S. D. Rudd (Stephon) was born on March 15, 1978 and is an Amazon best-selling author. He is known for writing suspense thriller novels, also establishing himself as a fantasy author. He has gained recognition for creating unforgettable characters, and placing them in plots that leave a seismic meaningful impact.
Biography
Rudd was born into a family of federal government contractors. Because of his parents’ ever changing work he often moved to different cities or states, as their assignments relocated. Rudd learned how to make friends fast at a very young age. Eventually, he became a loner, spending most of his free time reading suspense thriller and fantasy fiction novels.
When Rudd grew up, he worked in the federal government as a contractor in procurement. Later, he ventured out into the private sector, working as a technician for computers, large printers and cable. But being a technician could not quench his thirst for creativity. In 2006, he changed careers again and entered into the marketing field. Throughout his various careers, Rudd wrote suspense thriller and fantasy fiction in his spare time as a hobby.
During his marketing career, a very successful one at that, a friend stumbled upon Rudd’s first novel Seer, which was entitled In The Blood at the time. After reading it within a few hours, and falling in love with the characters, she urged him to publish it, and to write more.
Rudd’s novels have hit Amazon’s top 10 best sellers list several times for fantasy and suspense, outselling many well-known authors at various times. His novel Black Water (book one of The Nest Series) is quickly gaining a strong fan base.
