La madre de Carsen esta enferma con cancer y al parecer esta en sus ultimos momentos, asi que su padre lo llama para que acuda a ayudarlo en esos momentos, mientras el trabaja para poder pagar todas las facturas medicas. Pero Carsen tiene miedo de volver a la casa que una vez lo rechazo, todavia tiene mucho resentimiento contra su padre y su madre por la forma como lo trataron por ser gay, pero sabe que tiene a sus hombres que lo apoyan. El asunto, es que no solo esta el problema de su madre, sino tambien el tema de su suspension de la policia, cosa que no quiere decirle a sus hombres para "protegerlos" de angustiarse innecesariamente.
Y cuando regresa a su hogar de la infancia, resulta que las cosas son diferentes, su madre quiere reconciliarse con el, y quiere conocer a sus hombres, su padre esta profundamente herido por la proxima muerte de su esposa, y ahora el solo quiere intentar hacer de los ultimos dias de su madre lo mejor que pueda. Pero por otro lado, sus hombres descubren lo de la suspension de la policia, y su relacion comienza a quebrarse, solo tiene que aceptar que en su terquedad ellos tienen razon y debe hacerles entender que ellos son sus hombres para siempre, y quizas con eso, tambien pueda darle a su madre un ultimo recuerdo feliz.
Este libro fue altamente emocional, la lucha de la madre contra el cancer, el dolor del padre, la inseguiridad de Carsen, hicieron que me enamorara de ese personaje. Un hombre fuerte, duro, responsable, que es solo castigado por quien es y por quien quiere, pero que intenta ante todo hacer que todos en su entorno sean felices, aunque sea sacrificando su propia felicidad (o evadiendo los problemas).
Llore con cada visita al hospital, y la forma como la madre le hablaba, llore al final cuando el padre se desmorona, entendi lo que le explico la hermana a Lukas, crei en lo dificil que era para Reece tomar partido. En fin, el libro lo disfruto mucho muchisimo mas que el anterior, los personajes estuvieron mucho mejor escritos, la linea de la trama no se perdio en ningun momento, y el autor supo expresar los sentimientos de perdida y alegria de tal forma que me llegaron como lector.
Asi que ahora vamos con el ultimo de la trilogia, enfocado en Lukas (espero), y veamos como el autor logra cerrar esta relacion en un Felices Para Siempre.

Loving His Daddies is the second book in the Meant to Be trilogy by Skyler Snow. I really love Carsen, Lukas and Reece. They are so good together. The continuation of their story was hot, sweet, sexy and very well written. Carsen and Lukas are the perfect Daddies for Reece. Can't wait to find out what is next for them.

Love these guys 😍
With the news that Carsen received at the end of book 1 we find ourselves in Texas. Carsen has to confront his parents and that's never a easy thing. Tempers run high and he has to rely on Lukas and Reece, if only that was easy for him to do.
This book is fun of steam, confrontations, tears and happy moments. Just all the emotions. It was easy to see how each man grew within this book....it's the tough situations that really show who you can rely on.

This book was wild. I don't know what happened to this author between the first and second book but this was not it. Before I get to the plot; the writing in this was just plain bad. I'm not normally one for spotting typos but they were so frequent that I can recall at least three as I sit here and type this. There were several occasions where the author when back and wrote almost the exact same interaction with the exact same characters and they reacted as if it was the first time. Like when Carsen tells his mom about "losing his job" (btw I don't understand this since he actually quits but whatever) they have the exact same conversation twice. I for sure thought it was just him coming back around to update his mom but they have the same conversation and he has the same internal monologue.
Ok, the plot: what. even. was. this? First of all, I am not a fan of littles. I've managed to avoid reading books with them in the plot but I don't know if I didn't read the blurb correctly or what. The first book showed some mild little behavior but something happens to Reece between book one and two because in this story it's full fucking send. Nothing wrong with it, but it's not something I enjoy, or particularly want to read about and it took be out of the story multiple times. Second, I'm sorry but if my parents forced me out of their lives 10 years ago for being gay and then call out of blue to tell me one of them are dying...BYE. Don't let the door hit ya on the way out. Then Carsen's dad had the nerve to get nasty with him on the phone. NO SIR. I appreciate that Carsen has this attitude in the beginning but over the course of the book he forgives them. absolutely not. The wedding? I don't even know what to say. Carsen and Lukas have been together for 10 years. 10 YEARS. They both mention in passing that they've both thought about getting married in the past but it "never felt right" then Reece comes along and like 6 weeks later all three of them say "I do"? I get its for Carsen's mom but Reece is only 19 for christ sake. Then she goes and literally drops dead, like.... how rude.
Don't even get me started on the ending. You're only going to casually mention at the end here that they applied to adopt a child over 5 years ago and NEVER TOLD THEIR NEW PARTNER/SYMBOLIC HUSBAND? Reece was sooooo valid in feeling left out when as soon as Lukas gets off the phone he runs right to Carsen to tell him. He also only mentions Carsen on the phone to the adoption lady - completely forgetting about Reece. I repeat - Reece is only 19. The guy just came out, estranged himself from his entire family, moved across the country, gets in a relationship with two other people, has no job and no plan for school, buries the only kind maternal person to ever look out for him, now they want him to become a father? To two children? While I am interested in how their story ends, I'm not sure I'm planning on reading the third book. Maybe I'll take a break and come back to it.

omg this was fun.. it was interesting and sexy.. fast paced and fun.. it made me smile and happy.. these three are complex and have many emotions that are hard to deal with in this one.. it was fun to read though.. also its a cliffy so dont be mad about that. i cant wait for the next

