Solo la cover si salva per il resto ho trovato un libro senza senso, sarà che non amo i club di motociclisti e dintorni in più mettiamoci la rapidità con cui si innamorano etc. Che dire questa autrice dopo la serie calendar girl non mi è piaciuta più. Libro breve ma noioso. ⭐️⭐️ stelline.

Malheureusement, ce livre n’était vraiment pas fait pour moi. J’ai voulu abandonner ma lecture bon nombre de fois et ce, malgré le fait que je trouvais le sujet intéressant.
D’abord et avant tout, ce qui m’a dérangé, c’est la piètre qualité de la traduction. Les mots et les expressions utilisés étaient répétitifs et souvent TRÈS mal choisis pour le contexte. Appeler un vagin "un pot de miel" quand t’es une biker, hmm.. non merci. Et pire encore, ce sont les fautes d’orthographes et de ponctuation qui sont présentent ici et là dans le livre.
J’ai aussi eu beaucoup de difficulté avec la personnalité des personnages. Impossible pour moi de m’attacher d’une quelconque façon à eux. Leurs échanges étaient trop souvent ridicule et ne correspondaient pas à un ambiance de club de Biker. La faute de la traduction encore une fois, peut-être.
C’est un livre où tout s’enchaine à une vitesse folle, ça manque de réalisme et surtout, de profondeur.
En bonus, J’ai trouvé que c’était vulgaire et TRÈS misogyne. J’ai peine à croire qu’une femme puisse avoir écrit un livre aussi dégradant. C’est.. horrible.
Bref, Je suis déçu, bin déçu.
Je ne compte pas lire les autres tome.
Je vous laisse avec un extrait pour vous donner une idée de ce qu’on retrouve dans le livre : « Le meilleur atout que tu disposes en tant que femme est le trésor que tu caches entre tes cuisses. Les bikers n’aiment pas qu’on les prive de leur miel. » !

Shay non è propriamente una “principessa”, ma uno spirito libero che ama andare in moto, da vera motociclista. Durante l’apertura del suo nuovo negozio, i genitori le dimostrano il loro apprezzamento dicendole apertamente quanto siano fieri di lei:
«Crediamo in te principessa» «Tu sarai il primo per tutto, papà».
Lui fa un cenno alla moglie mentre lei alza gli occhi al cielo, perché sa perfettamente che il marito ha un debole per la figlia.
«Vedi, questa è la mia piccola, la mia bambina, la mia principessa motociclista».
Il padre è lo stimato presidente del Club motociclistico Hero’s Pride, nel quale ogni appartenente svolge un certo compito e ha un preciso dovere.
L’accordo con il Branco è che tutti quanti devono in qualche modo servire la comunità o il Paese. Che si tratti di esercito, pompieri, medici. La regola principale per entrare nel club è: servire. E da qui il nome Hero’s Pride.
Ma il vero principio da seguire e sul quale non si transige, è che “la figlia del capo non si tocca”.
Shay, però, si invaghisce del nuovo vicepresidente del Club, un uomo affascinante e imponente che vuole essere chiamato soltanto Rex. Sono stati suo padre e i suoi fratelli a dargli il nome da strada “TRex”. La T è una combinazione del suo vero nome, Taggart, e del fatto che è grande e cattivo come un T-Rex.
Lui fin da subito resta colpito dalla sua bellezza, guardandola con ammirazione, soffermandosi sugli stivali con i tacchi vertiginosi che indossa, i pantaloni di pelle, la canotta della Harley, i capelli selvaggi e l’argento sulle dita, il collo e i polsi.
«Temo che niente mi tratterrà dal provare a vincerti. Quando vedo qualcosa che voglio, me lo prendo. E piccola, ora ti ho vista». Shay gli sorride, sorniona, come se conoscesse la battuta finale di una barzelletta che non ha ancora sentito. «Cambierai idea, vedrai, perché sono la principessa dei biker».
E gli fa l’occhiolino, come se questo spiegasse tutto.
Rex, che non ama mentire ai suoi fratelli, decide di raccontare ai membri del Club di come Shay lo abbia stregato. La loro reazione lascerà di stucco il lettore:
«Se prendi una donna come tua signora, bruci per lei. Poi, il club farà di tutto per proteggerla come una dei suoi».
Parto subito dicendo che ritengo barbaro il modo in cui Rex viene punito dal Branco, ma anche che ho trovato inverosimile la tempistica con la quale lui abbia reclamato la “principessa” come sua signora.
La mancanza di una trama e la presenza di alcune espressioni poco eleganti hanno reso la lettura non positiva per me. Posso provare a capire che si tratti di un ambiente particolare, appunto quello dei motociclisti, ma ciò non giustifica appieno la scelta di un linguaggio prettamente volgare.
Non assegnerò un voto più basso perché intendo comunque premiare l'autrice per l'impegno, ciò non toglie che Baby girl non ha proprio fatto breccia nel mio cuore

