***
Twenty-four-year-old Natalie Paige almost has everything-the face, the fame, and the wealth. Everything but the love and attention of Terrence Brennan Samaniego. It proved to be difficult as the wealthy bachelor doctor keeps ignoring her advances. Soon, Sena learns that she must marry a stranger for business, and she drowns herself in alcohol only to end up spending the night with the same man she has been fantasizing for so long. It hurt her when he left her alone after the one-night stand, but it seems as if the heavens are siding with her as she discovers that the stranger she's marrying is Terrence himself! How will she approach the Samaniego who doesn't like her at all? Does she have what it takes to truly tame the billionaire?
This book is such an entertaining read, but it didn’t fully hit the mark for me. The chemistry between Natalie and Terrence is undeniable.
The characters have potential, but I found parts of their behavior frustrating. Certain drama felt dragged out, the pacing was uneven, and the characters occasionally acted in ways that didn’t quite match how they’d been built earlier. I kept thinking, “Why are you doing that?!” more than once. 😬
Even with those moments, I still enjoyed the book. The romance, the banter, and the emotional stakes kept me reading, and there are definitely scenes that made me swoon hard. It’s a fun, engaging read if you love classic billionaire romances — just be ready for a few “ugh” moments along the way.
