He has many tastes and writes the books he would want to read. Gave a nice reprieve and escape from the craziness of the Covid world and helped stem the tide of missing out on the end of the 2019 college basketball season. Interesting characters, good pacing, and held my attention. Maybe had to turn my nit-picky brain off for a moment or two but I get the artistic liberties of changing a few things from the real world conference affiliation to make the story that much better. Appropriate for Teener/young adults and doesn't lean too heavy or go over your head if you don't know basketball very well. Would definitely recommend for anybody that can guilty pleasure a chick flick or enjoys other novels in the Twilight/50 Shades/Hunger Games/etc. realm