Biker Babe was my first Audrey Carlan book and so much fun to read. It is an insta-love story that gives you everything you could want inside the pages. Even though it was instant love for our leading characters doesn’t mean it was all that easy. Some things had to be gone through to actually get their happily ever after! Our supporting characters are tough, loving and a whole lot of fun. Some are kind of intense and make you wonder what their story is. Rex leaves no doubt that “Princess” is worth everything and that she is his queen in every way.
With this quick little novella of fun you better put on your helmet and hang on tight!

I love Audrey's books. She has a way with words that sucks you in from the beginning and they don't let go till the very end, and Biker Babe was no exception.
It's been some time now since a new release by the author came out, so the moment I heard about this new series, I was over the moon!
Biker Babe is fairly short but does not lack detail, or substance for that matter. It's an insta-love that holds heat, suspense, drama and what is promised to be an epic series of books.
Shay is a smart, driven, outspoken, beautiful princess. Born and bred into this royalty and when I say royalty I don't mean the typical kind. She's the daughter of the president of a bikers club called Hero’s Pride and her mother? She's the old lady, the Queen of it. They are royalty among the bikers. Shay wanted to open up her own shop. A gift shop called Biker Babe, she wants to live her own life and be her own person so opening this shop is helping her achieve that. She independent, and doesn't expect any help from anyone.
Rex is the new vice president of the Oregon chapter of the Hero’s Pride, originally from the California chapter were and he has always had eyes for Shay but Shay swore off dating any biker, let alone one from her dad's club. Rex comes waltzing into her life and this man, you have to understand is near on impossible to resist. He can make any woman go weak at the knees just with one look but can he will he be able to change Shay's mind? Is Shay strong enough to resist this man... Or will she be putty in his hands?
Well, you will have to read it to find out!
When these two are put together, it's as though the room heats up, the chemistry, sexual tension, and attraction is there... and it's intense. Honestly, no woman's ovaries stand a chance when it comes to this man... As the book progresses.. the desire between them thickens. They each balance each other out in away. It was hot, it was intense, it was additive and it was all-consuming. I loved the way these two came together, yet that push and pull were still evident.
I absolutely loved this book! It's definitely not Audrey's usual style. Which isn't a bad thing. It's still just as amazing and awesome! The author has created a plot that had my attention from page one. Her style of writing is as always flawless, down to each and every fine detail.
This is going to be one hell of a bumpy ride and I cannot wait to see where she goes with this new series!

Couple things made me jump on this ARC:
Audrey Carlan is a new-to-me author. (I like to read at least one a month)
Short/Novellas stories so if I didn't mesh with it it wouldn't be a huge investment.
The promise of heat and sweet.
For my taste, the story was a lot over the top. Like unnecessarily OTT. Everything about it was over the top. By adding even just a chapter or two, the story-line could have been a bit more realistic and still stayed within the category of short/novella. I'm not going to nit-pick my way thru the plot points but this wasn't a #win for me, however, it's not a total loss because I'm still intrigued enough to read the next book ... *shrug* we shall see how that goes.

