Loyalty Honor Two traits I prided myself on. I’d take a bullet for any single one of my Knights Corruption brothers. In fact, I had—two to be exact. I believed in codes, following them without question. But everything shifted the first time I saw her, a gorgeous and classy redhead who was out of my league. She also happened to be the daughter of a fellow member, therefore completely off-limits. He warned me to keep my distance, but I couldn’t stay away. When the war with the Savage Reapers escalated, I assumed the role of her protector. I remained glued to her side whenever possible. I made her promise not to go anywhere without my protection. But she broke that promise. And the consequences ripped my world apart. Would I be able to hold it together long enough to help finally put an end to the war between our clubs once and for all? Or would I crumble under the weight of my own devastation?
I'm an indie author who grew up with a love of reading and a very active imagination, never putting pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard until 2013.
I typically write romantic suspense, as I love stories with some twists and turns. I also love my HEA, although the road to get there is quite the journey.
Was going just okay until at around 30% when something completely out of nowhere happened. I have read almost all of this author's books, and she's one I can count on with overprotective, overly possessive heros, almost always safe books, little OW drama, and just the right amount of plot and romance. She also writes sex scenes, but not the erotica free-for-all type, so I usually know what to expect.
Not only has this series been a disappointment already, but this book obliterated whatever trust I had leftover from the crapfest Kaden was (it was actually laughable seeing how much he would obsess over his heroine here, and yet he still had no problem with them breaking up the first time and him moving on with several OW in his own book) Some people might not care or think it's a problem if they aren't familiar with this author's works as much, but there was absolutely zero warning in the book or from the author, it came from literally absolutely nowhere. No hints, no talk of it, nothing, except right before the scene actually happened when they start randomly talking about them enjoying threesomes in the past. So when the FFM threesome scene came up, I was pretty shocked, and not in a good way. I don't know if the author was bored of how she has been writing sex scenes lately or something, but this is not how to go about it in a more plot-romance centered book. Maybe more of an erotica, but not a book like this. It actually seemed a bit deceptive.
Adding onto that, it wasn't even a good sex scene. It seemed too forced, and how it was brought up with no warning seemed more like it was for shock value, and it just completely ruined whatever lackluster romance they had for the rest of the book, furthering my opinion on this series being a disappointment. It doesn't make it okay that the heroine is bisexual (not that I mind, but it definitely seemed convenient because it was really only brought up so they can have a threesome) or that she had previously been in a relationship and in love with that women, in fact, that last part actually made it worse because where was the possessiveness and jealousy from this overly possessive hero, over the heroines ex that she had been IN LOVE WIT;? It just didn't make sense. Then everytime the OW would touch the hero or kiss him or whatever, he would say, over and over again, how much of a turn on it was but how he still preferred the heroine like he was trying to convince the reader or something, which wasn't working. If the author is gonna start writing these kind of scenes (though I won't be reading those) she should at least make it hot, because it was definitely not.
The only contact the hero and ow had was making out, touching, she gives him a handjob, and the ow undressed him. The hero only gets a bj and has sex with the heroine. Heroine and ow go down on each other and kiss.
Besides that whole part, I am giving it two stars, because the first 25% wasn't too bad, but it almost seemed like a different book than the rest of the story, so no more stars for that. The plot also just started dragging, and it was a bit repetitive from some things that happened in the previous Gen and this one, but I can't say this was fleshed out as the previous series was either, and it just became a little OTT. Anyways, I will definitely be more wary going into this author's books, if I ever decide to again, but at this point I kind of just want to forget this series and try not to let it taint the OG series🙃
Safety:
OW drama (heroine's ex)
Hero I think was a manho
Heroine is more experienced
Threesome scene (FFM)
Right before the threesome scene they both talk about all the threesomes they have had, apparently it was both of their thing, but after the one in the book they decide not to do it again
No cheating technically unless you include the threesome

Brick was the fourth and final book in the Knights Corruption MC - Next Generation series by S Nelson.
Brick was a patched member of the MC with Zoe being the daughter to Ryder, one of the originals (book five, original series). Zoe wasn’t raised by Ryder but as an adult began to spend more time with him. Brick and Zoe met and began a relationship, even though she was off limits as a family to a brother. As the relationship was building, Nelson was also continuing to develop the MC conflict that had been present in every book to date. It obviously was coming to a head.
