Rate this book
I was hidden so we could be safe.
I survived so I could reclaim my life.
Now, everything has been destroyed by the same evil always lurking in the shadows.
Time is running out and my world keeps unraveling.
All I can do is put my trust in the boy with the messy blond hair, icicle eyes and lips that tell lies.
Can the Midwest Boys protect me?
The body count around town would suggest otherwise.

My job was simple. Keep her alive, make sure she follows the rules and keep her out of trouble.
I’ll win back her trust and keep her safe no matter what it costs me.
The girl with the purple hair and eyes that flare to life when I’m near are my undoing.
She used to be my enemy.
Now death and destruction are following her and loyalty has been stained by spilled blood.

MY #MNGIRL is the second full length book in A.M Brook's series. It picks up where the previous cliffy left off. Spoken in 'Third person Perspectives.'

Getting into this and watching the chapters pile up behind me I’m lulled into a false sense of security as that devastating ending of the previous book is left behind me, it's then that shock wave after shock wave hits me before I hit the finish line, spiking up my heart rate like an adrenaline junky as I raced to see how all this would end, with a body count increasing, warnings etched on bare skin, all kept me glued to my iPad throughout!

Loving the element of surprise this threw my way on more than one occasion and its books like this I seek out. Throw in that staggering cliffy and my middle finger was raised in the air, when yet again I'm falling down another cliffy making me craving that next book like nobody's business!!

Ciaran melted my stone cold heart, going from an a-hole we'd encountered in the first book to a guy head over heels in love with Saylor at the same time when things within Rouge were heating up, also whilst juggling to keep her safe, I loved seeing how much he'd evolved.

Saylor was tougher than I thought she was, so resilient when faced with so many bombs landed in her lap, as she's left reeling from what occurred within the first book, we had a front row seat as we watched her trying to keep her head above water when faced with so many emotional obstacles.

This series is beyond unique, it captivates you and pulls you in as soon as you start.

Action, suspense, steam and everything in between!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💚💙💜❤️🖤
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📘📗📕📙📓
World building: ☃️⛄️☃️⛄️☃️
Character development: 👩🏼‍🦰👱🏼‍♂‍🧑🏻👩🏽👦🏻

The setting: Savage Lakes, Minnesota

The Hero: Ciaran, a high school senior, works for his Uncle’s company Rogue. His job is to protect Saylor Torre.

The Heroine: Saylor, also in high school, her father is a criminal and when he took off with the money he stole, he put a target on his family (Saylor, her mother and younger sister). Saylor is hiding out at Rogue headquarters with Ciaran and his uncle Matt while her mother and sister were being moved elsewhere.

When I read #MNGirl I was very pleasantly surprised at the intricate plot, the awesome world building and fantastic character development. The one thing I was a bit up in the air about was the company, “Rogue” which seemed a bit too much to be believed. It was portrayed as a sort of witness protection program but was run by Matt and his parents and grandparents before him. So a family run witness protection business. It didn’t really ring true, but in this book we got more explanation on the business and it makes it all more believable.

“Rogue has created a society built on the idea of protecting those who are not safe anywhere else. We have hubs all over the country, and we have extensive training in military combat, surveillance, and cyber warfare. It’s why we excel the way we do. It’s why the United States government gives us the cases they know no one other that Rogue can handle. When witness protection isn’t enough, the government reaches out to us. Rogue is well-oiled machine that leaves nothing to chance and has a contingency plan for all situations.”

In this book the romance between Saylor and Ciaran heats up quite a bit. This is not a young adult romance, though these characters are in high school they could easily be in a job setting or in college and have a very similar plot. The romance is super steamy and the characters deal with extremely tough situations. Ciaran and his friends carry guns and take the protection of their targets and each other very seriously.

I am really enjoying the plot, and all the characters. I can’t wait to see what happens with Ciaran’s friends Kai and Silas. Kai is getting to know Saylor’s best friend from New York and it looks like a romance is brewing between them. But Silas is a dark horse and broody as well. He grew up with the mistaken impression that Saylor’s mother ruined his parents marriage. Though he recently found out it was actually his mother that ruined his father and Saylor’s mother’s relationship. She also did some awful things before leaving. So Silas is coming to terms with that and slowly becoming a more likable guy. I can’t wait to see who he ends up with and hopefully that will be as good a story as this one.

