This is the 3rd book I've read written by Autumn Summers; she has done a great job at writing a good short story; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the characters.

This book gives the back story to the starting of the Savage Saints MC and why the Wicked Sinner MC hates them and is trying to take them out. Tank is back from the war in “NAM”, and feeling alone, angry and scared. He is also dealing with PTSD, he is afraid ,because of the Nations anger over the Vietnam War. He is so lost. Rose is afraid of the local MC,which her brother is a member of. When Tank comes home, she tries to get into The Wicked Saints, because it is somewhere he can have a place to stay and make some money, didn’t work out to well. She is Tanks ex-fiancée, with whom he stopped writing to from over there, and is basically the one person in their hometown who cares about and for him. Their feelings are still there but both are afraid to to act on them, because they don’t want to hurt each other. When Tanks Army buddies start to come home, they decide to band together and form the Savage Saints MC, as a way for other Vet’s to have a place to be theirselves and to fit in. Rose isn’t so sure about this, but because it is making Tank happy she goes along and helps out. This is Tanks way of fitting into society and by helping his fellow Vets,Rose gives them the feeling of home and family.
This person can not a real writer. No commas where they should be, sentences don't make sense because the grammar is so bad, wrong words, missing words, poor vocabulary and no knowledge of even the basic rules of writing was shown from the very first sentence.
The person who wrote this needs to be told she doesn't put the word 'Had' into almost every single sentence. For example, 'we had all met during our freshman year'. It's wrong grammatically, and is superfluous, to use the word 'had' in the sentence when the entire thing is already written in the past tense.
Awful to read. Unprofessional and basic just don't come close to describing this. I hate to be so blunt but this is a pile of rubbish. I just don't undertstand how it has no low star reviews. Unless they are paid for, or readers genuinely don't care about quality.
Given the amount of badly written books there are flooding Amazon, like the truly badly written book by Sam crescent and Nicole Snow I just finished, the education system really must need help, with the absolute abd complete rubbish these so called authors are publishing and worse, that are receiving good reviews. It's turning me off reading the romance genre.

This is the origin story for the Savage Saints MC and it is wonderful to learn the history of the club. A fairly quick read that flows well and takes less than an hour to read
Tank has just returned from his military service in Vietnam and like many who served there he is having problems readjusting to life as a civilian many that he went to school with have moved on with their lives and he has nothing in common with them the only person he connects with is Rose she was his old high school sweetheart and she actually thought he was dead He doesn't want to load her with his problems though so he is trying to keep away from her She thinks she has the solution and introduces him to her brothers MC but that doesn't work he doesn't believe in their values and actually punches their president When his army brothers roll into town they decide to form their own MC with the values that they have fought for. Can Rose and tank have a future You will have to read to see
This book feels like it should have been the first book in the Savage Saints MC Club. Tank has come home from Nam but he's not the same person who left to join the military. He gets together with his old buds from school. But he can tell that they have moved on. Not a one of them offered him a place to stay. He heads over to the bar in town and there he finds Rose his ex fiance. She invites him to stay with her but he turns her down. Tank and his old army buddies start a MC club called Savage Saints. They were 100 members strong and the club was doing great. Tank wants Rose back in his life. He takes her to the club and talks her into being the club Mom. He also does something else that brings their relationship full circle. I loved how this story ended. Perfect ending. Amazing start to the Savage Saints MC. Tank is all about how the Savage Saints were formed and the core values they wanted to always stand for. Tank is a short quick read but is packed full of the values that MC life is supposed to be a family and brotherhood. I highly recommend this book to anyone but especially to anyone who has read any of the books about the Savage Saints. Autumn Summers is a great story teller and she did a good job with Tank. I am truly glad to see where the Savage Saints started and how it was formed. You will need to read Tank in order to find out exactly what I mean. Enjoy reading Tank.

This is the first book in the series I have read, but I did not seem to miss anything. It did take me a moment to place the time of the story.
Tank is coming back from a war not everyone was happy we fought, he is a changed man and notices even his closest friend are standing back. As he works to find his place, he is determined it to be what he wants. Rose is the women Tank loved, but when he went on his last tour he stopped contact with her. Now he is back, so are the same feelings Rose had for him.
This was a sweet story of honor, love and promise. I am looking forward to the next book in there series.

3.5 Stars First things first; I really like the cover of this book! Tank is the ninth book in the ‘’savage saints MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Tank exits the military, he is lost. After getting in with the wrong crowd, can he turn his life around? The chemistry between Tank and Rose is clear to see and I liked them together. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
Another quick, fun read from Autumn Summers. Tank and Rose were high school loves who are pulled apart when he’s drafted and sent to Vietnam. Did I mention this book takes place far in the past? Well it does. When Tank gets out of the service, he’s disillusioned looking to find a place where he can belong. Luckily for us after a little sidetracking he joins up with his former brother’s in arms and they decide to form their own MC club and I’m looking forward to future stories about the Savage Saints MC.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Tank and Rose were high school sweethearts who were separated when Tank gets drafted. When he gets back home, nothing is the same. With the love of Rose and some good friends, Tank picks up the pieces of his life. The Savage Saints MC is formed. Tank has a purpose helping other vets and starts to work thru his demons. This is a feel good story that fully encompasses what a MC family should be. I really enjoyed reading Tank and look forward to the next book by Autumn

Tank, Just out of the army and at a loose end goes back to his home town and sees Rose. Eventually he and a group of his army friends start a MC gang with the right ethics. I liked this story. It was relaxed and the action had a reason through not violent. There was some romance and a small amount of steam between Rose and Tank, while they worked out what they were to each other. It was a great story, well written and extremely likeable characters you couldnt help but push for. Also Great to see the start of the Savage Saints MC.

