EXPERIENCES FOR THE FUTURE: ECONOMIC EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF INTERNATIONAL CAPITAL FLOWS, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA

Rate this book
The book “Experiences for the Future” is actually my doctoral thesis under the “Economic effects of different types of international capital flows with particular reference to the Republic of Macedonia” defended in July2018 at the Faculty of Economy within the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. I defended this doctoral thesis in front of a five-member commission com- prised of the following Prof. Metodija Nestorovski, PhD, as Chair- man of the Commission and my mentor at the time I was preparing and defending my Master’s degree thesis, Prof. Mihail Petkovski, PhD, mentor of this doctoral thesis and book reviewer, Prof. Zhivko Atanasovski, PhD, also a peer reviewer of this book, Prof. Ljube Trpeski, PhD and Prof. Vladimir Fil- ipovski, PhD. I really appreciate all their support, professional attitude and cooperation. I would particularly want to thank my mentor for this doctoral thesis, Prof. Mihail Petkovski, PhD, whose consultations and guidance, especially in the early stages of preparing the paper, were of immense importance for me. The preparation and defence of the doctorate proceeded as usual, although due to the obligations arising out of the position as a Prime Minister and a President of the largest political party, as well as to the extremely turbulent po- litical period in Macedonia in recent years, it has taken a longer time for its completion.