I liked the mystery within the storyline but it was a very difficult story. There was no cheating but it was not safe for my friends who prefer safe and there were definite triggers. And it’s important to note, the triggers were in the present and not in the past. It was dark and emotional.
As to the characters, I liked both Brick and Zoe but I wanted more depth. I didn’t feel the connection as the story was building. Additionally, for the resolution of the final conflict, I wanted more detail. No spoilers so no elaboration, but I wanted more description and a step by step play of the final showdown.
The series came to an end with Brick. Nelson provided POV’s from all characters during the epilogue. It brought everything full circle and it was fitting that it ended where it all started with Marek. All in all, it was a great close to the series.
Ok so I started this book while on vacation at the happiest place on Earth. I had to wait until my vacation was over before I picked it back up. Why you ask? Well let me tell you why.. The emotional roller coaster ride my heart went on while reading this. This book is my favorite in the second gen. series. S. Nelson does an amazing job cleaning up the whole storyline and answering any questions you may have. The other thing she does is write one hell of an emotional story. I was rooting for Brick and Zoe from the very first time they met. The two of them together is something magical. They are both real with real issues, and real insecurities. Their road is a long one filled with many twists and turns. My heart broke for the both of them, and my heart swooned when they both got what they both wanted. Please note that there are some things that are written within these pages that may be a trigger for some, but please know the author did it with class. The writing is amazing and I highly recommend this entire series to everyone starting with the very 1st book in the series Marek.
Its no secret that I loved the original Knights Corruption series and there is no surprise that i am loving the second generation series too!
As always with S Nelson's writing you are drawn in with the intriguing and hot characters, and the cleverly written storyline that has you on the edge of your seat unable to put it down until you have finished as you want to see how it plays out.
This one features Brick and Zoe. Zoe is Ryder's daughter. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot I am surprised there was not smoke coming out of my kindle!
There are so many simply brilliant twists and turns that your heart will stop, swoon and break at certain points throughout. The author did cover a tough topic that some may find hard to read but did it so well.
I'm hoping this isn't the last we see of these KCMC men but I am looking forward to seeing what S Nelson brings us next.
ARC received in exchange for an honest review from the Author
Wow, what an emotional roller coaster this read was! I read this book in one sitting, I was sucked in right from the start and spat out at the end! Brick and Zoe’s path was very bumpy and filled with drama and angst, my heart broke for them but was filled with joy when they got their HEA. We get the answer to questions I had and a wonderful conclusion to a fabulous series. Though I’m sad that it’s over, I can’t wait to see what awesomeness this author comes up with next!
** ARC received in exchange for an honest review **
Intense doesn't even describe what I feel about this book! I love Brick! He kinda reminded me alot of Marek. The intensity of every word and action in this book keep you on edge. Zoe definitely gives Brick a run. I love how they seem opposite from each to being the perfect fit for each other. I hung on every word for the minute I started reading to even after I was done. My heart was in every direction possible. I couldn't get enough.
5 phenomenal stars!!!!! So many emotions with this book. Heart pounding, hold your breath kinda ride with the big man.
