The Secret of Brimley Manor 3* 3/27/24 & 3/29-4/3/24 (141) Cherringham #34 struggled a lot to follow the story, so I read it and listened to it at the same time second time around
Too Many Lies 3* 5/2/24 (119) Cherringham #35 again read the ebook while listening to the audiobook; audiobook edition has an additional epilogue (compared with the ebook edition)
Murder under the Sun 3* 5/3/24 (117) Cherringham #36 again read the ebook while listening to the audiobook, interesting twist with the dual time line
I'm dismayed to find that I've come to the end of the Cherringham compilations! Hopefully #37-39 will be released soon in audiobook format. This set of 3 stories was more of the usual fare for Jack and Sarah, and I enjoyed each of the stories as always. The last one was a bit more dark and gritty than many of the other stories, which was a somewhat surprising exposure to the seedy underbelly of life in Cheltenham. It will be interesting to see how things go with Chloe taking on a role in Sarah's business. I enjoy how the ongoing relationships with Sarah and her kids, and the other cast of Cherringham characters, continue to evolve with this series.
