From USA Today Bestselling author Siera London comes the final story in the Bachelors of Shell Cove series.
Dr. Logan Masters is on the cusp of achieving everything he’s planned and worked for: the coveted career, the prominent social status, and the coup de grace—marriage to the woman of his dreams. But success has a price. When a brutal attack abruptly rips away the things Logan holds dear, long buried insecurities rock the foundation of his future with Ava.
For six months, Ava Walters has dreamed of her perfect wedding day to her very own fairytale hero. Logan has been her strength and refuge, until a potentially career-ending injury changes him.
While Logan and Ava struggle to navigate the sudden change to their plans, an enemy conceives a deadly finale. Now, Logan must risk everything to defeat a past enemy before his future bride is lost to him forever.
I didn't think it was going to be possible to wrap up all the questions and to capture the barren mother as well as settle Ava and Logan for good. I love that Logan and Marribelle grew up in this one. Ava is a strong character who was not afraid to give her heart, but knew how to guard it as well. She knew what was acceptable and what was not. She helped Logan mature, to see her as the good thing that he founds wife, and he could clearly recognize God's manifestation of His love for him in Ava. All things worker for their good after they weathered their storm. This was a romance with plenty of heat, but it was the story of a steady, strong, and healthier love, that promoted growth, respect, and support. Such an amazing finish to the Shell Cove series. It's all been fabulously left on the pages. Now maybe a spin of series where we can see Monique, Tyson, and the rest of the family. Thank you Siera for putting this work out.
This is a well written book with a cast of strong characters centering on Ava and Logan. The author takes you on an emotional journey filled with anxiety ,danger and suspense. It's an intense story with detailed and descriptive scenes ,moves fluidly and is a great read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Logan believes that his life is finally on the right track both personally and professionally until everything he holds dear is threatened. It will have him questioning his entire future and he will need to decide what is truly important before it is too late.
After the events that have transpired Ava wants the man she fell in love with and not the man he has become. Their love may be tested but they prove that it is strong enough to overcome anything that life throws at them.
Ava and Logan have been through a lot, but the love is always there. Family, foes, nor their own doubts and insecurities will keep them apart. This book has drama, mystery, love, revelations, forgiveness and expanding family. I highly recommend adding it to your library.