This book was by far my favorite out the entire series. I always knew Brick was gonna be a character I wanted more of than just the little pieces we got of him in the other books. The big man totally did me in on this book, I absolutely loved him and his giant heart. Yes he definitely is living up to his name in this book. We get to see this giant sexy alpha biker fall in love and have some insecurities about himself. He was a character that made you instantly love him no matter if he was dirty or sweet talking his woman. This book starts out with Brick being shot and Zoe taking care of him against her father Ryder's wishes. We watch them fall in love and navigator their insane connection to one another. We get to see Brick as more than just the big man who is the enforcer but a sweet and loving protective man he actually is and then we finally get to know Zoe more. I wasn't sure how I felt about Zoe in the previous books but this book totally showed how selfless and loving she is and what a survivor she truly is. This book has some serious melt your kindle moments between these two and you feel like oh this is sweet and oh so hot and then S. Nelson hits you full force with the suspense and action packed drama. At times I was holding my breath and couldn't read fast enough to see what was happening but let me tell you it was very intense and you will only grow to love Zoe and Brick even more. Zoe sacrifices herself to keep her stepmom Braylen and her unborn baby safe, as safe as she can with the Reapers out for revenge. We watch Zoe endure awful things at the hands of Griller and Dutch and a few other Reapers. I think Zoe's life was changed forever from her traumatic situation and she proves how strong she really is in this book. We watch Brick struggle to find her then to learn what happened to her and blame himself for not protecting her even though it was never truly his fault he spirals in to such awful guilt over everything that Zoe went through. We watch Zoe struggle with her emotions and how she lashes out at Brick saying she hates him for everything even though she loves him. Can I just say I truly loved Brick's revenge he got on Dutch and even Griller though his wasn't as long and drawn out as his buddy's was. That happened to be my favorite part to see him take away Zoe's threat and to give her back some safety now. We watch both Zoe and Brick struggle from the aftermath of her attacks and as she leaves him behind to try and start her healing process away from him. Zoe finds herself and realizes she may have lost or pushed away Brick and his love for her by not speaking to him over several months. She finally gets to a place of acceptance that it wasn't his fault or her fault but the men who attacked her that changed her life forever. Brick spirals into a drunken depression for awhile without being able to take care or even love Zoe anymore. Then he finally has to move on and hope she will either love him back on day or just learn to live without out her. To say this book was a true love story doesn't even do it justice its just so much of everything you ever wanted and more. The ending of this book was phenomenal you get an epilogue that shows you all the main characters thoughts and feelings and a few surprises but I have to say the way S. Nelson was able to end the series for not just second gen but the first was truly amazing. This book will go down as one of the best in the series and this is definitely how you end your series. It was very poetic with Marek being the last we hear from since it was him who we started this crazy insane journey with in the beginning. I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves suspense, action, romance, and the cocky alpha MC life this is your book for sure. I was given a ARC for my honest opinion and this book blew my mind at how beautifully written it was and the insane ride of emotions it takes you on and it is so very bittersweet knowing this is the last of this series but S. Nelson gives you one of the best send offs you could ask for as a reader. I cannot wait to see what new journey or adventure she will take us on next. Grab this series you definitely won't want to put it down. Must read 2020!
This book was full of sexy bikers, strong, sassy women, action and danger. It was dark and twisted and a page turner.
Brick is the Enforcer for the Knights Corruption MC, he secretly started seeing the daughter of one of older members of the club. He knows that she is out of his league and that he should let her go, but he can’t bring himself to do it. She has wound her way into his heart, and he can’t imagine his life without her. When Zoe decides to stay by his side to take care of him after a shooting, her father demands that she stay away from Brick.
Zoe is the daughter of a biker, but she is also a fashionista. She works for a high-end fashion designer and has lived in London, but she loves her father and the first time she met Brick she was attracted to him. She is a sassy, strong minded woman that does not appreciate being told what to do and when she defies Brick and her father’s orders, she finds that they were not trying to be controlling but trying to protect her. Now her whole world is tipped upside down and she’s not sure she’ll ever be the same again. She knows that her choice to save and protect her stepmother was the right thing to do, but it could destroy her and her relationship with Brick.
I was in tears reading this book, it is dark, twisted, and heartbreaking, but it was written so well. The characters are great, and I loved that Ford and Owen Massey were in this book too, I love these two. This was not an easy book to read, there is content that can cause triggers for some and it is twisted, but in the end, the book was so worth the read. I loved the way Ms. Nelson did the epilogue in this book. The way that she included updates on all of the Next Generation couples and some on the older
