The title made this sound like it was gonna be an interesting series but right here, this part of the series here... It gets weird.
Please can I get a couple Manga isekai series that doesn't veer off into weird harem fetish territory? Normally in the weird harem fetish series, the main character is a dude surrounded by females. This book series is a female main character surrounded by other females. So this series is slightly different there. If you are looking for yuri isekai harem pulp fiction/dime novel, look no further.
Another fun volume from I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level! I like how this manga is able to have high stakes drama but continues to be funny and positive all throughout. I’ll never read it and feel upset over the drama, but it is able to create tension without dampening the mood. The cast also seemed to expand in this volume and for that… I am glad. The growing cast pushes Halkara out of the spotlight, which I am grateful for. She’s a likable side character but I’ve already had enough of her being anything more than that. I also like how the manga doesn’t forget about the cast even when adding in new members. The mangaka continuously recycles them for new gags or plot points, as can be seen now with Falfa and Shalsa.
I'm yet to fall in love with this series, although I will say it's still a good read but that's all I feel when I'm reading it, no real excitement to what's coming next cause it seems all so predictable but I still do want to continue, one of the main reasons why is the characters being fun & quite adorable so that will keep me engaged for a while, hopefully there will be some big development that makes me fall in love with this series!
With a manga like this, you expect nothing but relaxed slice of life cuteness and this volume delivers that in droves! The artwork is bubbly and cute and fit the characters well. Highly recommended!
I am aware that I'm not the intended audience, but man, these are starting to get boring. I guess that if I enjoyed the anticipation of fan service they would probably be more interesting. But I do not. And so here my journey ends.
