Even the killer of kings can’t hide from love forever… Boss’s underground empire has a ruthless reputation for getting the job done. He’s at the top of his game, has more money than he could ever spend, and is feared by his enemies. Then why does his life feel so empty? He decides he needs more challenges, so he puts his energy into new contracts while investigating why innocent people around his city are dropping dead by the dozens. Graciella made a huge mistake and needs to remedy the problem. To finance her mission, she’s forced into a lifelong debt to a madman. Still, she’s more worried about Boss finding out what she’s done. He’s known for doling out swift, brutal justice, and she’s already on his shit list. They’re forced to team up to find the men behind an evil plot, or one of the Killer of King’s men may not come out alive. Graciella wants to clean up her mess and disappear—but Boss won’t let her slip away so easily. He demands more from her than she’s capable of giving. Not all girls deserve the happily ever after.
Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound. She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.
I had some trouble with my rating.. i enjoyed the book I wish I loved it more since I've been dying for boss...
These two are veryyyy cat mouse with one another and sometimes i forget who's who lol. Since they both know how to push eachother buttons. And boy does Graciella love to push Boss's button. And for some reason I thought Graciella would be a better killer?? She wasn't as great as she thinks she is. She kept getting bested by Boss like girl.. but i did enjoy how she never back down and tried to correct her mistakes. Hands down to ya girl. As for Boss he was a okay guy still mysterious since well we don't know his real name ever.. he was hot and cold to me but he's always 10 steps ahead of anyone. I do wish he didnt play lots of games.
Low angst, tiny ow/om drama (they hoth were on dates for missions), Drama, secondary charas, sexy times, no virgins both talked about their past (boss was mentioned a manwhore)

Readers have been waiting for this story and it didn't disappoint! Graciella had a horrific childhood and because of that, it has turned her into what she is today. She is the perfect match for Boss and even though she doesn't want him, she can't stop herself from letting him have her. Boss is trying to figure out who is responsible for the bad drugs on the street when he comes across Graciella. Two broken souls but can they heal each other? There are secrets, there's drama and some twists and turns. This is a page turner of a book and well worth waiting for! Both authors did a wonderful job.
I am in love with this couple they are amazing and explosive together made laugh and made me cry. And it hit me I think it end with Boss? Man I want more.
What a totally amazing book!! These two authors are so talented!! I can't wait for the next book to come out! A definite must read!! Happy Reading!!! :)
Well, well well…. Boss did know about Graciella and where she was along with who she was. Graciella aka Widow Maker as well as El Diablo/Xavier’s sister is a hitwoman. This changes the field for Boss. When she contacts Viko, things heat up. She tempts him with not only her body but with her ability to fight and take down those that are a threat. Graciella sees Boss as a PITA. But she has to keep hiding her emotions about Boss as well. These two are so perfect. When a drug on the streets is killing people, she knows the mark and what it has to be. This one is a major race. All the men of Killer of Kings are in this one. And we also have an issue with Scarlett and Bain. It’s a race to stop the drugs from killing more innocent lives. Graciella also has to learn to open up and trust. She has been alone too long. She needs Xavier and Boss to help her find herself. Boss needs her to ground him. I think with all of his men finding love, he is overdue. This would be a fun hook up since Boss and Xavier tend to are at odds.
Wow, the formidable owner/Assassin Boss has fallen for the Widow Maker fast! He just wanted to recruit her for his business, but played the best games with him the cat and mouse game and it was epic. He didn't know what to do with her, some days he wants to kill her, some he wants to do her like nobody's business 😂😂they're perfect for each other, I don't know if this is the last book in the Killer Of Kings or not (hopefully not) but these authors did a phenomenal job.🤍🤍🤍
I have waited for Boss to get a book for what feels like forever!! And it didn't dissapoint. I absolutely loved it and I hope we'll get more books! We were introduced to a few more KoKs in this book which opens up for more books. So I'm crossing fingers!
This is the latest installment in the Killer of Kings Series. Boss, is the top leader of this group of assassins. Our girl is a bad bitch killer herself. She gives Boss a run for his !money, but he soon catches up with her and together they begin to come together. I loved this entire novel series, all are a great read!
Boss and Gabriella are both labeled as cold hearted killers. When together they fascinate each other and push each other like no one else dares. When she needs help and Boss discovers what happening can they trust each other to get to the bottom of what's happening?
This seemed superfluous to the series - Boss was the absolute dominant, unfeeling, organised killer. I couldn't imagine him being overwhelmed by any woman. I just couldn't be bothered finishing it. I liked the series as a whole, but it would have been better with both Xavier & Boss unpublished.
This was the best……what’s not to love about Boss falling flat on his face in love with Graciella! Graciella of course fiercely independent tries to deny her feelings for him. This is their journey. Loved it.
This book was nothing like the others of the killer of kings books. This book was rushed and the entire ending fell apart. Boss deserved a better book.
Two Dimensional. She didn't jump off the page as a 'Real' person to me. Some characters you click with, you know? But she just wasn't one of them. Boss, now he felt a little alive. But G....? Naw...
