Growing up in the countryside of Wisconsin, I always wanted to be a writer. I've dabbled in poetry, short stories, and more daydreaming than most. Way back when, I remember long Sunday afternoon drives with my parents where they'd
tell us eight kids to, 'Look out the window and see something!'

I've been looking out the window ever since . . .

In the great Northwest pines, I saw a woman who had nowhere to run find refuge in the arms of a tender warrior seeking his own road to healing.
In the hills of Wyoming, I saw a broken man who thought he'd lost everything
rediscover the man he was in the eyes of a pretty girl.
And in the Dairy State, (yes Wisconsin), I saw two people fall in love
and overcome horrific obstacles on their way to happily-ever-after.

Life is short. Pick up a good book. Read. Write. Enjoy.
Look out the window and see something!

Jameson is another emotional addition to Irish Winters’s series, In The Company Of Snipers. There is certainly no lack of action or excitement throughout the book. Jameson is nothing short of amazing. He has not let his blindness slow him down or affect his life in the least and it is simply astounding what he can do. Maddie is just a sweetheart and you can’t help but fall in love with her. I absolutely loved everything about this wonderful story, from Jameson & Maddie to all the extras with Alex and his family, but most especially the epilogue. It was just so sweet and so darn emotional...get out the tissues for this one! Well, as if I have ever been able to read an Irish Winters book without a box of tissues near by! This is definitely another must read and one I don’t hesitate to recommend.

Jameson: in the Company of Snipers Book 22
Irish Winters
CPO Jameson “Saint “ Tenney , USN Seal, woke up, took inventory everything seemed to be there and in working order. Then his life changed in a flipping instant. Lt said the thing that would remain forever in his memory, “You’re Blind”. He’d saved 2 kids and and a donkey, but he was blind! Jameson’s World had shifted and he was fighting nothing kept Jameson Tenney down!
Fast forward five years. Cane, check, tie on straight check, Walker Judge had told Jameson to go see his friends at TEAM. Walker had told him exactly how to get there. One elevator ride later and he was there. “Jameson Tenney here for an interview with Mr. Alex Stewart. Mark Houston Senior Field agent surveyed the man sitting in front of him. I’ve only got one question. “When’s the best time to take a kill shot?” Jameson answered him. “if you want my honest opinion, best scenario would be never…? Just like that Jameson belonged to TEAM!
His first assignment: get Lucy Shade on board her private jet at Reagan tonight. Maddie Bannsiter TEAM Protocol Officer literally walked tight into Jameson. Lavendar scent, stammered apology, ran her fingers over his chest and that was only the introduction! Who was this delightful “feminine fluff”, what did she look like, why did the electricity attract him so much?
Glad to be thrown in to work right from the beginning, Jameson could only wonder about this delightfully female standing next to him. But little did he know just how much they would come to depend on each other, and how much she would come to mean , in just a short time.
Irish Winters has a great ability to thread several storylines into one big, beautiful read. This book has a few. Alex and Kelsey Stewart dealing with new baby Bradley when in walks Mel Stewart Alex’s long lost almost forgotten Dad. But there’s more here. Jameson meets Maddie, who takes him to Reagan to start his tenure with TEAM. Should be a piece of cake but its anything but! BOOM, everything exploded. How do the threads connect? Seems that some people have been lying about who they really are, but Why? And how does this impact the story? If you’re looking for a thriller with suspense, romance and humanity all thrown in together, this is your book! Get ready to I want to shred something, laugh and cry all at the same time!
I was an ARC but the Review is all mine and freely given!

Oh boy, whoever said that there was no such thing as Love at First Sight had never encountered the instant sizzling chemistry between Jameson Tenney and Maddie Bannister.
Jameson, a much decorated navy SEAL was blinded by a daisy chain bomb whilst on a mission.......was Jameson going to sit back and lick his wounds, no he wasn't.
It was just after being accepted to join the TEAM, a security firm made up of highly decorated military personnel and led by Alex Stewart that he literally bumped into Maddie, Alex's right hand woman.
This story has so many aspects going in different directions but all being cleverly brought together at the end.
How does Krav Maga, an Islamic form of self defence help blind Jameson perform as an active agent ?
Why is Maddie so petrified ?
Why has Alex's much despised father appeared ?
What is the connection to the Irish mafia ?
This story has everything, fast action, nail biting suspense and sizzling romance.
I love the way that Irish Winters brings back the the strong likable characters from the previous books in the series like old friends but still keeping the books as standalones.
I love the close comradeship and absolute loyalty that exists in the TEAM and the protective adoration they have for their wives.
I read this late into the night, I really didn't want to put it down and I had absolutely no idea how the corkscrew would unwind , a well deserved five stars and I look forward to the next in the brilliant series "In the company of snipers"
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

*****A MUST READ

I thought Irish’s last book, Maverick, was wonderful but Jameson grabbed my heart from word one and held on until the very last word. So sad it ended!
Who would have thought one of Irish’s heroes would be blind? Would lack of sight hinder our hero? NO! It only enhanced the character. As always the storyline was fresh, active and so very tender. I laughed, I cried, and I felt every emotion in between. The story moved from Jameson to Alex and combined the storylines in such an incredible twist that I was speechless. So perfect! When Maddie comes onto the scene, you know that the story can only get hotter. And boy does it get hot!!!