This book was the end of Saylor and Ciaran’s story and Silas’ story is next. I thought this ended a bit abruptly, but I am sure the next book will take off right where this one left off just like this one did from the first book. I can’t wait to find out what happens next!

I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

Woh woh woh…hold on a damn minute!
I am not a happy girl right now.
I know I sound like a brat but I didn’t expect it to end on such a massive cliffhanger ok?

But besides that, My #MNGirl by A.M. Brooks is ❤️🔥(There are moments in life when only emojis can express what I’m feeling).

My #MNGirl was such a page turner. I didn’t realise that I was already at the end of the book until that cliffhanger …I may have screamed my frustration.
This book is suspenseful, absolutely thrilling and yes, it is sexy. There is no doubt that the chemistry between the characters are off the charts hot. It was also so adventurous and was filled with so much suspense and mystery…I was loving each and every moment of it.

I cannot wait to read more.

FYI…that cover model though 😍

Very action packed and every scene was necessary. Nothing felt drawn out and boring. Fresh and full of love. Though so many questions remains unanswered! I’ll be following up for the next books.

My #MNGirl picks up right after that heart-wrenching ending in book 1, but do not think for a second that the author gives you a break, hell no, she throws you back into the fray, and Gawd help you because she will not.

The constant surprises at every turn of the pages, the darkish twists, and the feeling that you do not know what you in for was my total cup of tea. I do not know what you will think when you read this book, but in my opinion, this series has a unique storyline, the angst, the feelings, the friendships, and the passion are on another level—addictive as hell.

And while Say and Ci's story concludes in this book, we are still left with some questions, and with the happiness that this is not going to be the last we see about them.

Let me tell you that it is possible for the next book in a series to be so much fucking better than the first one. I did not think it was possible, but A.M. Brooks made it happened! And now, I have no idea what to do with myself. I will be not so patiently waiting for the next books.

An edgy, original, thrill ride that will have you turning the pages, desperate to see how it ends. A.M. Brooks has created a world that I don't want to leave, so please join me in this new obsession, and let's get lost in the Rogue world.

Thank you Netgalley and A.M. Brooks for the incredible ride ♥.

This book was one of my highly anticipated sequels and I was not disappointed in the least.

Thank you to A.M. Brooks, The Next Step PR and NetGalley for my gifted advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Picking up directly where #MNGirl leaves off, we are thrown right back into the pain of the ending of that book. Saylor is reeling from the devastating news. Not only that, but she is still coming to terms with the strong feelings she has for Ciaran after he was so mean to her, publicly and privately.

Ultimately, the relationship is strong between the two and it is so beautiful. We get so much in this book. More Rogue, more Ciaran and Saylor, and much more action. Now, dead bodies are showing up, carved with messages for Rogue. And new bits of important information are introduced when Saylor has to travel back home New York.

This was such a great conclusion of Saylor and Ciaran's story. And, while there are some questions answered in this one, so many more are asked, leaving me on the edge of my seat as I wait for what comes next

AM Brooks has once again done a PHENOMENAL job!! Her writing style is amazing that is easy to read and you are never questioning if you are understanding something. I am blown away every time I read one of her books.

This book is another reason why I love this series so much! Its thrilling, suspenseful, but heartwarming and loving all at the same time. The mystery aspect of this book is like no other. There are so many twists and turns you aren't sure what is gonna happen next. The romance just adds to the drama that is happening all around them. I always have a hard time writing reviews when I love a book so much and this one is just the same.