Ok this is very short read and it follows along with the Savage Saints MC. It may be a short story but it fills the pages with a story that you can tell needed to be told! It will grab you and wallop you right in the heart! Autumn does a remarkable job telling about the characters and the life of each of the brothers. It has to be said that even being short you get to know these characters intimately and what drives them. This will grab you. The world building is superb. Grab it while you can you will not be sorry that you did! Get ready for Rose and Tanks story! It is one heck of a ride!

A brief look at returning Vietnam vets and the horrors they lived through and the horrific tragedy they faced returning to a world that held them responsible for a war they didn’t want! The anguish they suffer as they try to survive and conquer their demons while trying to make the world a better and safer place for others. I enjoyed Tank’s path to a new and better place in life! A brief glimpse at the pain, tragedy and horrors from PTSD that our returning vets face daily in their lives, as Tank creates a safe haven, even if a MC might not be exactly legit. Giving them a clubhouse a safe place and a brotherhood offers them safety and understanding! Excellent plot!
Tank is back from his tour in the military and finding it hard to make adjustments as a civilian. He runs into Rose his sweetheart who he stopped writing in an attempt to get her to move on with her life but seeing her only brings their feelings back. When he has no place to go it is Rose that makes suggestions for him. Will they get back what they had before he entered into the military? This touching story will have your heart going out to Tank and Rose hoping that they make it to a happily ever after.

This is the first book I've read from this author. Back in those days of Vietnam were not good ones for soldiers returning. Being in the Army back during that time, but not in country, I saw how they were treated when they came back and how messed up in the head and missing limbs. So when you when this story this is the vibe I get. When things don't work out with the place (biker club) Tank is staying at, he leaves and goes back to Rose. But when his old military buddies show up, and new club is formed. HEA.
I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of this book via Booksprout. Unlike the other stories I’ve read in this series, this is the origin story for the Savage Saints. The story started out like stories I’ve known from old soldier—the return from Vietnam and trying to reintegrate into society. It also encompasses the surprises and connections that reintegration brings about. It’s a short story, so there isn’t a lot of darkness to it as one might think. I think stories about the older members and how they get along and fall in love are a nice touch to this series! I look forward to the next story.
A vet has nowhere to go when he comes home... Sad truth about many vets, after serving their country they find themselves without prospects & often homeless. This vet wasn't going to roll over a play dead, he could still kick ass. He got a break & started an MC club. Returning army buddies join him & they had a strict code, unlike the cruel & disrespectful criminal members of most motorcycle clubs. Could these wounded souls find peace & value once more? A well written page turner that was sexy & healing. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
Tank has just returned home from "Nam. He finds he doesn't really fir in with his old friends and they all look at him differently. When he runs into Rose, the girl he left behind, she's mad but he's still the only love she's ever known. She points him in the direction of a MC but after he finds out what they are really about, he bails. Will Tank find his place in the world? Will Rose be a part of it? This is a good book and fast afternoon read.

Rose tried to move past the love of her life ghosting her after he left to serve their country but is is hard, the bar she works in brings in a rough crowd. Tank walks into a bar and is blindsided by the past. He does not want Rose in his life because of the demons he harbors from the war the blood the pain the loss. Rose is the only one he can lean on though and before you know it.....

UUUGH! another short story - I should really pay more attention to the details of the books before I get excited and download. This honestly, was horrible. I didn't like this one bit. There was no plot, no romance, no climax, no sex - nothing really and what was given didn't make sense
Literally one page a woman walks in and Gunnar freaks out saying she's bad news and needs to go then the very next page is Tank throwing a ball with his son years later. Like shit was given in this book that was put there just because. This whole short story was just a bunch of fluff.

The birth of the Savage Saints MC happens right here in these pages. During this time you’ll see the redemption of men coming home from war, the love of a good woman and the start of something beautiful. This wasn’t at all what I expected when I picked up this book. Not my favorite time period and not a fan of Vietnam time, in general. HOWEVER, this was well done and I walked away a fan.

This story is one fine MC story. Sounds like the first in a series of members of the Savage Saints MC. How it was started and who the starting members are. Overall a fine MC romance. It is not very long but still it managed to deliver the story very well. So fine four stars go to this story and I hope to read more about these guys and their stories.

This book is the story of the beginning of the Savage Saints MC. Tank was discharged from the war in Vietnam. He was unwelcome home, even by his high school friends. I come from that Era and found this short story very interesting. It is the first of what seems to be a good series. The main interest of the MC is accepting members that are not welcome elsewhere. Well written. Well told. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
