I liked the idea of the story. I felt bad for AK the entire time and really wish I could have known more about the ex's baby mama. Like I just needed a tad bit more to that story because who was that man she was with?
This is my second book by Barbie, I will definitely read more in the future.

I loved this standalone it was everything from the beginning to the end. I loved how Casanova didn’t play about AK. He really loved her through it all. I was happy that they finally got it right though.

I was on it!!!!
As soon as this book became available I was ready to read it. Being a huge fan of Barbie Scott I knew it would be worth my time.
This book was everything I expected and more.. I just knew Casanova would get it together and let himself be loved by someone who wasn't a gold digger. AK had it hard in the beginning. I was so happy that Batman was true to her til the end.. I hope to see these characters again just to catch up with them. I hope AK beat Shondra disrespectful azz.. Very Very good read .. I enjoyed it from beginning to end... What's next Barbie?? I'm ready..

Fourth time is most certainly awesome
Each time I read about Casanova and AK always wish it was longer I would like to see get married and have a few kids Casanova was arrogant for real But I liked how AK was changing him she can say whatever she wants but know one else could But I think that's what turned him on she was the opposite of what he usually attracted to But she was more like him that's what he needed he Knows AK going to get it out the mud she also will be someone who will hold him down....

Akira also found something and someone she was not looking for even though the hurt her Ex Fero broke her heart he lied to her he is what you call someone who lives a double life had AK holding him down but did her wrong she finds out about his family after he dies make you wonder if he was still a live he probably would have kept messing with both of them his fiance and AK...
But I wish it was part 2 or updates to see if AK had more kids Casanova and see if both of her best friends found happiness as well

Great story
Loved this story. AK had to be hard and tough because of the way her life was dealt to her , her parents didn't want her, grandmother died and the one man she was in love with was only using her to take care of his secret life. When she was at Fero Funeral and found out what she did I know she just wanted to end things but fate would not allow her to go out like that. Casanova came into her world thinking he was going to run things like he did with his wife but little did he know AK was the right one to challenge him and show him exactly what he needed in a female she was somewhat of a female version of him. Casanova setting his wife up to test her loyalty panned out but not the way he expected he hired his friend to do a certain job but lines got crossed and then looked him in his eyes and lied not good at all. After everything I was happy to see that Batman was still loyal and AK found love.

Shanell was dumb how could you fail the test to sleep with your husband friend smh she definitely was in for the money she couldn’t see when he was cheating on her that he wasn’t in love with her that was her sign to leave his Cassaova cheating behind but I get it that she wanted to save her marriage well she failed that test by kidnapping AK and demanding money and thinking Batman would be on her side to kill AK plan back fired she lost her marriage and her life over her being so dumb and lonely. AK is the real deal I never read a chick that’s down like her these girls better take lessons from AK

Oh no see .Cas was to disrespectful for me how he gets to do so much dirt but don't have to face no consequences for it and like when she walked in on him twice she should've put a bullet in the girls every time ..just like he did her team ...man ain't no way ...hell was shonda still at the house when they got home...how her name rung bells but acting like a simple minded female dog when this man was pulling all these stunts and playing in her face every chance he got ...every female he was sleeping with should've been dead Cas is not a book bae he's an a-hole and a villain and all AK did was change places with Shanelle

So many twists and turns
Akira deserved better than she got with her first dude i can't believe he played her like that and the momma knew better too. Cassanova was a menace because he didn't have to off her whole crew like that it wasn't their fault they had a shady boss. I really thouvht shanell was smarter than that because why would you fall for the trap she literally could've asked him for the money and a divorce and lived a nice life. I knew it was batman she called up too and im so glad he stuck by his loyalty to Akira because she really was good to him even after everything happened.

My review
This is a true hood romance. AK has been betrayed by everyone in her life, which made her so hard. Loyalty is the main motif. I love the rawness & fearlessness that AK brings. Batman lives up to his name, & I love him. Casanova is something else though. Typical male. Does wrong but cries when he's done wrong. Barbie doesn't disappoint though. Another great hood Cinderella story.

