probably nothing is a compilation of essays written over the course of a year. They are separated by seasons and ages and places and are an attempt to explain universal human emotion in a way that is striking and breaking and connecting. It's about love and sex and change and the way seasons flow into one another until there isn't a difference between you or me or us, until all there is, is. These essays were written during a serious period of change in my life, after graduating from college, moving to a new city, and starting a full-time job. It covers themes like relationships and sexual abuse, being a mixed race person in the United States, and dealing with past trauma and new beginnings.