By far the worst book I’ve ever read, looks like a bad wattpad story written by a 9 y/o, sorry for being that rude but that’s just a big no. Please don’t read it, literally just a waste of time.
Didn’t even finish it, I only read 4 chapters (forcing myself) and then closed the book.

4 Star Review Biker Babe (Biker Beauties #1)by Audrey Carlan
I know this is hard to believe but this is the first book I have read by Audrey Carlan. When I heard she had a new series releasing I jumped at the chance to read and review.
Excited to have opened her shop Biker Babe, Shay is determined to make it a success. The last thing she needs is to be attracted to Rex.
I really enjoyed Biker Babe, from start to finish Ms. Carlan drew me in and held me captive with the story she wove about Shay aka Princess, the daughter of the President of the Hero’s Pride MC and it’s new vice president Taggart “Rex” Crawford.
The chemistry between Shay and Rex is scorching and you could feel the intensity rising. The banter between them was entertaining and the writing was strong. Shay and Rex are well suited for one another as neither of them make it easy for the other.
Although a novella, the story packed a punch. Ms. Carlan’s characters were strong, the women feisty and the men so darn Alpha it almost hurts. They love hard, they play hard and there is just something about these men and their women that really intrigued me.
Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Pour faire simple, rien ne va dans ce bouquin. C'est écrit avec le cul, les dialogues sont tout pétés, on nous promet une romance cachée mais que les protagonistes le révèle a tout le monde le jour d'après avoir jouer aux cartes ensemble, il y a des métaphores vraiment chelou avec le miel, et en plus c'est extrêmement misogyne et sexiste.

Ho un rapporto difficile con la Carlan, a volte la amo altre la odio ma adoro i libri sui Motorcycle Club, quindi quando ho visto che aveva scritto una serie su di loro e che la protagonista era una donna motociclista non c'era possibilità alcuna che non lo leggessi.
Peccato che sono partita con la lettura aspettandomi un romanzo di 320 pagine come segnalato sul sito Newton (sicuramente per un errore) e in realtà mi son ritrovata con una novella di circa 110 pagine.
Shay è la figlia del presidente di un club di motociclisti chiamato Hero's Pride ed è considerata la principessa del Club, quindi intoccabile. Finalmente riesce con l'aiuto dei suoi genitori a realizzare il suo sogno e aprire un negozio che vende articoli per motociclisti, abiti, accessori, tutto ciò che di solito amano uomini e donne che fanno parte di quel mondo. Rex è il nuovo vice presidente dell'Eroe's Pride dell'Oregon, ma proviene dalla sezione californiana del club dalla quale si sta allontanando per delle incomprensioni con il padre che ne era il presidente. Sfortunatamente ho trovato questo libro davvero deludente, non solo per il numero di pagine che sicuramente incide negativamente sul plot, ma anche per il linguaggio, la costruzione dei personaggi e la struttura stessa, non è stato all'altezza sotto nessun punto di vista. Insomma Micetta e T-Rex non mi hanno affatto convinta.
Ho un rapporto difficile con la Carlan, a volte la amo altre la odio ma adoro i libri sui Motorcycle Club, quindi quando ho visto che aveva scritto una serie su di loro e che la protagonista era una donna motociclista non c'era possibilità alcuna che non lo leggessi.
Peccato che sono partita con la lettura aspettandomi un romanzo di 320 pagine come segnalato sul sito Newton (sicuramente per un errore) e in realtà mi son ritrovata con una novella di circa 110 pagine.
Shay è la figlia del presidente di un club di motociclisti chiamato Hero's Pride ed è considerata la principessa del Club, quindi intoccabile. Finalmente riesce con l'aiuto dei suoi genitori a realizzare il suo sogno e aprire un negozio che vende articoli per motociclisti, abiti, accessori, tutto ciò che di solito amano uomini e donne che fanno parte di quel mondo. MC books are one of my favourite genres so when I saw Audrey was writing a new series I knew i had to read it.
This was a quick novella read however unfortunately it fell short for me. Everything felt OTT and the dialogue was over exaggerated. I never felt like I got to know the characters very well or felt any connection between them apart from sexual chemistry. I adore this author so I will check out future books in the series.