AK was a mess. She didn't take shit from no one. Not even Mr. Casanova Brown, the Billionaire. They were an odd pair but they say opposites attract. Casanova try to make AK submit to him but the hood in her wouldn't let her. He thought of it as a challenge but didn't expect to fall in love. AK was so busy being hard and rebelling that love crept up on her. After all the trials and tribulations the went through, love came out on top. Good read.

Good Read
Really enjoyed this standalone from beginning to end. I really loved AK and Casanova together, they were meant for each other. With AK he finally learned what true love really was and vice versa. Shanell and Butts disloyal behind got exactly what they deserved. With Batman it was definitely loyalty over everything. Only drawback, would've loved a epilogue, so we'll hear about the baby and wedding, but still a good standalone. Good job Barbie Scott.

This was some ghetto s@#$. Now I love a ghetto romance, but really. How are you cheating but mad when you throw a dude on your wife, tell him not to sleep with her, and mad when she does. Then AK mad at the wife for cheating on her husband, but she is sleeping with the husband...da hell. This was all a hot mess....a hot mess. I like this author, but I did not like this book at all!!!

This story here…. Whew chile , this was a whole vibe from beginning to the end. Casanova and AK had my blood pressure going up and down . That man was about to have to beat his butt myself all the dumb stuff he was doing . AK was a real one through and through and she deserved to be treated like a queen. Butta and shanell was doing to much and I’m not surprised what happened . Overall this was a good read .

He loved hard and went to war even harder behind AK. ..How you ask someone to do something for you then get mad when they do it and prove your point while doing it..smh. I enjoyed reading this standalone and outside of very few errors, it was well written. I loved the way Cas went hard for Akira and definitely glad Shannell got what she deserved and that Batman wasn’t a snake. I’m gonna assume that Cas fires that Shondra since she was never spoke about again 😂

Yessssss this book was everything. AK was that Bish I love how everyone bowed down to Cassanova but her. She was everything he needed and more. I’m not goin to lie I’m mad that this book had to end. This was one book that definitely needed to be a series, but it was a BANGER and I hope there is a follow up in the near future.

Barbie you never disappoint me! You done did it again! This here is a great read. I was hooked from the beginning to the end! I would of rather he left his wife and told her the real reason why instead of testing her loyalty but he only did what she allowed.. Like Batman said Loyalty over everything!

This book was everything
Barbie you did your thing with this one. You gifted this book to me on Facebook and it was definitely worth it. The characters were developed and the ending was surprising. Glad Batman wasn't a snake even though Butta was. Shanell was money hungry. Looking forward to reading more from you Barbie!

This is a good book
I feel like this is a good stand-alone book but it needs more. I've read a few books by Barbie Scott and I feel that she's growing as a writer but the books are good and I just need more of a story. She should make him suffer. Her friend storyline should be really drawn out.

Good entertaining read from beginning to end. Casanova was a hard msn to please but AK wore him down. He was wrong what he did to Butta cause he set that up himself. I can’t believe that Shanell thought that AK people would actually turn on her and go against Casanova. Good read Author Barbie Amor.

Wow!! Loved this!! The whole time I was reading this, Teena Marie’s song was stuck in my head! Ironically in a chapter where sent AK to a glam squad for a special dinner on top of the mountains, the song was playing for her in the backdrop, how romantic!! AK didn’t care how much money he had, but his wife did!! That’s why the 2nd time around he chose love!! I need me some more Casanova and AK!!!

It was a fast and fun read
I did not like that she could not make it through a sentence without using the Fzzk word. It had two powerful lead characters, and seeing how they interacted was fun. Keep in mind that none of this is real. It would never go down the way the novel is written. So have fun and enjoy a fast read

Akira & Casanova too me through it!! The way these webs were weaving together with these relationships had me like woah 🤯 Cas had me wanting to choke him but AK was stubborn too. Shanell was ugh 😑 & Butta 🤷🏾♀️ I’m glad she lost Fero but Tasha still rubbed me wrong at times. Good read overall

I’m mad at Daisy, her loyalty was to AK not to snitch to Cass. What is Batman up to after he received the money? When is the wedding? I have so many questions that need a part 2😂😩😂.

Great short read. The lies, manipulation and deceit was something fierce. I don’t get how CAs put plans in motion then get upset but he did what he did. You clearly could see how AK got to his heart.
