When Ardenia Galloway turns eighteen, like all others her age she is sent off on a train to Camp Clandestine. She is told she will be taught how to become an essential cog in her society, working for the Government, and the famous but faceless Dictator.
Nia was raised to do three things: work hard, follow orders, and stay silent. But as her time at the camps unfolds, she begins to realise that maybe the Government have a more sinister hold on the youth of her generation - and their free-will - than they would care to admit.
Nia realises she must try to hide from the watchful eyes that follow her every move, and make her escape from Camp Clandestine, before her ability to stand up for what she believes in is diminished entirely, forever.