The characters got even better. Ciaran is so amazing! His character growth is one of the strongest I've seen. From his broody alpha, he changes into a loving head over heals guy in love. He has to deal with the twist and turns of the occurrences in Rouge all while protecting Saylor. Saylor is the strong, willing to protect the people she loves throughout the entire book. She struggles with trying to adjust to her new life each day because a new interaction comes to her. She remains strong and tough against it all while trying to make things safe again for her and her loved ones. The connection between the two is intense. You can feel the sparks that radiate between the two while reading. I totally love them together. The supporting characters are just as great. Silas and Kai, Ciaran's best friends, are just completely lovable. Kia is the goofball that is the balance between serious and easy going. Silas, he is most brooding character in this series. This book you get to se Silas in a new way and he relaxes some and isn't as serious and broody. Matt, Jason, and Molly are the amazing adults that keep Rouge together, they play a very important part. You also meet so new characters who play critical parts in the book.

Everything about this series has been perfection, whether it be the covers, the story, the characters, all the way down to the book playlist, its simply perfect! I recommend everyone reading this. You do have to read book 1 #MNGirl before this book though, but that book is a just as amazing as this one.

Copy received from The Next Step PR and I am reviewing it voluntarily and objectively.

My #MNGirl is the sequel and ending to Ciaran and Saylor’s story. Which is unfortunate because these two warm my heart so much, but I do look forward to what the author gives us next in this wonderful series.

While a great book, I didn’t find this one as enjoyable as #MNGirl. I suppose because Saylor and Ciaran are together now, so there’s no angst and building storyline; just cuteness. On this note though, the author does a fantastic job with these two. I find they have just enough heat between the two of them to satisfy a reader within the sex scenes, but not enough to be considered erotica, which really wouldn’t fit with the other genres. Ciaran’s protectiveness of her is just perfect, and they challenge each other and engage with one another in ways that work for them. Saylor isn’t a Mary Sue by any means. Ciaran is protective, but not annoying. He lets her do things, and keeps a lot of his protective thoughts internal. Really, can there be a more perfect romance couple?

This one involves Saylor finding a new normal, Ciaran continuing his building work with Rogue, and them figuring out how to navigate a relationship within it all.

All in all, a great book and I am eager for #SummerGirl.

I was given this ARC for a honest review and I am grateful for the opportunity to read this series by A. M. Brooks. MY#MNGirl picks up right where #MNGirl left off with Ciaran and Saylor learning to trust and love each other with all the intense events and tragedies all around them. It was fun to watch the comradery amongst the four friends once Kai and Silas excepted Saylor, even becoming protective of her. There was suspense, intrege, adventure, romance and sex, what more could you want in a book. Two new characters were introduced in this book which made the intrgue all the more interesting and left you wondering where these characters will fit into the next book. There were some disclosures at the end of the book that had you taking a breath and saying, "WOW". My#MNGirl was very well written, kept you engaged throughout and like the first book left you out on a cliff hanging, wanting more and waiting for the third book to arrive.

Holy good mother of all.....wow!!!

#MNGirl was my first book by this author and I loved it - I even went back for a re-read before starting this one and oh jeez, A.M.Brooks smashed it!!!

Although at the start of the last book, the Midwest Boys annoyed me, they soon redeemed themselves! And in this book?....damn I want me a Midwest Boy!!!!
Saylor/Ariel is such a kickass, strong and sassy chick - she rocks and I love her!!!

The storyline is unique and I seriously seriously loved it, I was completely gripped from the very first page, right up until 'The End'! Everything was just perfect, the attraction, the friendships, the betrayal, the action, even the sexy scenes - all just plain perfect!

So can't wait for more....

This Book is the second part of the series by A.M. Brooks. Told in third person's perspectives , This book was thrilling ride for me!

After the disastrous cliffy of the first book , I was so eager to jump straight into this one! and what a book this one was !

The characters were definitely a lot different from what they were in the first book. Saylor was trying to keep her head above water after the sort of stuff that has happened to her . My heart really hurt for her , but at the same time I loved her bravery and courage ! then there was Ciaran!

I loved seeing him turn into a more more gentle person than the Raving asshole he was in the first book! I loved the way he handled saylor and never missed an opportunity to show her how much he loved her!

And then the end came and I left reeling again with another cliffy!! how am supposed to survive now! But in true A.M. Brooks style I know this author is going to make the wait of the third book worth it!! Definitely recommended to all the Dark romance / Bully romance lovers out there!

What a thrilling ride! Book two picks right up where book one left off and you are immersed into the world of Rogue.

