This is book #2 of "Em's Secret" and the continuation of Emily and Rick's story. Even though Rick and Emily haven't seen or spoken to each other for two years, Rick still yearns for Emily near him. When Emily finds herself in New York because of a job transfer, he knows that he can now protect Emily from Scott. But also Rick realizes that he needs to come clean as to who Scott is to him. Will Rick be able to save Emily from Scott, when Scott still wants answers about the accident that caused Pamela's death? Hard wrenching decisions will need to be made between Emily and Rick. Even though Rick has said that he loves Emily, he still won't lean on her to release his inner pain and turmoil. Readers beware, this is another roller coaster of emotions of love, heartache, suspense, and revenge that this author was able to get all the feelings spot on. Enjoy yourself because I have a feeling book #3 will blow our minds!

Another win for Emily Foxx. The story flowed beautifully and the characters are easy to relate to. You will join them on a roller coaster ride of emotions and the ending will have you on the edge of your seat. I definitely recommend this book and author.
