Westgate: A Nick Marino Mystery
Nick Marino used to be a cop. And still was. Sort of. After being put on indefinite unpaid leave for beating a child molester half to death, Nick has to take a job as a security guard in the Uber-rich neighborhood of Westgate in Newport Beach, California. True to form, Nick sleeps with one of the local cougar housewives, and after the third time, finds her hanging in her kitchen. Nick was not a great cop and a worse detective, but he has a strong suspicion that this was not a suicide.

I received a copy of this book in return for my honest review of it.
I though that this was a well written book, one that could keep hold of my attention and one that I enjoyed reading. This is definitely my genre for reading as its something I can read and get stuck into, this is definitely one of these books.
The storyline of the book is kept too through out the novel which I much prefer rather than keeping going off on tangents. The character of Nick is one that I definitely like and one that I enjoy going through the journey with. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys this genre, a joy to read
