Interesting and solid collection of 13 stories of different length. There wasn't groundbreaking new stuff inside, but I liked the illustrations to the stories and with "Boomer, Once Dead" and "The Cemetery Man" there were two of my personal highlights. The tales weren't too excessive and gory, some were based on urban legends. They were well written and had a fine twist at the end. Recommended!
A collection of short ghosts and horror stories which have kept me turning the pages!! I would have given it three and half stars, but still no way at goodreads..
The stories come along in the company of a beautiful art work by Jane Font.. The art work is very good and just right for the Halloween season, to get in the right mood!!
Having said that, you'll find better collections of short stories as those.. But if you doesn't take it too serious, then you will be entertained for sure..

I loved this book! Grabs and holds you to the very end. The characters are so relatable and their voices Are so authentic. Think Stephen King early in his career when he considered each word carefully. This is That good. Artwork is perfectly eerie and stays with you long after the stories have been told.
This book was able to capture my attention from the first page to the last. I kept saying one more story before i go to bed. Before i knew it, I was finished. This seriously gorgeous book is filled with art work that really sets the tone for the 13 stories.
These stories that varied in length were atmospheric and creepy. There was no gore juat eerie tales of the unseen and legends.
I loved this book. It is just the right amount of creepy for an autumn night in (which lets face it, they are all nights in this year). The prose is lyrical and the illustrations eerie.
Delightfully scary and a just right read for this time of year. A word or caution, if you scare easily do not read late at night or when you are alone.
A captivating collection of film noir style short stories that are fun and interesting to read. Looking forward to more Vince Font storytelling and Jane Font's painted illustrations.