I didn't care for Logan or Ava in this one. Logan was a whiny, self-centered, egotistical b!+c# throughout this book. He was always harping on other people's secrets, while shoving his skeletons deep into his closet.
Ava got on my nerves. You know somebody is after you, but you decide you can handle it all on your own. This is what I refer to as Super B!tch syndrome. She can't defeat dust bunnies, but she's gonna figure out how to keep safe from an unknown attacker?
This is when I find myself rooting for the bad guy.
I only read this last book in the series because I wanted to know who the Barren Mother was and find out who was after Ava and Logan. This part of the story was pretty good, but not good enough to overlook several issues.
First, there were two major inconsistencies: First, there is a bad guy/henchman using the code name Hawk. In the last book, Hawk was the deputy named Morris. This book renames Morris to make him Falcon...so someoneelse can be Hawk??? Yeah...No.
Next, Victor the sleazy pedophile is somehow shifting his desires from 9-y.o. Cassidy to 16-y.o. Monique. The problem? Victor was killed in the last book with one of Phoenix's arrows through his throat. They even described his corpse falling over and being propped up by the arrow. How was he resurrected to be the guest sleaze for this book? (OH...it was a "different " Victor? One who just happened to want the same little girl as his predecessor? Yeah...No...again.)
Then, there are smaller inconsistencies in this book along with a myriad of typos: putting question marks on statements and periods on questions; leaving words out of sentences; incorrect verb tense agreement (probably only a thing for an English major...sorry...not sorry)...I could go on.
Even though I have issues with the proofing and editing of this book, I think I would enjoy books featuring the O'Connor brothers and the Rice brothers. (Just get someone else to edit them, please and thank you!)
I don't know what to say about this story except that it had me feeling a whole gambit of feelings. Commando Barbie really made me want to strangle her. I can't believe that Logan's father stayed with her as long as he did. That woman had some mental issues from way back that she transferred to her mini-me, Logan, whose mine was still affected by his past and inability to protect and save. That was until Ava came into his life. He now knows that what he thought he had with his deceased ex Brook, was a sham. He only needed her as arm candy. But, other people are full of revenge and not whom you think they are until it is almost too late. It took almost losing Ava to make Logan realize that he needed to live in the here and now because Ava and their family were the most important thing in his life, even to his career.
Siera wrote the hell out of this story. Ava had more patience with Logan than I would have. He was so stuck on what his injury had done to his life and how his family was changing, he couldn't see what he still had in his life. His injury brought out another side of him that everyone could see except him. But thankfully, real love won out in the end and Logan and Ava got their HEA.
Ava is finally getting to marry the man of her dreams Logan, but while it should be a wonderful time, life's hits aren't done with these two just yet. Logan's mother is a witch and always trying to cause trouble, but Ava is used to it though she's finally standing up for herself. It's the brutal attack on them that starts putting cracks in their foundation. Logan has pretty much lost his mind with over protectiveness & feeling sorry for himself while Ava is standing by her man. However, it comes to a point that she's had enough of it all. I mean who would be able to live with the deadly danger stalking on top of Logan going downhill, and I didn't blame her one bit because she needed to put herself first. This story had a ton of angst, a ton of f-bomb worthy twists, family drama for days, and in between all of this, they get some time to have hot sexy times, but at the end of the day can Logan find out who is after them before it's too late?! You know what to do to find out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
Consuming Logan is my first book by Siera London, so there were threads of story lines from the other books in the series that I was in the dark about, but I was able to catch on to who was who rather quickly. And those mentions of past events didn't detract from the overall feel of what was happening here.
I liked Ava. She was strong and smart and sassy. She lived boldly and fiercely and wouldn't let anything stand in the way of that love. Not over protective parents, a bothersome and meddling mother-in-law to be or Logan himself. But when an unknown threat pops up, it brings out all of Logan's protective instincts but also his fears.
When the 'mastermind' of who was behind all the mayhem was revealed, I gave an audible 'I KNEW IT!' while at the same time holding my breath to see how it would all play out. Talk about intense. Logan and Ava's journey to happily ever after was full of drama, steam and danger. Even when things were dicey, the one thing that was never in doubt was how much they loved each other.
4 Star Review Consuming Logan (Bachelors of Shell Cove) by Siera London
I had no idea going in that Dr. Logan Masters and Ava Walters had appeared in a previous book as this is my first time reading Siera London. If I had known I would have read their earlier book as I think it would have given me a better sense of their history as I was a little lost at times. Having said that the writing was strong and Ms. London drew me in as the story unfolded and at times I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was about to happen. I really liked Ava, she is a strong, determined woman who loves fiercely and she brought out the best in Logan. After a brutal attack, all Logan and Ava’s plans are up in the air; will an enemy destroy their plans and rip them apart? Or will love win out in the end?
So I started this book not having read the previous but I still able to follow the previous happenings between Ava and Logan. I did find the constant reminder that they loved each other, he was nothing without her and the everlasting need to have sex in almost every chapter more than a bit tedious. I like a good, sexy romance but with these two I just wasn’t convinced. I found the story overly long with too many extra characters thrown in. For me the most exciting parts were when the Barren Mother made an appearance - now there’s an interesting character. I also liked Tyson O’Connor who really, really needs his own book. Criticism aside, this was a good read and the big reveal of who all the villains were made my jaw drop more than once. You’ll be surprised too!

4 Stars for Consuming Logan: A Bachelor of Shell Cove This is the first book I have read by this author and although I enjoyed Consuming Logan, i think I should have read at least the previous book that Logan and Ava appeared in, that being said this book still rates as a great read because the writing, the plot and the characters are all strong. A brutal attack leaves Ava and Logan’s life in a mess, their future plans have gone out the window and they need to pull together because if they don’t the enemy is sure to destroy them both... I loved this couple, Ava is strong and not afraid to love and Logan trusted Ava enough to let her help him grow. This was a captivating read that kept me on the edge of my seat and I look forward to reading more by the talented Ms London.
Consuming Logan is the fifth installment in Siera London’s Bachelor of Shell Cove series. Fittingly, the series starts and ends with Logan and Ava. When we left Ave and Logan, they had put most of their demons to rest but Logan was still holding on to his secrets and attitudes concerning his previous engagement. Ava has let Logan in on all of her dark spaces but he still has relationship work to do. When Logan is hurt, it looks like their HEA is in danger of unraveling. Will this couple be able to finally put all of their cards on the table? Logan’s controlling mother is not going to go quietly into the night.

