Baffled By Bitters

Pepper Revelle’s trip to New Orleans inspires her to add a French Quarter-style courtyard to Nola, her bar in Bohemia. But the dig in the backyard reveals what might be a tiny historic treasure with a cocktail connection. With the help of Astra the dog, Pepper and her Bohemia Bartenders colleague Neil set out to learn the secret behind the discovery and realize it offers a surprising connection between the two mixologists.

“Baffled by Bitters” is a fun, 5,300-word short story set in the world of the Bohemia Bartenders Mysteries. (Timewise, it’s set after "Risky Whiskey" and before "Wrecked by Rum," but there are no spoilers!)

Cute and fun between the novels very short story. We are introduced to Pepper's Cavapoo dog named Astra. Astra is absolutely adorable. Pepper is adding a patio behind her bar and some old and interesting bottles are discovered there.

This was a very short story in the Bohemia Bartenders mystery series. I liked it. I found Astra, Pepper, and Neil to be quite the trio. I can't wait to read more in the series.

To short! I know it was only 5300 words and it was told to me from the start but I love these books and I feel like every book is to short. So an actual short? Way to short!