Saylor has been left with the tragic news of her mother and sister. She has to find her new normal in a world where everyone is on edge and nothing feels safe but the arms of Ciaran.

Ciaran was trained for Rogue life and his future is Rogue, so how come all he can see now is Saylor? His only mission is to keep her safe, but at what cost?

"She kept her crown on top of her purple head, even when dealing with me."

Together Saylor and Ciaran find life's twist and turns pulling at every fiber of their livelihood. Surviving is Ciaran's goal, but loving her was unplanned and unexpected.

"It's not a nice kiss or even an "I miss you kiss; it's a "we belong together kiss, a "I can't breathe without you kiss."

Pick up this rollercoaster of a ride today!

Instant love - although I want to love her and hate her all at the same time!!! OH MY FREAKING GAWD!
This book is extraordinary. The best continuation of the Midwest Boys series A.M. Brooks has delivered such an amazing read with My #MNGirl.
I absolutely adore Saylor while not being able to get enough of the boys amusing personalities and their protective ways.

There is definitely more than meets the eye with these characters as their story unravels. If you haven’t started this series you really need to with book one, #MNGirl.

This comes highly recommended.

The Midwest Boys is fast becoming one of my all time favorite New Adult romance series. It’s got drama, intrigue, murder, hot chemistry, witty and sarcastic banter for days, and just a touch of sweet.

The first book left me absolutely fucking SHOOK. And while I saw the cliffhanger coming this time, it didn’t make it any less shocking. I’m all in my feels right now and want the answers but I’ll wait.

While the first book is a take on the bully trope, this one is obviously way more focused on building a relationship between Ciaran and Saylor. She’s also continuing to build her friendships with Winter, Kai, and Silas. I appreciated the dual POV we get and I enjoyed reading both Saylor’s and Ciaran’s perspectives.

I loved her character growth. She has truly bloomed into a strong and confident young woman even after the hell she has been through. Her world has been turned upside down and destroyed more than once and to see her still pick herself up and continue forward was amazing to witness. This group of teenagers aren’t like the “normal” teens I see in NA and I think that’s why I like it so much. Sure we still get to see them do teen things like go to school and prom (that scene was adorable btw) but that is such a small part of their lives. They have a serious job and they absolutely take responsibility and treat it as such. Sorry but I can’t stand typical high school drama *rolls eyes* I didn’t like it in high school and I don’t enjoy reading about it now.

I wanted book two to bring me closure and answers which it did to some degree. What I wasn’t expecting was the hope it would leave me with. And hope can be a scary thing sometimes....

I’m really interested for book three which will be Silas’ book. That boy is moody and unreadable most of the time. So I’m anxious to get inside his head.

Steaminess 3 stars

Saylor & Ciaran are still finding their way but tragedy is in store for her along with some hard decisions. Lots of twists & secrets unravelling, things not as expected with this installment.

WHHHATTTTT? This series just gets more and more murky as we go along, but in the best ways. The twists and turns keep me flipping the pages, and the revelations have me shouting my emotions.
Character development between book 1 & 2 is unreal. When I tell y’all that these characters have GROWN, it’s not an exaggeration. These MidWest boys did not come to play with anyone, they are here, and they are letting us all know.
My heart continues to bleed for Saylor, her life is an epic mess of almost unfixable proportions, but the girl is a champ, taking so much in stride.

I’m ready for our #SummerGirl, I think more will come to light, and hopefully take some of the edge off this cliffy.

Intriguing, suspenseful and sexy... and oh my word- so so steamy!!

I thought #MNGirl was all the things but A.M. Brooks blew it all to pieces and My #MNGirl takes top place, giving a new definition to mind-blowing Romantic Suspenseful Thriller.

𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙢𝙚 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙄’𝙢 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙗𝙮𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙢𝙚.

Saylor has really grown into herself- it took the most horrific set of events for her to find her true self.

I seriously couldn’t love Ciaran anymore- his protectiveness towards Saylor made my heart swell and threatened to drown me. I freakin love their love!

𝘽𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙨 𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚. 𝙎𝙖𝙮𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚. 𝙄 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙪𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚.

