Nameless is the ghoulish first book in The Mortal Dead supernatural thriller series. If you like sarcastic protagonists, spine-tingling foes, and twists and turns that keep you guessing, then you’ll love David Delaney’s fast-paced chiller.Buy Nameless to tame your spirits today!"It's got a Sixth Sense meets Ghostbusters with a small dash of James Bond vibe."
David Delaney has been telling stories since he was a little kid. Of course, many of those early stories were told to get him out of whatever trouble he had gotten himself into. (But if his mom is reading this, he never lied – honest.)
As an adult, David continued telling stories, but a specialized kind of story called - The Television Promo (basically the TV show version of a movie trailer). If little kid David had known that grown up David would spend his days working on hit shows such as The Simpsons, 24 and Bones he would have totally spazzed out.
Now, David continues his joy of storytelling with the Paragon Society, a supernatural thriller series wherein battle mages and shapeshifters clash with people-eating-demon-women (among other nasties) over the fate of the Human race.
Danny is a Seer, he sees the ghost that live on the same plane as us humans & can communicate with them. His best friend is Gail & they have a great business arrangement going on before, Cassie. Cassie & her associates are hunting demons, but Danny doesn't believe in them. However, they trap both him & Gail, which is supposed to be impossible, to get him to help. This has great characters, it's fast paced, full of excitement, and keeps the reader entertained. What are you waiting for? Get it & start reading.. Recommend
If you haven't read his previous series, you should! The characters in all of his books are likeable and draw you in, this new series is no different in that aspect. I really liked Danny and Gwen is a riot, I look forward to seeing what this group gets up to in the following books. A totally different story than his Orson series but equally entertaining😉
This is a very interesting take on ghosts and demons. The main character is a thief who owes his success due to his ability to see and affect ghosts. While bringing in knock offs of a certain group of rich sisters waa a bit of allies, the overall story is enjoyable and it will be interesting to see the tech and supernatural growth of the characters.
I really like David Delaney's other series. I decided to try this one and was pleasantly impressed. A somewhat different take on the supernatural that shows promise. Will definitely continuenreading.
I've read all of David's books and each one brings a new and interesting aspect to the supernatural/paranormal! His books aren't very long but are crammed full of interesting characters and bad guys along with fast driven plots with spooky and exciting action.
I Have followed this author since the book orson an his new character is no less awesome! I like the fact he is not so squeaky clean an you see him mature as the book progresses.
Characters were very relatable and the writing is intriguing and keeps you wondering what's next. Loved the characters if Danny with his control of the dead. While not physically overpowered and seems to go with the flow is nice to have a protagonist that's fairly normal and had made decisions that anyone in his shoes would probably make. I look forward to more if this series and hope it'll tie into the paragon society but will still be reading without the connection.