This is a new author to me, and I will certainly be looking out for her work in the future. This is the 1st book in a series of novellas from this author. Shay / Princess is excited to open her own business, and when Rex walks in, the chemistry between these two in undeniable. Problem being Shay is the “Princess” as her dad is president of his MC, and Rex is his VP. This is a well written story which is sweet, and a quick, entertaining read.

Okay l'insta-love ma così è troppo. Superficiale, sbrigativo, poco strutturato. La storia sarebbe anche carina, ma non è approfondita, è tutto veloce e poco emozionale. Non si riesce ad entrare in sintonia con i protagonisti o le loro storie.

je crois que je n’ai jamais autant détester un livre. le seule point positif ce que j’aime beaucoup la protagoniste. sinon l’histoire est BEAUCOUP trop rapide, au bout de 2 heures ils sont déjà amoureux, faut pas déconner les gars. le protagoniste rex a un ego surdimensionner vraiment je l’aime tellement pas. j’ai pas du tout aimer leur relation. j’ai pas du tout aimer

This was a short and sexy story about a biker getting the girl and doing what he has to do to earn the respect of her "family". Total insta-love story with all the feels and total biker hotness. Enjoyed it right to the end.

Addictiveness: 5/5 This was a fast, fun, sexy read. It kept me going and wanting more. As addictive as chocolate!!!
Character: hero 4/5, heroine 4/5, secondary characters 4/5, growth 4/5, real 3.5/5 The characters were very likable and easy to understand, but I wished we knew more of them. They were sort of one-sided.
Shay was the princess of the MC, being the daughter of the president and growing up inside of the club. Everybody treated her as a little niece or sister. She was 25, really close to her twin brother and was finally doing her own thing by getting her own store of bikers clothes and accessories. She didn't date bikers and had an annoying ex-boyfriend. When she met Rex, was when he was rescuing her from her ex. It was insta-love, but she knew she needed to avoid him because her brother and father would never accept their relationship. She wasn't expecting Rex to be a force to reckon with and to be willing to risk it all.
Rex was an ex-military part of the Pride chapter in California, that decided to move because he didn't like the way his father was leading the club there. He knew that the management in Grant Pass, Oregon would do something to help and he felt at home there. He was definitely not looking for a woman, but the moment he saw her, he knew she was going to be his end.
When he found out she was Riot's, the president, daughter, he knew he was screwed. He wouldn't be able to walk away, he would need to claimed her. He decided to jump right on, accept his punishment, so he could have his own old lady. Rex was an amazing boyfriend, very hot and sweet at the same time.
We know this is going to be a long, interesting series, because it had several secondary characters that deserve their own book. Can't wait to meet them all!
Villains.. antagonists… that was no villain here yet, but one antagonist. The biggest conflict here was the couple and their forbidden love.
All characters were easy to love and understand, but we didn't have much background for really connecting with them!!!
Cover: art 5/5, title 5/5, color-font 5/5, buy 5/5 I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. I love this cover. It is gorgeous. It almost looks like a painting. The colors were very artfully used here and they enhance the badass lady on top of the bike. The title is very catchy and the whole effect is almost ethereal. I would definitely buy this book by its cover without needing to read the blurb!
Freshness: 4/5 This is another contemporary MC romance and it has most of the clichés that all books of the trope have. But at the same time, it has a fresh vibe. Even though the club is being portray, the author is putting a shining light into the ladies that make the club function. As fresh mint tea!!!
Romance: believable 4/5, chemistry 5/5, description 5/5, development 3/5, steam 4/5 This was insta-love, with the chemistry between the couple hitting the top from the beginning. From the first moment they say each other, sparks were flying and everything was intense. There was a lot of smut, but they were all fun and very hot. They didn't feel bad or excessive. Their love story went from 8 to 80 very fast, but it was very powerful. SEXY LOVE!!!
Writing Style: 3.5/5 This was a fun, sexy story with easy to love characters, great smut and good plot concept. The setting created here was great and I can see this series being a long, enjoyable one. Good writing!
Plot: believable 3/5, conflict 4/5, dialogue 4/5, ending 5/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 5/5, pace 4/5, setting 5/5, subplots 4/5, twists 4/5 This story was really fast which made the plot very unbelievable. The insta-love, how everything was solved, it all felt over-the-top. The conflict was good, the dialogues were sexy and the pace was too fast. I loved the setting and I've enjoyed the subplot, even though I think it was solved too soon. There was a couple of interesting twists, making the overall plot good, but not great. Good level of enjoyment!
This was a good beginning for a promising series. The world built here had lots of interesting characters that probably will get books telling their story.
I wished I had more background on the characters, but I also knew this was a novella and novellas usually are more superficial on details.
I'm looking forward to Shane's book!

