I found this story through an Instagram ad I checked it out it only gave me I believe like 2 chapters not bad, I was intrigued by what was happening so I'm like let me find it I want to read the rest. I found it on Wattpad and I thought it would be the whole story luckily the author said I was just in the middle and said where to find the rest so I immediately came to Kindle and bought it because I had to know what was happening I mean the love between Jake and Emily had me swooning, the way he protects her and lover her when she thought she couldn't have anything like that in her life like it was so amazing! Let me just say I started it like 2 days ago and because I had a day off yesterday and today I stayed up reading, ill have regrets tomorrow but this book was definitely worth it!!
The book was okay but it didn't grip me like I was hoping it would. The book had good storylines to it but I feel like they wasn't deep and developed enough. I feel like Emily and Jake fell in love within like three chapters and it was too rushed and they haven't formed a proper connection yet. There was quite alot of spelling mistakes aswell and the other two books seem interesting but I don't think I will be reading them.
So as I was reading through Emily and Jakes story I felt as though I had read it before, just snippets jumping it thinking I know where this going. Then I'd turn the page and BAM! A curve ball would be thrown in your face. I have been hooked on this after finding this story on another platform and thought I need to read it properly, in so glad I carried on to the end. Bring on book 2 in the series ❤️
The nostalgia is real with this one! I remember reading all night on wattpad under my blankets, and it brings back such happy memories. So happy it was finally published in paperback for me to enjoy all over again