AM Brooks is a master plotter and it is so easy to crawl into her masterfully crafted web. The threats to Rogue comes in wave after wave, from all directions with hardly a moment to recover- heart racing mind-blowing suspense and plot twist after plot twist!!

I wasn’t prepared for this ending even though I had theories up my sleeve. I remain trapped in this inescapable web so I’ll have accept HEA for now until the upcoming instalments in this series. I’m beyond excited for more of the Midwest boys!!

And absolute MUST READ book rec for 2020!!

My #MNGirl is book two in A.M. Brooks 's new action-packed Midwest Boys series! This series just gets better and better! If you thought book one, #MNGirl , was jaw-dropping, you haven't seen anything yet! If you are looking for a page-turner that you can NOT put down (ya'll aren't ready for all these plot twists), then this series is it!!! This is going to be a quick review because it would just be wayyy to easy to slip out spoilers soooo, with that being said, don't forget this IS a series, NOT standalone so #MNGirl must be read first.

My #MNGirl picks up where #MNGirl left off. The crew is all reeling after receiving devastating news and Saylor's world has once again been turned upside down. Only this time around, she has the support of the boys...especially Ciaran. But now that a threat is even closer than they could have ever imagined everyone is on high alert.

The boys, *SIGH* I can't get over how much things have changed this time around and how protective they are of Saylor especially Ci I love that his caveman tendencies are at an all-time high in My #MNGirl . The steamy scenes between Ciaran and Saylor are SMOKING HOT but I like that there's JUST enough steam and that it doesn't completely overwhelm the story and take away from the suspense.

We got a little more of an in-depth view into the goings-on of Rogue this time around too and I loved the few chapters that we had from Matt's POV, I'd love even more from him honestly... Matt and Erika's story is one that I would surely snatch up!

A.M. Brooks is a fabulous writer and I love that she steps outside of the box and tries to come up with ORIGINAL stories instead of the tried and true but re-used stories over and over again. She came up with a "bully romance" (which I love and is sooo popular right now) BUT she gave it enough of a twist that it's completely ORIGINAL. Plus she uses words like "fuckeduppedness", what's not to love?!

Although Saylor and Ciaran's story is "over", there is still sooo much more of the story left to be discovered and questions to be answered so you can expect more from the other Midwest Boys. I can't wait for more of Silas in #SummerGirl!

Oh my goodness, you guys are not prepared for that ending!!!

This author totally got me with #MNGirl (Midwest Boys 1), that book blows my mind off. It was everything and more and she tightened the story with a cliffhanger that keeps me counting the days for the release of book #2 (My #MNGirl), and guess what, I wasn’t disappointed at all.

This book is full of theories crossing my mind with everything that happened in Rogue, so many twists and turns of things from the past that definitely is affecting the people in the present. Things related to Ciaran and Saylor finally looking good and the heat between this two is been released with some very hot scenes in bed( oh my, I’m fanning my self here, Lol) and some romantic details (sometimes this boys melted and become like those cute and snuggled stuffed bears).

There’s some secrets that got revealed and surprise me because I never saw it coming, and then the ending left me with a big open eyes, mouth and thinking “now what”? It can’t end like this, Ashton can be this cruel with us, right?

There’s more books to come and for sure all the questions and things that hasn’t been clarified and brining to light needs to be on the next book, that’s where my hope is. So many theories rounding my mind and I can’t wait for the next book, which may be, or not be about Ci and Say ;) my mouth is zipped now :)

So just to finish with my chatting and thinking over here I’ll say that this author knows how to keeps you attach to every line in this book, with the twist and turns, the suspense on some situations only adds more reasons to maintain the interests on the story and find out how will everything turns out at the end.

Thank you to the author, Netgalley and The Next Step PR for providing an advance copy, I voluntarily given my honest review.

MY #MNGirl continues from where the first book in the series left off. The story was still focused on Saylor and Ciaran and It was action-packed, intense and such an awesome emotional ride.

Saylor is still in hiding, but after a tragic event involving her mother and little sister, the situation she finds herself in becomes even more dangerous. Her father's enemies are lurking in the shadows, ready to strike at any moment, and there might be a traitor inside Rogue, the organization that fights to protect her. But one thing's for sure, she's now part of the family and Ciaran will do anything to keep her safe.

