Pretty fast pace some steam and okayish story. I do get annoyed of the secert baby trope.
This one starts off with a drunk bang!! And it was delicious and steamy and alittle heartbreaking since both parties are madly in love with eachother but both don't wanna lose or ruin their bff friendship.
The next morning was a doozy for them but Leila took the cake on push away when she kept avoiding Devon. Which honestly I never got since they BOTH are pinning after one another.. this dummy I swear. I was alittle confused why she would think Devon wouldn't believe her about the baby. He was your first and only sexual partner. 😂😂
Idk I just really wish Devon didn't let Leila push him away he should have fought every step of the way.
Low low angst, No ow/om drama, no cheating, tiny drama, Sexy times, Virgin gal and idk his past

BFFs turned into lovers.
Good plot but the heroine ruined it for me.
MCs decided to get drunk coz’ Leila had an awful day. They were shitfaced so took a cab home, shared a bed, and Leila made a move. And so, the sexy smexy begins.
When the morning came to face the consequences of last night sexcapade, Leila cowed coz’ she’s ashamed. Devon, the good guy, gave her time to cool off, left to go work but told her he loves her and not worry. Now stupid Leila took off for a while coz’ she thinks Devon is not in love with her.
Then after several weeks, she finally confronted him coz’ she’s pregnant.
I’d say Leila is selfish, shallow, and not a good friend.
BFFs since they were in high school, knows Devon to be a good guy and always on her side, protects her at all costs, and respects her. Then one night of drunken mistake, you’d turn your back on the guy coz’ you’re ashamed? Scared that friendship will now be ruined? Well shit, people make mistake, but at least give the people the respect they deserve. Especially if a person is a good one. Face the consequence, don’t dodge it. And again, stressing the obvious, Devon is a good guy. I’m pretty sure when a person is good, he/she is equip to be understanding.
I should have DNF this but Devon is captivating. So I just skimmed Leila POVs coz’ I don’t wanna read anymore of her bullshit excuses since she’s sticking to “I’m ashamed, I’m confused, Give me time…” blah blahs.

Not safe for some, there is mention of boys in her room when she was a teenager, although she was a virgin. They new each other since they were ten. No mention of his past but they claim to love each other since they met. This is too much of an overdone theme. Plus the push away annoyed me a bit

A great addition to the Real Man series. Loved this sweet yet steamy friends to lovers romance. Devon and Leila have been friends forever, but the problem is that they have had feelings for each other for the longest time and never acted on it. Will the one night they shared make them finally see what was in front of them the whole time or will it backfire and cause them to lose everything. Another great read from Jenika Snow.

I found Leila such an annoying FMC! Seriously, you love your best friend so much. You finally get together, in a drunk state, and yet you avoid him? Beyond frustrating reading.
Devon was your usual possessive MMC.

This series (A Real Man) is one of my top favorites to read! It's short, steamy and sweet! Mrs. Jenika Snow sure do know how to bring an Alpha male to life. Devon was a hard working business man who had strong feelings for his bestfriend Leila. Watching the dynamics of Devon convince himself to pursue Leila until she crumbles, and saw him more than a friend was charming.
Leila was in love with Devon, but was scared to tell him because of the history they have as friends. This story had a nice flow to it, and made you feel everything these two were experiencing. I enjoyed this book so much I actually stayed up way past my bedtime to finish it! This book is definitely worth the five star rating in my book! Thank you so much for a great read again Mrs. Snow!

Leila is in love with him, but doesn't believe he feels the same. After one drunken night when they end up in bed together, everything is awkward.
Devon is also in love with Leila but isn't exactly sure she feels the same. He knows they belong together. Are meant to be together as friends and lovers. While he is giving her space to figure out that she loves him too, she drops a bombshell into their relationship.
I wish Devon had tried a little harder and pushed Leila to listen to him. But One Night is a fun read by a very talented author.

Hot damn! Jenika Snow knows how to write romance! Leila and Devon’s book was on fire and I do love a good friends-to-romance story.
They love each other but are too afraid to tell the other how they are feeling but one drunken night leads to all kinds of emotions and complications. After finally coming to their senses they realize that they are made for each other. Devon is sweet but also an alpha and his personality perfectly compliments Leila’s spirit.
I loved this book and cannot wait for more in the Real Man series!

I am a huge fan of friends to lovers, especially when they both have hidden their true feelings for each other. After a horrible day in which Leila got fired for refusing to sleep with her boss, she ties one on with her best friend Devon. Longing and desire explode, under the influence unfortunately and they spend the night together. The next morning Leila fears she has ruined her friendship and starts to retreat. Devon can't allow her to pull away from him, can he? Not when she is the best thing that has ever happened to him. One Night was a whirlpool of unrequited love, desire, friendship and fear. These two quickly pull you in, you can't help but be cheering them on and confess their feelings. So sweet and romantic, I was on cloud nine by the end. Another fabulous read by the amazing Jenika Snow!

Now the cats out the bag Devon wants more but Leila is hesitant and pushed him away but doesn't really mean to.
I love these two together. They are amazing in everyway. I love that they have such a strong friendship and that it finally ends up into something so much more and stronger. Well done

So the cover of this just about had me clicking on this without even reading the blurb. Then the blurb mentioned friends and I was already hooked. I love a good friends to lovers story and Jenika does them right. I enjoyed reading Devon and Leila so much that I devoured this in one sitting. I would be walking around with my Kindle in my hand unable to put it down. I loved their friendship and the passion they had for each other. It wasn't all smooth but there wasn't a lot of angst or drama, which I loved.

This was a cute book. I really enjoyed reading about Leila and Devon. These two have been in love with each other but have been too afraid to admit it to the other for fear of losing their 10+ years of friendship. After one night Leila runs away from Devon but after several weeks, Devon is ready to have it out with Leila and tell her how he feels. Leila has a confession of her own when Devon finally confesses his true feelings. I would recommend this sweet friends to lovers romance.

Yet another fantastic addition to the Real Man series. Jenika Snow gives it her all with every book.
Devon and Leila best friends since they were kids, and both completely in love with each other, that’s perfect right? No neither want to cross that line and risk losing what they already have, till fate steps in and sets a rollercoaster in motion.

I enjoyed this short and steamy friends to lovers story with an accidental pregnancy in there to boot!
Too adorable how both had crushed on each other for years and all it took was a night of heavy drinking to wash away a bad day to get these two on the path to forever.

LOVED Leila and Devon
This was so much sweet and sexy! I loved these two characters. The best friends to lovers isn’t my typical go to read but their chemistry and connection was so amazing. Loved every page!

A swoon worthy best friends to lovers read.
A quick best friends to lovers romance read that pack the punch with the heat level that sizzles. I loved Devon and Leila’s character, the were likable and had great chemistry. What started out as friendship becomes more as feeling blossoms to a swoon worthy HEA. A definite must read for fans of this genre.
