Full of nice small projects to get you started and then gives you suggestions on how to combine and expand them. Layout of these books by Farshore are always really nice, just pleasant to flip though. Only issue is that the nice layout sacrifices the instruction, some of the angles make it hard to see where blocks are and often the type of block used is hidden in a paragraph of text. Also, my son couldn't get the airplane moving… though I may have to try that one again. If you have other books by Farshore, this one certainly goes well with them and a nice idea book to pick up.

Rated and reviewed but will still be going though this book for a while.

Not as detailed as I would like it to be and several of the builds use very light blocks where the placement isn't obvious, but cute and there are some good ideas. I was disappointed that the nether portal front and center on the cover isn't in the book, or rather, the portal itself is as part of the "Portal Toggle," but the surroundings aren't.

I made the Toadstool House and the Outdoor Amphitheater and will probably make the Creeper in the Woods when I have more time to decipher the various shades of green.

This book was very nice and built all the stuff in it, very fun!
Ps. Try to combine the arching mini game with the portal toggle.

I bought and read this to play Minecraft with my daughter who loves the game.

Very good little book, and I will read the others in these series to help her build her world.