Très problématique ce livre ?? Hyper vulgaire et misogyne. Le gars dit h24 que la fille est sa propriété ( déjà en quel honneur ??) et l'histoire est super rapide ? A 2 chapitres ils sont déjà amoureux. Bref désolé mais c'est un des pires livres que j'ai lu de ma vie .

Alors… J’en ai des choses à dire sur ce roman. A sa sortie, je dois avouer que cette saga m’a beaucoup intriguée. Ayant apprécier Calendar girl, je me suis dis une nouvelle saga d’Audrey Carlan ça va être génial! Avec le monde des bikers en plus, j’étais sûre que j’allais passer un excellent moment. Lors de sa sortie, ce fut la déception. J’ai vu des avis négatifs de partout. Dès que je voyais quelqu’un en parler, c’était un avis plus que négatif… Du coup ça m’a énormément refroidi. Je ne voulais pas le lire mais à force je me suis dis qu’il fallait que je me fasse mon propre avis. Peut être que j’allais finalement aimé. Et bien désolé de vous décevoir mais non absolument pas… Ce fut une catastrophe.
Sincèrement, je ne sais même pas par quoi commencer tant j’ai de choses à dire. Je vais être méchante mais j’ai rarement lu un livre aussi mauvais… Je n’ai jamais lu de romans sur le monde de bikers donc je ne peux pas comparer. Et je ne connais pas non plus le monde des bikers mais je doute tout de même que ça se passe comme ça en réalité. Ça m’a paru si peu crédible en vérité… Je pense que l’auteur aurait du peut être faire un travail de recherche plus poussé, histoire d’en apprendre vraiment plus sur ce monde et rendre son histoire bien plus crédible que ce qui nous est proposé ici.. Je crois même que jamais je n’ai autant levé les yeux au ciel, fait des têtes étrange et compagnie… Non vraiment j’en suis encore toute retournée tant je ne m’en remets pas de cette lecture.

Non vraiment mon dieu, je n’ai jamais vu des personnages aussi débiles, excusez moi du terme mais c’est la vérité… On va commencer par Rex, parce que je crois que c’est lui qui m’a le plus fait rire tant il est peu crédible… Il va tomber par hasard sur Shay, au premier regard le gars a une érection, oui oui vous avez très bien lu… Il va donc allez la voir et lui faire comprendre qu’il la veut. Oui tout ça au premier regard. Tout le long du roman, qui se déroule en quelques jours, il est là à dire ma femme, ma femme. Le lendemain de leur rencontre ou le soir je ne sais même plus, ils ont une relation sexuelle et lui il regarde Shay en se disant « j’aime voir ma femme comme ça ».. Mais tu la connais depuis quelques heures seulement?!?! Quant à Shay, c’est exactement pareil. Au premier regarde c’est l’homme de ma vie, mon bébé et compagnie. C’était juste insupportable à lire. Mais le pire c’est la répétition de « Chérie » on le mange à toutes les sauces, à chaque page c’est vraiment juste horrible à lire. Tout va beaucoup trop vite, en quelques jours c’est le grand amour de leur vie, il fait sa demande officiel auprès du club et patati et patata. Je ne dis pas tout sinon je vais vous spoiler mais c’est insupportable.

