As a young child Tyler grew up as an orphan because her parents were killed in a tragic accident. At 25 she was contacted by a lawyer saying her parents home was left to her it’s a she decided to move there. The first day there she met Nadine her neighbor and a childhood friend she did not remember on her first night there strange things started happening and eventually she would see an evil jester, demon dogs and a tall shadowy woman. Just to name a few she would hear her name being called knocks on the wall your typical haunting until one night she couldn’t take it anymore and she went to Nadine‘s house. Eventually Nadine called her friend Sarah and said she would help but could she? OK let me just say usually when a house is haunted the book they always give the reasons why it was haunted maybe from the ancient curse on evil ghost to don’t want to let go ET see there was none of that in this book and although I thought the ending the little twist at the end was brilliant I just wish the book would’ve been written in the same vein. It was just mainly her being haunted her neighbor Nadine who she didn’t remember I just was very disappointed it was like a meal with no meat. I did think the ending as I said was a great twist but the story just seems so generic. When you write a story I thought you were the answer Hawái when and where and the Y was never answered. After the first few pages, I knew this was a book I wasn’t going to be able to put down, until I got to The End. If you like dark, absolutely unpredictable, twisted, raise-the-hair-on-the-back-of-your-neck type of suspense as much as I do, you can't go wrong with this book!

Taylor returns to her home and instantly experiences vivid nightmares. These nightmares cross over to the real world and Taylor has to make excuses for her injuries, even to convince herself her nightmares are not normal. The horror elements are shown well in the descriptions of the story. This is a very quick read.