I enjoyed this! It was cute, fun, had emotion/depth, flowed well, had plenty of steam, and kept my attention (which is a major plus, since I have been in such a reading slump the past month).
I really love Reece, Lukas, and Carsen. They’re so great together, and I love their personalities, dynamics, and chemistry. It’s not often you get to read about MCs and their relationship once they’ve gotten together and been together for a while, so I liked seeing that side of things. Like how they handled disagreements/fights, inner and outer conflicts, and difficult situations, especially being in a poly relationship. I think these things were portrayed in a realistic and relatable way. Yes, there was miscommunication, lack of communication, and poor conflict resolution skills but there was also learning, growing, and open communication. And at the end of the day, they wanted the best for each other and supported and cared for each other.🥰
I also liked how things with Carsen’s parents were handled. Those parts had a lot of depth, hurt, and healing. Sadly, it seems to be quite common for kids to have falling outs with their parents like Carsen did, because parents can be quite ignorant, close-minded, disrespectful, overbearing, and just overall toxic. And it seems like Carsen’s definitely were with the way they handled him being gay, which breaks my heart. I didn’t like that Carsen went home and forgave them so easily tbh, but it just showed the kind of person he is. I understood where his parents were coming from, given how they were raised and what they were taught, which is common in older generations, but they owed it to themselves and to Carsen to educate themselves, be better, and reach out sooner. I’m glad they finally came around and realized the error of their ways and that Carsen got closure with his mom before she died, but idk I just couldn’t overlook how easily forgiven they were. Not only by Carsen but Lukas and Reece, too, but I understood the situation was tough and everyone wanted to find a way to move forward, which is admirable and mature, and I think it was handled with care.
I’m interested to see what happens in book three. I’m usually not a fan of books with kids, but I love these MCs, and it will be interesting to see what happens when kids are brought into the mix. I can see there being more conflict and challenges, especially on Reece’s end, but I think it will give way to a rewarding, hard-won, and well-deserved HEA.😊

Ok, this second book was definitely better than book one. The story of Reece, Lukas and Carsen continues in this book and a lot of things happen. The changes that take place in Loving His Daddies are life altering, and it gives their relationship/love new depth.
They have to face some pretty hard times together, but I feel like all this only made their connection stronger.
I loved spending more time with them and I loved how in this book we got to see more facets of their personalities.
Lukas is a soft Daddy through and through, and such a strong partner for Carsen.
Carsen has a sensitive side that we got to see in book 2 and I am happy we got time to explore it.
Reece... oh, baby. He is not only the baby, but he is also a little and seeing him in this role helped us understand him better, and Lukas and Carsen in their Daddy roles.
Their dynamic changed quite a bit in this book, and while I was happy, the little k*nk is not necessarily my fav, hence why this book is not a 5 stars. It wasn't a bad change or anything, it is just me. These 3 were amazing together as a couple and in their roles. Also, don't worry, we do get to see Reece in adult mode as well, it's not like he is a little the whole book. This is why the book is a 4.5✨️ for me.
I am curious how this story will end, since the ending of this book was a HFN and the b0mb dropped in our laps at the end is another life altering event. Let's see...

Not bad but something is missing
This series isn't bad but Ifeel like something is missing or something doesn't belong. I don't believe a lot of the kinks they have Reece have. Like lingerie is great but it's not like they make it a big kink in the book. Same with a little side that seemed to come out of nowhere, I know the beginning said Lukas was more of a Daddy daddy but I just didn't see it with Reece. And the adoption thing at the end that's a huge curve ball., curious to see how that turns out.

Carsen's reunion with his family is anything but easy, Lukas shows he can easily stand up for himself and his. While Reese proves he won't love one more than the other when tempers runs high.
It's sweet and sad. People can change, even if it takes a long journey for it to happen.
I liked their story, I didn't love it, and I wish Reese's love for music would have played a bigger part than something in passing.

So glad I found this author
This is a great story. This is the second book in the series about Carsen, Lukas and Reece. In this book we learn a lot about Carsen and his family. Skyler Snow writes a great story and great characters.

All of the feelings!
This book hit home. I had to put the book down and step away when Carsen's mom died. After losing my own mother it was too much. Skylar did an amazing job with this book.

There was angst and drama and sweetness in this one. I adore Carsen, Lukas and Reece. I'm looking forward to seeing what having kids will be like for the trio.

The story gets better
It was a sexy time until life kicked in the door. Its hard being gay and then be poly on top of it , wow and to get have to lose what you love doing and find out your mom is dying is horrible. But good news comes in twos

Aww got to see a little of the main character being a little and I enjoyed that. I also love that they went and solved the issue together but of course Skyler had to leave us on cliffhanger. I guess I better get ready for an epic ending.

What a great story. So much heart and sadness with a great happy ending. Love their little family. Happy Carson got some closure and reconciliation before the end. Loved it.

A very sweet, sexy, fun and entertaining series - I highly suggest reading all 3 books in the series as they follow each other closely and are all focused on the same 3 MC's.

I love this triad of men. They are sweet and perfect for each other. I love how they came together and thrived. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it felt like every time I turned around, new aspects of kink were thrown in unexpectedly and it didn’t always fit, a5 least that’s how I felt. I absolutely loved that Carson’s parents came around in the end and I loved the ceremony. This was a sweet story even during the hard parts, it all worked out for a great HEA or maybe a HFN...depends on how you look at it.