Elle se fait tatouer sur la fesse, « Propriété de Rex » SUR LA FESSE?!?! Non mais c’est vraiment sérieux???? C’est quel genre de comportement ça? Franchement ça m’a outré tant je trouve ça vulgaire et horrible…

I really enjoyed Biker Babe! I only wish that the story were a bit longer. I wasn’t quite ready for it to end when it did.
A great start to a new series! I’m looking forward to the Biker Beloved, the next book in the series.

After reading Biker Babe, I wish Audrey Carlan wrote a biker series years ago. If you think you’re reading the same kind of MC story that’s already out there, it’s not because it’s so much better! What I love about this book is the unique twist she gave it. Plus, it’s off the charts hot! Rex and Shay have this amazing chemistry that every couple should be lucky enough to have. Rex is sexy and so loyal and protective of his biker beauty. I adore her sass and spirit, but she’s as sweet as she is fierce. The intense pull this couple has is like a fire you can’t put out!
Wait until you meet Mags! Everyone needs a Mags in there life. I always adore the supporting characters in Audrey’s stories and I have a feeling I���m about to have a lot of new favorites! I have a whole new appreciation for motorcycles or maybe it’s the hotties that ride them or both. Biker Babe is fire and intensity with never ending pride and love!

4.5 Stars for Biker Babe the first book in the new Biker Beauties by Audrey Carlan
I was excited when I heard we were getting a new series and I wasn’t disappointed because this book gave me everything I want in a first book and I was certainly left wanting more from the Hero’s Pride MC members and their families and friends.
Shay aka Princess is the daughter of the president of the Hero’s Pride MC so technically she should be off limits to all members of the MC but the new Vice President has other ideas. Rex is attracted to Shay from the moment their eyes met and he doesn’t take long to claim her as his old lady......but will the other members and her father allow this to happen......
The chemistry between Shay and Rex was intense, the banter was witty and entertaining and once again this author has given us a group of characters we will want to hear more about. Looking forward to book two n what certainly looks like a hit series in the making.

Love these biker babes! 5 stars
I have only read one other MC series, and I liked it but didn’t love it. So I did not think MC books were for me. But I was wrong; it just had to be written by Audrey Carlan! I loved several of her series', so this is why I wanted to try this book. I am so glad I did, because I loved it from the beginning! They first meeting between Shay & Rex was sizzling, and I was hooked! You have to be good with insta-attraction to insta-love because that is what they have and escalates from there, and I was definitely good with it! Shay is fiery, and I delighted in that just like Rex did! Rex is the total Alpha package, and I couldn’t get enough! I enjoyed the world building and all the characters we met, and I can’t wait to read the next novella! If you love a quick, fun, steamy read like I do, then I recommend this novella!

I devoured this novella, it was so good!! If you have read Audrey before, this is so different than everything else she writes but it's so much fun!! It's fast paced and a quick story so don't expect a full sized book but i couldn't put it down. The fiery chemistry between these two bad*** bikers is crazy fun and enjoyable! I can't wait for Shanes, aka Whip, story next, i love a single dad so im highly excited to get my hands on *Biker Beloved*
But seriously grab a copy of this gem and have a fun steamy afternoon read. If you like crazy insta chemistry, bad*** bikers who love their old ladies fiercely or just a fun love story! You will enjoy Biker Babe ❤
