When it comes to page lengths, 99% of the time I'll fault a book for being needlessly wordy and long. This book is the rare example of a book that is drastically underwritten and instead of being 182 pages, could have been a very good 360 page book. There was absolutely no character development, no scene setting, no raising of tension, etc.

This is very good read. A crime fiction that holds your attention with details and good story telling.

I read this book because it was said to be based upon a real murder in Knoxville. I’m sure the author had his reasons for changing names and places and calling it fiction, but I was hoping for more of a Bill Bass kind of read.