Jameson, even though blind, is one of the most capable agents Alex has hired. He gets the job done by his ability to use his other senses at a higher level. I love how Alex believes in giving these men a second chance and helping them see their true potential. Jameson gives 150% of himself for this first job, for his new boss, and even more for Maddie. As Maddie is fighting her own demons, he ex and the disaster he brought her into, the two take out the bad guys and find the love they never thought they would fight.
An amazing twist is the storyline for Alex and his family. It captured my heart and made me feel like I was coming home. I always love when the whole crew comes to join the story.
I highly recommend this book, well really…..all her books. Jameson is amazing! Heartwarming! Active-filled.

Jameson & Maddie/Mad Dog

She's done it again! Another absolute winner read!

Jameson is a SEAL and nothing like losing his sight is gonna change him from being the best warrior ever. Who but Alex Stewart would take a chance "sight unseen" on the word of another man he respects and hire him.

Jameson is amazing far more than most men with sight. When Maddie runs into him--literally--she is about to find out on the experience of her life. She is trying to deal with a problem her rotten ex-husband left when he took off. She can't tell the team what she's going through. She can't fail again.

The two get sent on what should be a routine bodyguard mission that is so much more. Between the two and the team, there is going to be a major enemy situation. No one is ready for that.

There are surprises galore, team interaction, family time, kids who are definitely their parent's offsprings, and a love story that will melt your heart--oh yeah, and don't forget the steam. Each of them has amazing strength that is just stronger, better together.

How the author keeps new and amazing stories going in this series is beyond me. I don't know how she does it but I am going to keep enjoying them. The great thing is whether you are new to the series or this is your first it doesn't matter because each is complete. If you want to smile, cry, fall in love, and experience every other emotion this is the book for you.

You can just FEEL the insane chemistry and love between Jameson and Maddie.

Irish Winters brings us Jameson Tenney. He’s a remarkable navy Seal that will touch your heart.
Against the odds he’s become a great addition to the Team. It’s exciting to see how these two heartfelt beautiful stories fit together so perfectly.

Jameson Tenney just started a new job with the Team. Alex Stewart and his Team are the best. Jameson’s special skills are just what Alex is looking for.
Navy Seal Jameson Tenney lost his sight while on a mission. But he doesn’t need eyes to see Maddie Bannister, The bosses go to girl. One touch from her and his senses go on high alert. He feels an instant connection. But Maddie has secrets and he’s a patient man. His protective instincts are on high alert. He’s gonna need all of his skills to protect the woman he loves.

Alex Stewart just welcomed a new baby boy. He’s overwhelmed by how much love he feels for his wife and children. And his Team is family. Life is good. Until his father shows up. Why now? Why did he abandon his family years ago?

Irish Winters amazed me again! A slightly different story from other books in the series. Usually the men and women working for Alex on the TEAM take on a serious mission in another country, or the US, and it reads like a movie script. I really enjoy those books but this was a pleasant change. While there’s gun fire and suspense, it felt more romantic and even humorous (Jameson can ham it up). Jameson became blind while serving as a SEAL, which heightened his other senses. This was the part I really enjoyed, the idea that this man was still able to be a Junior Agent without sight. He was never hindered by his disability but seemed better. So while we meet Jameson, and Maddie, we get a lot more of Alex and his family. It’s sort of a mix of two stories about Alex and Jameson, and then merge together. Don’t worry if you have not read the other books, the guys have cameos and Alex started it all, but each is separate. I received my copy early and wrote my review voluntarily.

USN SEAL Chief Petty Officer Jameson Tenney, aka Saint, had been seriously injured and sent home from the desert. His injuries required a long rehab and very specialized training. While his career with the Navy was over, he was fully independent and anxious to get back to work. When offered a job by The Team, he couldn’t wait to get started.

Maddie Bannister, Team Protocol Officer, had always wanted to serve her country. Spending a lifetime around demeaning men had damaged any confidence that she would succeed. She went the safe route with an accounting degree. Landing her dream job with The Team had been the best thing to happen in her life, yet her frequent tardiness left her in fear of losing that, too.

