Chez was standing against the bed with his back to me. I didn't want to run away. There was something drawing me to him. How the hell had I ended up here? Had he kidnapped me? I slowly walked over to him and as I was about to place my hand on his shoulder he quickly turned around and pinned my throat against the wall with his hand and stared into me with his fierce red-lit eyes. I was stunned. Letting out a deathly howl he slid one of his hands down the buttons of my shirt. His lips close to the bottom of my chin. In that moment I wanted him...but then I didn't. What was wrong with me? He had taken me. "Chez, please don't. I shouldn't have come back." I faintly let out. I began to regret my decision. "Pen, I thought this is what you wanted. You wanted me to help you. To have you. To own you." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nested in the deep woods of Durham, North Carolina is a world of innocence and mystery with Penelope Ash. I really like this book. Only because it's not a long dramatic 600 page fiction romance. It's clear, it's relatively short, 260+ pages is still kind of long but it's a cool story! I think on Amazon I saw it under erotica which is good but it could definitely just be an erotic romance or just romance because it's not all about sex. That's why I liked it, i'm a scifi fan and this has a little bit of everything. There was fantasy, sex, and the protagonist is trying to figure out who she is. It's sexual but it doesn't really just revolve around sex like 50 shades of grey. It's like a mix between Twilight and 50. Anyway, so if you like fantasy and sex and love then I recommend.
Love the fantasy romance and like a little tease of erotic stuff. Came across my Facebook feed so took a chance cause it’s only $3.99 on ebook. I have a Nook so that was cool it was available there. Not sure if I’ve read a story that includes fantasy and erotica together, mostly to a very imaginary point. Thanks for sharing.
I really loved the story line to this book! The author did a phenomenal job with this book. Each chapter really keeps you intrigued and the cliff hanger towards the end just wow. I definitely would recommend this book!
The cover grabbed me loved it. It’s a very short book (16 chapters) and ends on a cliff hanger. The reason I gave it a three star rating is for the story line, I would have gave it 2 stars if it wasn’t for that. The writing was all over the place, there wasn’t much character development and a bit juvenile in the writing. I felt like I was reading a 5th grade chapter book with sex scenes. That being said, It really could have been a great book if the writing flowed more with better character development and had more depth to it.
I don't know where to start. The story is nice, but there are plot mistakes like she puts on a dress that he cut off her with a knife before. WTF??? There are other things that don't fit as well. And then there isn't an end. That has nothing to do with a good romance book. If I didn't need the book for my A-Z challenge, I would have DNF it. It's not worth reading 😔