This is my first time reading a book by this author and I must say she is delivering in a major way. This book is awesome. There is family drama, mystery, secrets, romance, love, forgiveness, twisting plot and healing. I need to read the earlier books in this series. If you’re into reading romantic suspense this is the book to read.
Logan and Ava are working things out after a brutal attack and neither knows what the future holds for them. Ava is a strong and determined woman and she brings out the best in Logan. I so loved this couple.
I recommend this book if like family drama with a romantic twist.

While I have enjoyed this series immensely, this final installment was a little anticlimactic. Ava and Logan are the couple that started it all in Chasing Ava. Coming back to them brought the series full circle, but this installment left many questions with varied contradictions. One part of the book says they are already married, while another says they aren’t. One part says Robert Lee had his children before marrying Maribelle, while another says he cheated on Maribelle. Additionally it is difficult to follow the passage of time in this story. Shell Cove is a great place and it is sad to see it go.
Whew! This story had me at the edge of my seat! I will say that you need to read all of the books in this series so that you can better understand the personalities of the characters in Ava and Logan's. None of the books will disappoint you. This book just shows that more money definitely equals more problems lol Besides that, love is end all be all. Love is worth more than anything this world can offer and so don't take it for granted. Not everyone knows what true love is so cherish the wealth that it brings.
On a side note, I can't wait until that Waverly Falls series comes out *wink wink**hint hint*
Logan, Logan, Logan… Some men take a few years to grow up or mature. Logan took longer than most because his mother was an enabler. Although he worked as a rich and famous surgeon he had no idea how to actually live until he met Ava. This may have been London’s first series but I hope it is not her last. The characters have depth and versatility and the plots are interwoven and delicious. Great weekly reading before school starts on Monday. August 5… cutting into my personal reading time.
I absolutely loved this book! I was on the edge of my seat reading it! Did not see the true identity of Barren mother coming. Loved the twist and turns. The drama was off the charts. The chemistry between Ava and Logan was smoking hot. Ava was a strong woman she had been through so much and she was a fighter. Loved this journey that you have to take with Ava and Logan. Family secrets have away coming and boy did they. I loved this book.
Oh I enjoyed this book soooo much. You tied in all the characters real well the only thing I wasn't pleased with is the fact that you had your code names mixed up because I thought Morris' code name was hawk, that what he called himself and then Cassidy called home Mr hawk but in this book you kept referring to Franklin as hawk. Other than that I loved the story. Keep writing these amazing stories.
This is book five in the The Bachelors Of Shell Cove series . This is a continue book series from book one . This is a great book with alot of twist and turns . I can't lie this book is on fire I couldn't put it down it's really good . Can Logan and Ava get through their problems without family and so much drama getting in the way . I recommend this book to anybody .

This is not a simple read. I didn't realize that this is part of a series until I was twenty chapters in. There are a lot of characters who are head strong. A lot of drama. I was done reading about Maribelle after two chapters. She was too much. Despite feeling like I needed a dictionary at times because of the vocabulary, I do think it is well written.

Wow, this will keep you on the edge of your seats... Such a compelling, complex story. I won't go into detail but it was full of intrigue & danger & some some hot tender loving. I would gladly kill the mother from hell &, in truth, I felt like knocking some sense into her arrogant son. He did eventually redeem himself when he saved the life of his "Ava mine" & their twins so I'll forgive him, this time. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
Consuming Logan is an interracial romance between Logan, a physician with social status, and Ava, the woman of his dreams who he is to wed. There is a brutal attack upon Logan prior to their wedding which adds severe stress to their relationship. This book has romance, secrets, mystery, and family dysfunction.

I'm still working my way through the rest of the books, but I do have to say, the author did such a great job with this book. There were surprises, as well as characters that you love, and some that I just can't stand. This story had me on the edge of my seat in suspense, excitedly wondering and waiting for what would happen next. If you love romantic suspense stories that will entertain and keep you on the edge of your seat, you might want to try this book.

I've read several books written by Sierra London; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is the fifth book in the Bachelors of Shell Cove Series, it is a stand-alone book; Ava & Logan fought through a lot and in the end love was all that mattered.
