Life-changing healing can be yours. And you can make it happen in only 90 seconds a day. Each of the 52 devotions in More Power to You by Bible teacher Margaret Feinberg examines a popular lie in our culture and invites you to replace that lie with a biblical affirmation of truth that will bring joy to your soul.
In a culture that constantly tells us we're not good enough, not beautiful enough, and not doing enough, it's easy to feel as if we have nothing to offer. Lies about who we are and how we are failing slip into our thinking until we believe they are reality. But that's not what God intends for us.

I was attracted to this book because… I always enjoy and I am encouraged by Margaret’s writing. I’m definitely drawn to the concept of being from fear in my life.
This book was about… Margaret provides 52 devotions, each with a powerful declaration to claim. These declarations are deeply rooted in Scripture. She also states the lie these declarations speak against.
Things I liked about this book… Margaret has a storehouse of research and insights which she brings together in meaningful ways. Each devotion and declaration will encourage you, but there will be two or three which will speak directly to the negative thoughts you are facing in your spiritual life.
Why you should read this book… If there ever was a year where we need to have our spirits restored from lies surrounding our soul, this is the year. It will give you new ways of declaring victory in your spiritual life.
This book lived up to the back cover copy…This devotional will help you overcome the negative thoughts that haunt you from a strong Scriptural backdrop.
This book has been a gift and encouraging companion to me as we walk through such uncertain times with the pandemic and the political climate. Scriptural reminders every day of the fact that it is His power at work within us daily to help us do His work. We can do THIS because HE has overcome the world. Thank you @margaretfeinberg for pointing us to the one and only true source of strength, comfort and peace-JESUS.
I really loved that Margaret Feinberg gave declarations for each chapter and gave a multitude of verses in the back of the book to support each statement the chapter had. I enjoyed the personal experiences she included and how she addressed how we can all believe the lies of the world and Satan, but we don't have to live our lives like that - depressed and downtrodden. It was such a blessing to state the affirmations from her book over my life as I grew deeper in love with God and His Word.
I’ll re-read this one often. Yes, Margaret shares stories and illustrations (which she does compellingly). The bulk of the book, however, are the daily declarations that help me put truth in my head (my knower) so it will eventually reside in my heart (my believe-er). Thank you, Margaret, for this amazing tool.
My doctor recommended this one to me to help with anxiety and there’s a lot to be said of this practice. There are some good nuggets in here and the practice of identifying satan’s lie and replacing it with God’s truth is mission critical to transforming our minds. I especially love the language of not making any agreement with things or thoughts that are not of God.
The voices in our heads have so much power. This devotional helps change the narrative from lies we are believing to God's truth. Renewing our minds is so important and Margaret has provided a biblical and practical way to do just that in minutes a day.
This book will stay with me forever. I actually found myself sad when I came to the end and realized there was no more to read. I will read this book over and over as it is so educational yet inspiring. Have never read anything quite like it.
I really enjoyed going through this book as a weekly devotional through 2021 with a friend. We read a chapter each week and then talked about it together. Encouraging AND challenging! Thanks, Margaret!
So my wife recommended I read this devotional. And I did find it useful. That being said it is more specifically directed at women than she remembered. And that is who primarily recommend it too.
This book came at a perfect time in my life. Every day the reading was something I need to hear. I will be re-reading this book over and over as I'm sure I will continue to gain insight when I do. I plan to continue saying the declarations in the beginning of the book, so they get down deep in my spirit. I'm grateful that this book came into my life.
