I wasn't a fan of this book but a librarian gave it to me when I said my son liked cars. I felt like I had to check it out and I was surprised that my son seemed to really like it. So I guess I was wrong! I think that all the names of the cars were a bit confusing for my two-year-old so I wouldn't always say each car's name, I'd just say "truck" or something. But each page is pretty simple and we made a lot of "vroom" sounds while reading it. I also changed a lot of words to ones I knew that he would know. I'm not sure the pictures always tell the story that well but my son enjoyed looking at cars and I think he understood the basics of them driving and racing along and that one needed help.

This story is written by the WWE wrestler and film star John Cena for children who are just starting to read, it follows a monster truck named Elbow Grease and his family as they take part in a race, when one of the brothers does not stop the others must work together to help him out. The monster trucks all have different personalities and all look different so the children will be able to recognise the monster trucks on sight.