To be honest, I rated it a 4 the other other night when I finished it and decided to sleep before writing a review because I'd stayed up late to read the epilogue when I realized it was a closing for the whole series. After thinking a little more, it's getting a higher rating than the others in the series because of how the epilogue brought it all together. It brought this next generation series to an entertaining close even if this isn't my favorite of the couples. I hadn't read any of these books when I decided to sign up to read the Brick ARC. I've enjoyed her books in the past and they looked like quick reads to keep up with my reading goals, so here we are. (Also, I wanted to be able to leave an honest review knowing what came first in the series so I spent a week reading the first 3 books in this series.) When the ARC arrived in my inbox I was just finishing Ace and I was nervous. I wanted to know more about Brick and Zoe but the series would be ending and my expectations were high after the build about the Savage Reaper drama. I will say Brick and Zoe aren't my favorite couple in this series, but man, oh, man do they go through some stuff. I really enjoyed that this book went all out for the finale. Everything went up a notch. The chemistry and steaminess amped up, as well as the action and drama mixed in. The fun of the epilogue is what helped me look past some spelling and grammatical errors (which is usually what keeps me from giving some books higher ratings, sorry) but it was a great end to bring the series full circle and visit some of the characters one more time. I wasn't sure how I felt about the ending up to the epilogue and then I was very satisfied by the last page even if I did wish I got to learn more about Tag and Morgan😉
Brick is recovering from a wound and the ever so sexy Zoe is looking after him, even though her father is not happy with the situation. But these two have a connection and even though the relationship is new, they can’t deny the attraction. The club has a threat and everyone is on high alert. When an incident happens it is soul destroying, heartbreaking, and will gut you. Can the club come back from this and more importantly can Zoe move on with her life. Ms. Nelson has given us an epic ending to a brilliant series. The chemistry between Zoe and Brick was off the charts. At times I did think there was too much s-mex but overall, it still worked. The incident that happened, I would have loved a bit more involvement there and the horrors that took place, I wish we had seen a bit more. But that is only my personal feeling and I know, it would have been a bit dark for some of the readers, so I think Ms. Nelson made a call on how much to reveal. The ending was brilliant as it wraps up the whole MC. If you are looking for a hot and well written MC book, add this one to your list. I am sad to say goodbye to the Knight Corruption, but who knows, maybe we will get Tag story and the next generation. Reviewed for Hot Books & Sassy Girls
What do you say when you just finished a book that had completely consumed you? This first and second generation MC series that has become an all time favourite has finally come to a powerful end. What an incredible finish for such a great series!!! I've been looking forward to Brick and Zoe's story for some time. Their chemistry is sizzling and their love is strong. The scenes of passion are often and intense. No complaints here! This couple goes through so much turmoil and grief, so much pain and worry yet their love just grows. I really enjoyed getting more of all the characters from MC group that I've come to love over the years! S. Nelson brought this entire series to a grand finale and gave all the cast their moment in the spotlight. The push and pull, the drama, the incredible passion, all the highs and lows made this book, this series the best MC series I've ever read! I will definitely miss these men!
Brick was the fourth book in S. Nelsons Knights Corruption MC series. This series follows the second generation, and ends with Brick and Zoe. This book was a great way to not only end the series, but to end it with this wonderful couple. Brick isn't related to the MC but he has found a home among his MC. It's through his family and friends that he meets Zoe. Who is none other than Ryder's daughter. There are strict rules within this MC that a brother cannot mess with a fellow brother's daughter, this doesn't ever seem to stop the young guys though.
Zoe and Brick have been messing around for a while but as the threat to the club grows increasing worse, Brick realizes that his feelings for Zoe are so much more than them just hooking up. As the threats keep amping up their viciousness, the club tries harder than ever to protect their loved ones.
This book dove into taking care of the threat that has been damaging the club from not just this series, but the first one that started all this MC hotness. I feel like everything was wrapped up really well, along with giving us a conclusion from every character with their HEA. I'm thrilled about Tag, I do wish he got his own book but at least we have answers.
I loved this series, and I loved Brick and Zoe. But, there is a scene in this book that is just not my trope. It happens at close to the beginning and so I think people that have read this book know what I mean. I'm not going to give anything away but I know that others will not have a problem like I did.
Fair trigger warning as well. This book seems to have taken on a darker theme, close to Marek and Lincoln's books.
I was given an arc of this book for an honest review.
What an amazing end to a very long run of getting to know the men and women of Knights Corruption MC! Book 4 is the story of Brick and Zoe. Brick is the club enforcer, all tough and ready to do what he has to do to protect his family...and that includes Zoe, the daughter of fellow member Ryder. Club rules say family is off-limits to the brothers, so we watch as Zoe and Brick begin sneaking around and slowly develop their relationship into a more serious one. Especially when there's a threat to the club and Brick has to face his real feelings for Zoe in order to keep her safe. As you can always expect from this author, the story is well-written, consistent, and every single character is well-developed. These characters feel like family at this point, so we're essentially saying goodbye to our loved ones with this book, but the author does not disappoint, satisfying long-term fans and newbies alike. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!
