His to Ravage is the second book in the Lee Family Billionaires series. It is a continuation from a cliff hanger ending from book 1, His to Buy. The author allows enough of the back story to be told for you to understand what is going on and why in this book, but I would still recommend you read His to Buy first.

I am glad to say that once again as well as the expected amount of sex in an erotic novel, the storyline was strong enough to keep me interested in the characters. Kimani Taylor is a wannabe reporter working undercover on an exposé of an auction house that auctions women for sex. Kimani got herself into the auction and now is the sex slave of Ben Lee. He isn't like the other men in his group that have bought 3 other women and are spending a week in an out of the way cabin. To be honest, their treatment of their women is, in my opinion degrading, I was a little uncomfortable reading it, but I am sure some people are into that kind of thing. Ben takes part in some of the 'action' begrudgingly but you just know he isn't comfortable with it which sets him apart from the others.

Kimani finds out more about him, but not much more about the auction house, but her potential boss and buyer of the story is just as keen to find out more about Ben and his family and wonders at a possible bribery angle when it comes to an upcoming election that a member of Ben's family is part of.

I could quite easily enjoy this story without the erotica angle, which is why I like it so much. It's got a good solid storyline and I want to know how it all pans out. Will Ben and his mates discover what Kimani is up to, what will happen if they do? Will she get her story published, or will it somehow be detrimental to Ben and his family if it's released? The auction house needs to be shut down though, so will Kimani end up between a rock and a hard place?

This book ends on another cliff hanger and what a doozy it is! Now I have to wait impatiently for the next book!

"His To Ravage" by Emily Hale

My Speculation:

"His To Ravage" is the second book in this series that presses on from where the last story left us in a cliffhanger. As the story continues, we find the story being very intense from all of the erotic chemistry between Ben and Kimani. This author does a good job of developing the characters to describe feelings that attract these two people. Is this something that will last? Will Kimani get the information she needs to shut down 'Scarlet Auction?' Picking up this series, you will get more information about these billionaires, and it will only leave you wanting more in the next series.

4.5 O-riffic stars - There's plenty to hate about this book but there is even more to love!

In the hate column: Jake; Jake's treatment of women; the racism that some of the characters endure; the naivete of some of the women; Derek and Jason following Jake around like lemmings; and did I mention Jake?

In the love column: the plethora of Os (make a girl jealous kind); Ben - he's sometimes a jerk but mostly he's a stand-up guy; learning to water ski and the patience shown; Ben's chest of toys and his ability to use them well; and the chemistry between Ben and Kimani.

On one hand I want a HFN or HEA now. On the other, it's mostly fun to watch this play out. Bring on the next installment! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This is book 2 of the series. Excellent story line that continues to draw the reader in and keeps you invested in the story until the end of the book that ends in a huge cliffhanger. The book has plenty if erotic moments between Ben and Kimani and the author did a great job developing the characters and building growth and maturity all while highlighting and describing the emotions and feelings between Ben and Kimani and their growing attraction to each other. I do despise Jake and his behavior and treatment of the women he purchased. I really hope Kimani gets to shut the auction house and men like Jake down. I loved the book, excited to read the next.

Just keeps getting better.
This is the second book in the series and it just keeps getting better. Kimani is undercover because of personal as well as business reasons. Ben steps in to keep her from being hurt by the person who won her. It is a good story and this one has that oh blasted cliff hanger. I cannot wait for the next installment. This is a great book by Ms. Hale. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

You have to read book 1 before reading this one as it continues on from there and so you shall be missing quite a lot of information if you don’t read it. This is the second book in the series and so it ends with a cliffhanger. Plenty of mystery, intrigue and steam, there is a lot of steam. There are some nice characters and some not so nice ones, but they all work well in making this a great read.

So far I like

It's interesting because there are scenes in the book that are pretty good and there are others scene that I don't like as much. Jake is just the worst but there's always that one character that is. Ben seems to be a overall nice guy with a kinky side and I can't wait to see if his week with Kimani will turn out to be something more or will she ruin it with her secrets.

This is the second book in the series and it continues where the previous book left off. The chemistry between the characters is intensifying. The energy between them is palpable and their scenes full of steam. The mystery surrounding her character entices him to further explore their connection. I enjoyed reading this book.

I read the first two books for this series back to back and I devoured them both!

This is the second book and I thought that this was a great follow on from the first book in the series.

I thought that the characters were well developed and I am really looking forward to get to know them as the series progresses.

It is 4 stars from me for this one – very highly recommended!

Good but disturbing in places

The chemistry and sex scenes between Ben and Kimani are hot. I've not really read a story quite like this one. Ben is a bit of an idiot though, how he and the other men allow Jake to degrade Kimani and the other women. I'm not too sure of Ben in places. Otherwise a very sexy read.

No substance

Didn't care for this story at all. It didn't read as a stand alone not did the leads have any chemistry. It seemed more like a business transaction that he started to enjoy. The sex felt forced and explicit without any substance. Had to force myself to finish.

I got this book free on Amazon without realizing it was the second in a series but it was easy enough to pick up what was going on. A journalist goes undercover to be sold at a slave auction in order to write a story about the auction and the men and women who take part in it.

I don't have a problem with a romance where the H is a bit of an asshole at first. However, when he humiliated the h by forcing her to remain naked in front of a group (one of whom was sexually aggressive towards her) and to crawl, fetch and bark like a dog in front of them ... I was DONE.

I would give this book negative stars if I could. I wanted to give it zero stars but I wasn't sure if it would show up in the book data graph.
