The best part about the book is that it not just helps you analyze other people but it helps you know yourself better. You can know why you act a certain way or why other people act a certain way and learn about other people better and more importantly understand them better and the key to a good relationship is better understanding. Analyzing People
As a Retail Manager this book at home. It is very important to pick up on non verbal queues from my team, my manager and my customers. More often it's not so much what you say, it's about how you act and what you do. Being able to pick up on hand gestures, facial expressions, posture. eye contact and tone of voice Is extremely beneficial. My job is about being a good leader and being able to influence people. On the flip side I need to be very aware of what non verbal cues I give off give off. That will determine how people receive me and respond to me. Your emotional intelligence must be intact in order to succeed and motivate people and yourself. This book was very helpful. Using your analyzing skills you will also be able to pick up on people that are trying to manipulate you or cause you harm. That piece of information was very valuable to me.
