Ruan Qiuqiu had transmigrated into a cannon fodder that had the same name as her in the novel, Sweet Pampering in Ancient Times: Demon King Husband, Please Spare Me
Right now, there were two paths before her:
Option 1: Continue playing the role of the supporting female character. After a few rounds of being faceslapped by the female lead, she would die tragically in the beast tide.
Option 2: For the sake of the tribe having enough salt, marry the wolf tribe’s former chief, a fierce wolf demon that was disfigured, crippled, and possibly had personality issues.
Ruan Qiuqiu chose the second option without hesitation. She rather go live a peaceful and ambitious-free life than compete with the female lead over some guy.

Due to a mishap, Mr. Big Bad Wolf, who had the blood of fiends in him, had become disfigured, crippled, and blind.
He was on the verge of death and his tribe had abandoned him. When he fell to the state of being so hungry that he was gnawing on ice…
The young bride, who his tribe had exchanged 300 catties of salt for, carefully walked to his side and covered his ugly damaged body with an animal hide.
Such fierce and intense love has saved two souls from the darkness and despair, which is enough.
The main character and the love interest, the soft-hearted villain, are so sweet and cute together. It's kinda like puppy love. They have no baggage/negative preconceived notions from previous relationships. I only liked that the main character and love interest mutually help and save each other and do thoughtful, little things for each other.
Also, for those who want to start to read this novel be mindful that this novel is kinda slow-paced for the first 100 chapters and then it’s started too fast-paced that I can’t stop finishing it in 1 day.
Honestly, if the ML and FL talked a few sentences more most of the relationship drama would never have happened. Not a bad story cuz the plot is actually good. The author just went a little heavy on the relationship drama. Can only handle so much internal monologuing and author-induced s*upidity.
The translation was decent !!! The story is a bit mundane so it emanates a cozy vibe in some parts. The slow burn was hott ngl. It's very main couple focused so sometimes it felt dull. But still their interactions r adorable 🥰. Even hand holding is erotic lmao. As for the plot, idk if it's the translation, but I found some plot holes here n there. Also, we only got to see the villains in the last chapters before they were defeated ???!😭 . Like bruh, the weakest villains ever. The buildup for the climax was little to none ngl . The climax too felt lacking. But I got what I wanted from the story. Just pure wholesomeness and nothing too intense. Also damn, the way Chinese authors write love stories 🫶🫶 I cried real hard when the mc reached a big revelation. It was heart shattering.. But happy ending so it's fine .
1. Transmigrated girl gets married off to injured wolfman, then proceeds to look after him and craft items and all that.
2. I really like this one. I just have such a thing for crafting and/or survival stories? And here it is accompanied by a sweet romance between two people who are trying their hardest to be nice and UGH I like it so much. Also, (a) the baby exiled wolves are the best and (b) I really want to see more of the bear clan because they are CLEARLY the only clan who are not assholes.
3. I'm less enthusiastic about whatever is happening with the villains, because what even is that. Still , it's definitely too early on in the book to judge that. For now the fact that I badly want more chapters to be release is good enough.
Five stars for the adorable romance between the MC and her demon villain who only has eyes for her. They are like the stuffed animals with magnetic lips that are attracted to each other. The movement and kiss is slow motion in this slow burn romance where their self esteems slow them from seeing the obvious mutual attraction. It is a relief when they finally discover the true thoughts of the other person.
It’s a rebirth story a bit different from the typical storyline which makes it interesting even with a slow romance. Definitely worth reading once if only to sigh with envy at the relationship.
Very cute and fluffy story! My heart kept hurting whenever they held hands and had their own little moments. The last 30 chapters were confusing once the plot changed, and it took awhile to understand what was going on. It is long and very slow burn, so if you like slow burns, this is perfect for you!
