Finding 42: Cut the Rope

Rate this book
Finding 42 is, at its core, an adventure travel series. It is about a man, Benny Mailman, who at age 42 realized that he was living in a society where other folks had created the rules and reality. He made the bold decision to leave everything behind and head to foreign lands, to seek adventure and true freedom. He pursued creating his own reality.
Book 1 Starts with the author flying from the known, JFK airport in New York City, to the unknown, Moscow, Russia. After some rather interesting happenings, he gets on the Trans-Siberian Railroad and heads across Russia and into Mongolia.
After adventures in Mongolia, like riding Fire Horse and chanting with the monks at Ghanden Kiln., he gets back on the train and travels into Beijing with his new friends from England and Sweden, that he had met on the train.
He details his adventures through Xi'An, Ping Yao, Luoyang, Shanghai, and Nanning.
There are synchronistic happenings, spiritual visions, family reuniting, and the growth of his heart and soul as he discovers ancient wisdom through each interaction with each individual soul. It was the wisdom that we are all connected, we are all awesome... we are all Love.
Benny is a former Marine, a Packer fan, and a comedian. The writing is witty and fun, and most importantly, from the heart.

I enjoyed reading about Benny’s travel adventure to the Far East. My wife and I met Benny one time in Denver. He makes a big impression and tells a great story. I recommend this book.
