Reflecting on the 19 tiny habits that have led to huge results in his own life, Cole credits these small daily actions as being the foundational elements of his successes in his late teens and 20

I turned to bodybuilding to start over, find a sense of confidence, and turn my newfound boring diet of rice, chicken, and vegetables into an unfair advantage—putting on 70 pounds of muscle and transforming from a skinny, socially awkward teenager into a shredded fitness model.""By 24, I had graduated college with a degree in fiction writing and decided I wanted to start taking my writing more seriously. In less than 2 years, I became one of the most-read writers on the internet, the #1 writer on Quora (a platform with more than 200 million users), and one of Inc Magazine’s Top 10 contributing writers.""And by 28 years old, I had quit my 9-5 job as a copywriter and turned my love for writing into a ghostwriting business called Digital Press. In less than 18 months, Digital Press became a multi-million-dollar agency with 20+ full-time employees working with more than 300 different Silicon Valley investors, executives, NYT best-selling authors, Grammy-winning musicians, Olympic athletes, and more."In this book, readers will not only hear Cole's story first hand, but also learn for

“19 Tiny Habits That Lead To Huge Results”—Nicolas Cole [5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️] First off, I want to say thank you to BookSirens for providing me a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review! This was a quick, but efficient and enjoyable read as the author provides us with tiny habits we can all do in order to be on the path to success. What I really enjoyed is that he provided us with his life experiences and the lessons he learned along the way and how these habits played a big role in his life. We learn about habits that will lead to happiness and success, along with ways to improve focus and discipline, and steps to change ourselves for the better to help us achieve our goals. I think I’ve mastered Habit #7 “Read A Lot” but there’s no such thing as too much reading! I found this book to be very insightful, filled with many tips and tricks that I would like to incorporate more into everyday life. I would highly recommend checking it out 👍🏼📚

‘We are what we repeatedly do’ This quote from this book sums it up beautifully. I would call this book wisdom from the trenches. The author reflects on his life and draws out the 19 habits, or bits of wisdom) that led to his success and now he’s passing on the baton to us the reader so we don’t have to learn them the hard way. None of the 19 habits are new unheard of ideas; in fact all of them are profoundly simple. And you will inherently already be familiar with most of them. But it’s not I the knowing but the doing that makes the difference. To often the known simple things are too easily dismissed. I for one have written these out on a notepad on my phone to regularly review. As the book says ‘huge results are the result of tiny habits’ and ‘success doesn’t happen in an instant. It happens through the profession of lots of little successes, strung together over time’. So I highly recommend this book if you are ready to make small changes that will lead to big success in your life.

The Secret Really is the Discipline

I am guilty of falling short in each of these 19 tiny habits. In fact, I’ve only been habitual about a handful of them.

My achievement in life reflects that lack of discipline. I don’t lack the brains or opportunity, but fear of failure and the soft comfort of mindless recreation have derailed me quite often.

You’ll probably need to read this book when your own lack of traction is bothering you most. And even then, it won’t help much if you read it defensively.

But, if you can let your guard down long enough to take personal inventory, this book is as spot-on as the other “classics” of self-help lore.

And it’s concise. No real commercial “padding” to soften the impact or grant you an excuse to set it aside.

Nicolas, thanks for being my friend.

Nicolas Cole style is unique, simple and inspiring. As I read the book I feel like he is sitting with me in the couch, helping me process all what's going on in my life. I read and read, agreeing almost everything he says. Occasionally I stop him to debate over something, share my stories with him, or thank for his advice.

I really needed a friend who could tell me how beautiful I am. A friend that has the heart to tell me some cold truths I needed.

So yeah, Nicolas thank you for being my friend.

Disclaimer: I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I fully expected this to one of those books with little to really say, but filled with unimportant filler. I am very glad I was wrong. I intend to add some of these tip/changes to my life. Words are not wasted, and everything is, in my opinion, relevant to the book. I highly recommend.

Another Actionable Read Built on Stories

Cole’s how-to wrapped in narrative makes his books approachable and informative. Ironic how this 30-something young man continues to inspire my north of fifty, middle-age, career-changing brain. :)

It’s a small book I finished in a single sitting.

And I found it more like a memoir rather than a book.

There were of course some good lines here and there.

But the book could easily be an article.

I didn’t learn much but it was a fun read.

It shows a glimpse of his earlier life and days of struggle.

Definitely a one time read.

Good read

A nice little motivational reminder of what to do in life and what to prioritize.

Divided in easy to read chapters and a few large quotes of the main ideas. Makes it easier to read it quickly and breeze through or just helps you to focus on the main idea if you are reading deeply.

I like the Author and his words.

If you are a self help book reader , you may already know many points he mentioned here. There’s are few new points as well but the one thing why I would recommend this is, even if you know the message he was successful to put those in his own modern and presentable way.

Good read.
