We get a glimpse of Selina and Vance in Jaded by Love and I was intrigued by them. You don’t have to read that first but you probably will want to anyway after getting a glimpse of Connor and Aubrey.

Anyway, this story is short but so sweet and I fell for Vance and his need to not give up on Selina. I understood why Selina kept pushing back but also got frustrated with her and her decisions. In the end, she comes to her senses and I feel like she goes through some growth. It moves quickly and slowly at the same time and has the small town feel I love.

Seaside second chance love

I love novellas. They essentially give the full length feel of a novel that gives you an HEA within the short reading time that you might have available. Even better when it’s my second favourite trope – a second chance romance, because Author AJ Alexander is building on an intense love that had been lost but never moved on from – by either party.

The chemistry and the longing remained, but with Selina’s eye staying on the prize of a main stage role, she was taking no chances in getting close to him again, and I loved his dogged determination to show her that she was every bit as important to him as ever she had been. The beauty of novella book boyfriends is the accelerated time line in that while Vance was consistent in his continued efforts to change her mind, it didn’t come across as stalking. It was everything romantic and loving, the chemistry was ramped to high and I loved every word of this short story. Especially when he showed Selina and us, just what he’d been up to during her time away. Oh, the romance *sigh*

He’d made the biggest ever declaration of love. 4.5 Stars for their gorgeous story 🌸✿

Sometimes returning home is the best option, while its not ideal Selina uses the time to purchase the dance studio and to rehab her leg after landing a jump wrong. The goal to avoid the one person who makes her week to her knees so she can keep her dream. Vance is the only regret that Selina has when she left ten years ago to pursue her dreams of ballet. Vance is bound and determined to show Selina they could have had an amazing life together. They still have a chance. He has done everything that they ever dreamed of. But she left with out saying anything. Sometimes you just need a Do Over.
Loved this short read and we can’t wait for the next book in this series.

I love second chance romance and this does not disappoint. I loved all the characters from the first book in this series and I am so happy that these two had their story told. I do recommend reading the first one but you don’t have to to enjoy the story.

Second Chance Romance

Selina left her hometown and boyfriend Vance without a word to follow her dreams. She returns home after an accident to heal and hope for that call for another chance at her dream. Vance has waited and hoped for Selina to return home. He will not lose her this time. Do they both get their wishes?

This is book #2 in the Dixie Point series but can be read as a stand a lone but I would suggest reading book #1 Jaded by Love first (Connor and Audrey's story). Both books are quick and enjoyable reads. I can't wait for Bristol's story.

Seaside Do Over By A.J Alexander was such a wonderful Love Story . I was so fortunate to have been able to receive A Arc Copy For a Honest Review.I could not put Vance And Selena’s story down . This is book 2 in the Dixie Point series , and can be read as a stand alone . I would definitely start with book 1 though . One of my favorite messages in this book is that no matter how old you are , you can always find love .my emotions were all over the place while reading Vance and Selena’s story . I genuinely loved this book so very much . AJ Alexander is such a wonderful author , do not miss this amazing book ❤️💜

What you think you want can change with time! When your young you make choices that affect everyone not just you!

This story is amazing and shows that sometimes love can last beyond what you might believe and it can be better the second time around!

I love Seli and Vance they are a wonderful couple with intense chemistry in and out of the bedroom. They just get each other and I loved that!

When you read a book like this you just can’t help but have a sense of awe that someone else believes in a true happily ever after!

Book 2 in the Dixie Point series and it was a great addition. Loved Vance and Selina and their second chance at love. Selina is back in town after an injury sidelines her dream that she left him for when they were younger. Vance has never gotten over her and now that she was back, he felt this was his second chance and he wasn’t going to let her go again. Loved this second chance romance. Quick, fun read that will have leave a smile on your face when you are finished.

Seaside Do Over!

Seaside Do Over is the second book in AJ Alexander’s Dixie Point Series. In this book, Vance and Selina are given a second chance at the love they each carried from high school. Selina wanted to be a professional dancer, and she decided to follow her dream at the expense of her love for Vance. When she is injured, her dreams of dancing are cut short and she returns to town to recuperate. Now, she needs to face the man she left behind. Vance, on the other hand, never really moved on from loving Selina. Now that she’s home, he is determined to move past his pain at her leaving him, and move forward to make their past a future together.

I’m happy to say that Vance and Selina get their happy ever after, although they go thru many hurdles and miscommunications, the heart knows what the heart wants. And this time they both want the same thing,to be together.

I loved the chemistry between Vance and Selina. Even after years apart and a heartbreak you can still feel the love between them. From start to finish their story is truly beautiful and emotional. I loved that Vance never gave up on Selina and their relationship over the years. He knew that she was always the one from him and it was just about getting her to see how perfect they truly are together.

Selina had always dreamed of dancing professionally, and she wasn't going to let anything stop her. Even her high school love, Vance. So she left town without a word the night before they graduated from high school. Years later, an injury forces her to return home to recuperate, and to face the man that she left behind.

Vance has never stopped loving Selina. After she left, he tried to move on but its always been her. He has held out hope waiting for her, then she finally comes home.

This is a second chance at love story and how these two characters reunite. It shows that maybe sometimes the dreams we think we are chasing, really are standing in front of us.

This is the 2nd book in this series and is Vance and Selina’s story. Selena left Vance behind when she left town to follow her dream, and now her world is crumbling after a career ending injury, and she returns to her hometown. When Vance finds out that Selena is back, he is determined that she is not going to slip through his fingers, and needs to convince her to give them a 2nd chance. This is a well written quick read novella, which is fun, sweet, and an entertaining 2nd chance romance story. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.

Great book

Salina went of to college to dance and never said good bye to her ex boyfriend it's been years since she left but got injured and went back home to rest and rehab she Nottinghamshire dance studio and Vance finally broke her down and she went out with him. They fell in love again but she got called back for a part and went without a word again she had a change of heart and went back home and got their happy ever after

Seaside do Over, Dixie Pointe book 2 by A J Alexander is a wonderful story about second chances. Vance and Selina were high school sweethearts until Selina left to follow her dreams. Vance never stopped loving her. She returns to Dixie Pointe and Vance decides he will not let her go a second time. So much romance, swoon worthy and some very hot scenes between the two. Kudos!!!