Together, they set out on a simple first assignment. No one saw the fireworks coming…..

Another wonderful read from Irish Winters. I couldn’t put it down!

Jameson is a Navy Seal. While rescuing 2 boys and a donkey, he is injured. Now he is blind.
Maddie works for Alex as a Protocol Officer. She had wanted to be a Marine but had listened to her abusive father and never followed through. She is also dealing with loan sharks coming after her due to her ex husband.
Jameson and Maddie were kidnapped. They need to work together to get free. They can't believe that this all started because they were supposed to be bodyguards to a spoiled reporter, or so they thought.
Maddie has gone off on her own to stop the person who wants her and Jameson dead. Will the guys find her in time?
Alex has just become a daddy again. While on top of the world, his father is standing ar the door. Alex wants him gone. Unfortunately, others are noticing something he isn't. Will Alex help him?

Another great book by Irish Winters. In this book all of Alex's family is involved from beginning to end. Jameson is another great character with a disability. He does not let his blindness stop him from living his best life. Meeting Maddie was a perfect match for him as she looks at him like a man not somebody with a disability. This book has so many twists and turns it was impossible to put the book down. Seeing Alex in a new light as to becoming a father again and then re-connecting with this father as an adult. Now finding out about Alex's childhood was very emotional. Maddie also had a rough childhood and to find her mother as an adult was very refreshing. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Wow, this book had loads going on. I couldn't put book down once I started.

We got to see all the favourite characters in this book. Also we got to catch up with Alex and Kelsey.

I loved Jameson and Maddie together, they meet one day and get thrown on a operation together. They both have feelings for each other on the off. They go through a lot in that just one operation, but they also find love in each other.

I loved the dynamic of this couple and The Team.

Irish Winters did an amazing job once again.

Let me just say that I did NOT want Jameson to end! It was certainly one of those stories that you want to just keep going on and on....LOVE the spitfire Maddie who is hiding so much mental abuse beneath her bluster. Jameson, even though blind, is the true gentleman that ladies everywhere are searching for. He is a ninja in disguise, a soft hearted hunk of muscle and magic.
Oh yes you do need to read this one.....as well as all of the others! Just cannot get enough of the books by Irish Winters!

The first 2 chapters had me in tears.
What an opening. First Jameson and what his history was and then Alex and Kelsey and what could have gone wrong.
I really enjoyed this story. The characters and storyline as always was fantastic.
I also thoroughly love being about to catch up with old friends and see how the rest of the TEAM are going.
My only question is Mother, what happened to you and will you come out the other side?

Let me say that In the Company of Snipers is one of my all time favorite series ! I was hooked with Alex , and didn’t think Irish Winters could top that , but she continues to with each addition to the series. I think I fell as hard for Jameson as I did for Alex , and it didn’t hurt that Alex was all over this book ! I so loved this book... Jameson was one of the strongest characters I’ve ever seen , along with one that just tore up my heart! One of her best !

One of her best ever!

I didn't think Irish could too her first story in this series, Alex, but she did! All of these books have such heart and warmth make you feel so much for the TEAM guys in her stories, but from the very beginning Jameson seems to make you feel so much more! And Maddie is so very realistic and so much the type of person the average reader can identify with, just makes this book and author one of my very favorites.

Book 22 and going strong

This is book 22 and it still a strong series. I loved this story. It was fun to have a blind hero and walk through a story through his “eyes”. I Loved how the past was brought into the present and kept fresh. Although you can read these books is any order starting from the first one with Alex will bring a lot more enjoyment and you will re read these stories over and over They are that good!!

Exceptional novel!

Whoa! Another very beautiful novel. Very well written. I couldn't put it down. I can't even choose which book is my favourite, I have read from book 1 to book 22 and I can say every single one of these books are exceptionally written and gripping. You'd not want to put it down, and when you finish You'd want more. Thanks Irish Winters. You write beautifully. Now I'm looking forward to Tripp's story.

This white hat carries a white cane!

I was hesitant to buy this book, because I doubted a story about a blind agent would be of interest. Oh how wrong I was. Jameson's tale was a fantastic read. There were so many uplifting lessons in strength and bravery I will need to re-read to absorb them all. Maddie & Jameson are a perfect addition to the TEAM family. I especially loved the ending. I can't wait for the next installment to this wonderful series.

Jameson

Great tale of overcoming adversity and refusing to be disabled. Of upskilling so you more than compensate for what you don’t have. A valuable operative believable but a hired bodyguard not so much.

Jameson and Maddie

I think this is my favorite story so far. The courage, strength and love is amazing to read about. Jameson had battle injuries Maddie had life injuries. Both were able to find a way to rise above them and find each other.