Told from dual pov, full of twists and turns, with fast-paced action, dangerous and angsty situations but also hot encounters between the protagonists, this book had me enthralled until the very end. There is also a lot of character development, we got to see Saylor and Ciaran grow as a couple. Their relationship was even more intense, they were electric together. I love the strength Saylor has shown, despite constantly being in danger she pulled herself together and showed a tougher side. And seeing Ciaran lowering his walls and opening up to her was heartwarming. He would do anything to protect Saylor and keep her out of harm's way. I was completely enamoured by him. While this book was the end of Saylor and Ciaran's story, I am sure we'll continue to see them in the next instalments of the series. I'm very excited to see how Silas's story will unravel and what new dangers the team will have to face.

For me, this story was a page-turner, I was captivated from the beginning of book one and I highly recommend the series to everyone who loves suspenseful romances.

*Many thanks to the author and The Next Step PR for the free e-arc in change for my honest review.

This series has been one of my favorite discoveries of 2020. I am 100% involved in the outcome of the mysteries that are unfolding and these characters. In the first book, I was worried about the age of the characters but this definitely did not hinder the story. The author was masterful in being able to hone in on the happenings of High School while also making the characters not be TOO immature or mature. I think she is able to do that because of the background of what these characters have been through, and are also currently experiencing, due to what Rogue really is in all of their lives.

The book picks up where the last one left off, and my heart hurt. I felt the emotions in every one of these characters. I loved watching Cy and Saylor grow within their relationship. Again, there were times I completely forgot their age until something in their life environment reminded me of it. The book continues with the mysteries and so many questions are answered. However, just when one mystery is solved another one springs up. There were a couple of them at the end of this book that definitely paved the way for the next book in the series that will star a new main character. I am 100% on board for that book.

My only real complaint was that even though the book paved the way for what is coming, it was just a meh way, in my opinion, to end the duet of Cy and Saylor. I am sure they will be seen again in the future and I hope when they are that I get a better look into their future. Plus side, I loved getting to see a few chapters from Matt's point of view, especially, since he has been so instrumental in this whole story.

My #MNGirl
By: A.M. Brooks

REVIEW ☆☆☆☆
I loved #MNGirl, the first book, and My #MNGirl did not disappoint. This book picks up where the first left off, and there are tragic circumstances. Saylor and Ci further cement the chemistry between them, but nothing is ever easy. There are twists, turns drama, love, hope, all meshing to create a well balanced and insightful story. Although I liked this story just slightly less than the first, it was fantastic with all the feels. I won't give anything away, but I'm a bit sad that some people and situations are pretty much wrapped up in the end. I know, however, that there are more great things in store and more characters to love in the next book, #summergirl. I highly recommend this series, and I think it is best to read the books in order.

Holy wow, okay. My #MNGirl picks up where we left off in #MNGirl and it does not let up at all. Ciaran, Silas, Kai, and the rest of the crew are left reeling with the tragedy that just unfolded, and no one more so than Saylor. But that girl? She’s a survivor. A fighter. Her world got turned upside down, in the worst way, and yet, she finds a way to put one foot in front of the other... and who do they take her to?

Ciaran, of course.

Ci steps up in a huge way in the book not only for Rogue, but especially for Say. There’s so much more action happening and there are threats circling them, but he puts Saylor first, making sure his girl has what she needs. He takes care of her, protects her, and loves her so fiercely. We really see how solid the relationship is between these two and that they are truly endgame.

AM Brooks did another fantastic job of delving deeper into the twisted web of Rogue and this world. I fell more in love with the Midwest Boys, with Saylor, and even Matt and Jason. She takes you through an emotional wringer and does so in beautiful fashion.

I will say, though, that this book did rather abruptly. I had a moment of checking to make sure I had all my chapters and wasn’t missing anything, it was that abrupt. We get so many answers in this book, but we’re still left with plenty of questions as we get ready for #SummerGirl. I am still super excited about this series and can’t wait to read more about Silas and Kai!
