Good Read

This was a good book. These characters were something else and then some. Church people like these man oh man!!! They were so messy and kept me with my mouth wide open, shaking my head. Kept me wondering and can't wait to see what's next. Good job Brandi Westry and Kandi Amore.

This was my first read by this author... I came across this book in a reading group... I will say that this book definitely has a lot of twist and lies that will have you trying to put a puzzle together... I did have a few issues with this book... It was constantly speaking in 1st and 3rd person and all in the same paragraph... So this kept throwing me off... Then Chapter 4 was suppose to be about Heaven but it is really about Zander... Pretty much with every chapter that I read although the chapter tells you who that chapter is suppose to be about... I quickly learned that this is not the case... Sometime I was lost and didn't know who was talking or who they were talking about... This book felt a little scattered... So at moments it was a little confusing... I feel like this book was not a smooth read because I feel like it jumped around a little to much... But I did like the storyline... and as I said before there was lots of lies and secrets so this kept me reading to see how it would all play out... Then just when I thought it was wrapping up... Nope another lie and secret came out... But wait... because this ending just got good... But now we have to check out part 2...
This book all starts with Zander and Memphis... They are kids and Memphis mother met a new man and their lives changed from there... But for the better... Not only for them but for Zander and his mother as well... Time quickly jumped and next thing I know Zander and Memphis aka Deacon Brown are married with families and running a mega church... But things do not always run so smooth for them... Especially because there is some snake moves being made behind their back...
There was so many moving parts that I did not know which way to look... Then these kids.. Well as the say the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree... The only question is, which tree did they fall from...
Did Memphis finally think about someone other than himself... Will Memphis and Zion finally be able to build a bond as father and son... Or is it to late... Will Heaven get it together before it is to late or will she lose it all including her life at the rate she is going... Will Diamond and Zion be able to live a happy life or will skeletons began to fall out of the closet... We will have to find out in part 2...

A Must Read!!

Talking about a rollercoaster ride. All the characters in this book was so messy. I must say you kept my interest in this book even though there was so much evil. I'm still shaking my head at the ending.

Church🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

This book went from one extreme to the next, lies, betrayal, scandalous affairs, deception. While im reading I'm constantly saying where's the lie because My God, My God these ladies wrote this book and showed all the hell in the pulpit.

Oh, oh shit that’s it Heaven! Work for this rock baby. Fuck you doing so good I might give you a little extra today.” Deacon coached egging her own even more as she sucked the skin off his dick.

“Please do that for me Deacon Brown. I need it so badly.” pleaded Heaven.

“Bitch keep doing your job, and I will see what I can do but you need to make me nut so I can get back into the church.” Deacon said trying to focus on his own sexual pleasure.

“Give me a few more minutes’ baby and for a bonus I’m going to swallow your seeds.” informed Heaven as she continued to bob her head up and down the shaft of his dick.

“Shit! Shit! I’m about to explode in your mouth. Here it come Heaven!” shouted Deacon Brown.

Heaven swallowed every drop and licked my dick clean. Damn Heaven ran through about two hundred dollars’ worth of cocaine a day.
