’s POV. Fine, maybe, for people who didn’t read that one, but I honestly felt all of this could have been sprinkled in the main portion of the story. The end of chapter one had this weird information dump. Paisley goes to answer the door, sees who it is, and suddenly gives the reader a rundown on her after-graduation plans. Not the best place for that, in my opinion.

Chapter three mistakenly says it was Harlowe and Link who visited her instead of Lucy and Dom. In fact, Link’s name is used instead of Dom’s in more than one place. Are the authors losing track of their characters? The ridiculousness of the following scene - after Paisley falls asleep, Hack puts her to bed in her own hotel room. Then he moves her things into his hotel room. Then he goes to sleep in her hotel room. LMAO! What is going on?

One of my biggest pet peeves about this series is the fact that ages are never specified, except for Link and Harlowe in their book. I have no idea if most of the club members we’ve met before are around Link’s age, or are some of them younger? And what about the women? Not just the heroines (who are mostly hinted at being early 20s), but other supporting female characters, like Cat. I have no idea how old to picture them.

This novella was shorter than the others in the series and it shows in what I felt was a lack of character development. I couldn’t connect to either lead and I can’t quite put my finger on why. The conflict of the story was an afterthought. Other than a brief visit to Paisley’s apartment in the beginning, the antagonist makes no other efforts to track her or bother her in any way. He was just an unimportant faceless character whose only purpose was to give Hack something to do, for him to be able to show off the reason why he’s called “Hack”, and to finally give him a reason to introduce himself to Paisley.

I’m wondering if this is the last story in the series because there was no note from the authors to watch out for the next hero’s story, nor were there any other potential relationships hinted at. Alternately, they didn’t market this as the last entry either. There are still a few guys that’ve had substantial appearances in past books that I could see getting stories, namely Dax, Nova, and Breaker. I guess we’ll see!

HACK is finally freaking here and holy smoke-- allllllllll the swoon, can we ladies find our own Hack?

Steamy, sexy, suspenseful, intense, unputdownable, completely unforgettable... Fiona Davenport slayed this romance, these two beautiful characters and I'm crazy excited for more!

This was the highly anticipated book after the last in the Silver Saints MC series and y'all, it didn't disappoint for a single moment.

I highly recommend this book.

I love how as romance readers we are completely fine with a man basically stalking a woman he loves cause he’s ultimately trying to keep her safe, but if someone did that in real life we’re 110% against it lol

Anywho… I thought at times Hack was a tad bit too possessive/caveman with Paisley, especially when it came to what she wore. But I’m obviously willing to over look it. I love how all the silver saint men aren’t afraid to admit their feelings for their women! No playing games, just straight to the point.

3 smut-scale stars!

Hack and Paisley get their story! Short and smutty MC romance.

“You’re my property, Paisley. My old lady. And when we get home, you’re gonna wear my cut so every son of a bitch in the world knows it. Because I’m a possessive motherfucker, and I don’t share. ”

Hack could spy on me anytime he wanted!!!

We remember Paisley from the book Dom. Hack was immediately drawn to her just from her picture. He knew that he had to be patient before claiming her because of everything that she had been through. It's been 6 long months and Hack was done waiting. But when he goes to finally claim her, she's gone! Needless to say, they don't call him Hack for no reason. It doesn't take him long before he finds and claims his girl. Every book in this series just keeps getting better! I cant wait to see who's next....Breaker or maybe Nova?

- virgin h
- celibate H ( doesn't say how long other than it's been a long time)
- no om/ow drama
- no abuse
- 2 great epilogues

Hack and Paisley are one smoking couple! If you have read the previous books in the series you will know that Hack has been waiting for months for Paisley. If you haven't, you can still read this as a standalone but it will make you want to read the others because they're just as sweet and steamy. It moves quickly but for Hack, he already knew Paisley would be his. It's kind of funny how Paisley doesn't even fight him. The attraction is instant and I devoured this in one sitting.

Barrett "Hack" Moore has met the girl of his dreams, well online only but he knows she is the one for him. He has waited and kept an eye on her from afar but now he is ready to claim Paisley Wessex as his own. With a man intent on harming Paisley, Hack makes himself known and claimed.

This was a fun quickie. I wish it had been a bit longer because it was a bit rushed in parts. I liked Hack, he was pure alpha male where Paisley was concerned. Entertaining biker short story.

Dirty Talking Biker

A dirty talking biker who can back up the words that pour from his mouth, is on a mission. To claim Paisley. He’s bided his time and waited. Though always watching her every move she’s never far from his eyes.

Paisley will surrender to him and she’ll be his.

It’s HOT, DIRTY AND STEAMY. The chemistry is sizzling between our leads. It’s a yes from me.

Hack is a hot insta-love MC romance that brings older MC male and young, sweet heroine together. The story is a quick, easy and sizzling novella read. Hack and Paisley’s story is one that I enjoyed. Hack has been stalking Paisley for 6 months but it's been for a very good reason/cause. The chemistry between them is red-hot. There is action, excitement, MC romance, heat, danger, feels, romance, insta-love age-gap, and HEA. I can't wait to read more in this awesome series.

Hack is my favorite kind of hero; stalkerish, protective, alpha and focused completely on his heroine, Due to events in the prior books in the series, Paisley comes onto Hack's radar and he is instantly smitten and obsessed. Unknown to her, he stalks her from afar; partly to keep her safe, but mainly because she is his and he is just waiting for the right time to claim her. When they do meet in person, the chemistry is off the charts and Hack becomes even more of an overprotective alpha, which was just delicious to watch.

The story was fast paced, the banter on point and the writing smooth; something that I have come to expect from this writing duo. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this entry in the series and am looking forward to more.

I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.

The couple: Hack and Paisley

Romance genre: MC-lite
Series: Silver Saints MC
Length: 77 pages

Plot: Hack has been keeping an eye on Paisley, but it's time for him to step in. There's a dirty cop on her trail and she's disappeared. Hack knows that if he can find her, he can keep her safe.

Commentary: We met both these characters briefly in the previous books. Paisley had gone missing, caught up in a little bit of trouble and hiding out at a motel. Hack, who is good with computers, is tasked with finding her. But he had already been looking out for her, ever since he saw her picture six months earlier. I would have expected him to be a little more stalkerish, given his supposed computer skills, but it isn't that sort of insta-love novella.
