Logan Sterling. Star quarterback. A handsome devil.

An arrogant nightmare.

I just wanted a normal senior year. I wanted to catch the eye of my crush, Daniel Garcia, and live like a normal teenager.

That’s until Logan decides he won’t let me out his sight.

He ruins my chance with Daniel and I’ll be damned if I’ll let him come near me. Too bad he’s a stubborn jock with no regard for rules.

I’ll fight him with all my power.

But this might be a battle only he can win.

“Take it back. You have no right to do this to me,” I say quickly, panic rises in my chest.

“You know what your problem is?” He whispers heatedly, crowding into my space.

“What? What is my problem, Logan?”

“You’re afraid,” he finishes.

“Afraid of what?” I hiss.

“Afraid that you’re actually falling in love with me and not him,” he spits the last word.

“I smile,” I say defensively. “Just not around you.”

“Mm,’” he mumbles. “Maybe we should change that.”

A SEXY, FIERY standalone enemies-to-lovers romance full of passion and heated exchanges and a guaranteed HEA. These two opposites will fight for what they want, even if it means crashing the world around them. Elena will be damned if she’ll let an arrogant jock worm her way into her heart. But can she resist? You won’t want to miss this exciting read!

Loved it, surprising twists

First book of this authors I have read. Liked the characters and some of the scenes were worthy in a John Hughes film (pretty in pink). The scene in the school hallway where he makes her cry had my heart clenching.

What was with that abrupt ending? Damn. I felt like I was being lifted to a platform by a rope..and I was so close to reaching that platform but the rope got cut suddenly..out of nowhere!

A lot of editing issues and some parts made no sense..like Logan clearly mentions that his practise gets over at 5 and he will meet Elena at the library at 5.30. In the next scene, it's shown that Elena is pissed that Logan hasn't made it at 5.15..like how do you make such small errors?

And towards the end, Elena's friend, Kira, goes to her place to tell her that Logan is looking for her and she also says "..he asked me if I knew you..". Ummm what? Why would the author write such a random line when clearly..Kira knows everything that's happening between Logan and Elena! Like she was literally there in the hallway next to Elena when Logan and his friend walked upto them to talk right before Daniel showed up! This books needs a lot of editing!

Other than that, a very smooth and short read..apart from that very abrupt ending.
