IN BOOK 2 OF THE GIRL IN THE RABBIT HOLE THRILLER SERIES:
Hunted day and night, Claire Foley struggles to keep a low profile while digging deeper into the mysteries of The Project.
As she works through her plan, Claire is confronted by a bizarre request from a stranger with deep insight into those who oppose the nebulous shadow organization.
Faced with shocking, unexpected dangers and the prospect of betrayal, Claire embarks on an unpredictable path, leading to new threats, stunning surprises and an inevitable conflict against an unimaginable foe.
I have decided to continue with this series. It is a never ending rollercoaster of action where the underdog wins. It would seem that the “bad guys” would learn to let the “sleeping dog lie”……NNNNAAAAHHHHH!!!!
The lonely saga continues for Claire, as she continues to be hunted by the Project, and this time she becomes the reluctant guardian of a child. Claire can trust no one, and neither can we, as we delve into book 2 of this fast paced series. While things get confusing at times, the reader is taken along for a wild, crazy ride that makes time fly.
Claire has special gifts that the Project would like to exploit, to their evil ends. If captured, Claire will die and her gifts will be used against the world in the most evil of ways. This is another page turner, full of surprises that will make you eager to see what happens next.
In this sequel to the science fiction thriller - The Girl in the Rabbit Hole, Claire is on the run but now she is a guardian of a child that seems to be of great importance to The Project.
Once again this author’s vivid imagery just blew me away. His words come out almost poetically, placing you right in the midst of chaotic and dangerous secret organizations and games of cat and mouse.
This is a quick read that leaves you wanting more. Thank goodness there’s 3 more books left in this mini series
Very disappointing! Just when the plot began to get interesting, the story suddenly ended! Abruptly stopping after only 147 pages, with no real ending, this was not my idea of a novel but more a few chapters in the series to expand the plot. The pages that follow the story's final lines are the first chapter of the next installment in the series. This was not book 2, but installment 2. I will not continue the series.
The author used most of her words introducing new characters, instead of developing the remaing characters from previous story Dragging in a child, who was handed off by her mother, left an emptiness in the story. This is probably more appropriate for a teen population.
This is a different book from what I usually read..I liked it enough to read the whole series..very Good in keeping the action going and have you eager to turn the next page..