Where do start? Oh Brick Brick Brick 🧡🧡🧡 This was a perfect end to my favourite book series. I absolutely loved Brick and Zoe’s story and their emotional rollercoaster to a HEA. This is the last Knights book and I can honestly say I loved everyone but definitely think Brick stole my heart ❤️ he is a force to be reckoned with in all ways but is love for Zoe is swoon-worthy. Zoe is sassy and stubborn and pushes Bricks buttons her fiery hair matching her vibrant personality and sexuality. But Zoe's stubbornness turns her life upside down. This book was beautifully written and S Nelson covered sensitive topics with respect. The story between the Knights and Reappears comes to an explosive end and I loved the addition of seeing the Massey Brothers (from S Nelson’s Massey Security Duet book) as Ford started my S Nelson journey ❤️ I’m sad to see this series end but can’t wait to see what’s next Definitely recommend this series
Brick is the final book in the Knights Corruption Next Gen, which makes me sad as I love these characters SOOOOOO MUCH❣️Brick and Zoe meet at her brother’s birthday party and are immediately drawn towards each other. They secretly start to see each other and when Brick and Ryder are injured, Zoe jumps in to help Brick with his recovery - which her father, Ryder, can’t understand🤷♀️
This story ranges a full spectrum of emotions from happiness to sadness, romance and suspense and much much more😱 Brick and Zoe’s story is beautiful and heartbreaking - but so worth the read😍
I received an advanced copy for which I voluntarily leave my honest review❤️
This is the final story in the Knights Corruption MC Next Generation series and it was epic! Brick and Zoe some how survived a gauntlet of traumatic situations and finally got their happily ever after. This story was definitely an emotional rollercoaster, full of suspense, drama and passion. I really enjoyed the epilogue which brought the series to a wonderful conclusion. I highly recommend every book in this awesome series.
Brick and Zoe have a hard road ahead of them. Brick is a member of the Knights Corruption MC. Zoe is the daughter of one of his friends and club brothers. She's off limits but the two can't stay away from each other. Brick is taking the role of protector for Zoe when a fight with another mc puts her at risk. Things happen that will lead to heartbreak for the couple. Can they get past all the problems? A good read.
Where do I start? This was an epic conclusion to such a phenomenal series! This book had it all. It had the drama, the angst and of course the steamy romance! As much as I didn’t want it to end, S Nelson did a great job writing the final chapter. By ending it with who it all began with!! I will say that I was a little disappointed that the second generation books didn’t have Tripp more! This was an ARC.
What a great ending to an amazing series that I will miss so much! So thankful for this ARC. This final book pulled at every emotion in my heart and mind. Brick and Zoe went through so much but were so hot and perfect for each other. I absolutley loved the epilogue, it's a glimpse into everyone's HEA and it couldn't have been more perfect! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A 10 Star addition to the series! I loved Brick and Zoe’s story. It was difficult but real. I loved how dedicated they were to each other. They had chemistry off the charts too. The MC drama was a lot in this book but it finally Puts some past issues to bed. Great read!! Amazing series. Love this world!!
So its starts off as a book that wanted to know the back story of the these characters (brick and zoe). As you read younsee how much they love, seek, and need each other. The love that these characters have one another reminds me of Merk and sully. Now imwant to read Tag and Morgan story even though they won't get a book. I like how she always ends a series with all the characters and how they will live the rest of there life together in one big happy family. I love this book and wish I could keep up with theses characters forever.
Brick is the epic conclusion to such a wonderful series. I'm sad to see it but I know that great things are coming. Brick and Zoe's book was an amazing read and the Road to their HEA was a rough one. Its hard to say goodbye but I just know that this is the beginning of something new.
Great read! It was great to see Zoe and Brick get their own book - and what a roller coaster ride of a story it was! This book is definitely not a standalone, but nicely wrapped up the series. As always, S. Nelson’s stories are beautifully written and you feel connected to and invested in the characters. It was probably slightly gratuitous with the love scenes and the FMF scene is not my thing, so I just flipped on past it - by no means did it take away from the overall enjoyment of the book. S. Nelson’s work is always great and she definitely didn’t disappoint. Can’t wait to see with what she comes up with next!
I was given an ARC for my free assessment of this book.
That was horrific! OMG poor Zoe and poor Brick, you'll need tissues. Some of it was a little hard to read, had to take a break but couldn't leave them there. So glad Zoe found her way back. Loved the ending, but hated seeing ‘The end’, I wanted to cross that out and keep reading
