"Primrose's Curse" is written by little author, Kiara Shankar and her father Vinay Shankar. This book is full of adventure. When you read the book it will take you into your childhood. Really amazing story.
It is a Fairytale of twelve years Audacious Girl, Primrose Fernetise. After her mother died she lived with her brother and her father. Father too got paralysis so the total responsibilities of the family was take out by Primrose and her brother. Both are working hard to earn money for survival.
One day she comes to know one magical nectar can heals her father illness, So she starts her journey through the deep forest. While she was in the woods, she saw some woodland animals they spoke like human. They came to her offering some stuffs to eat. She was excited to see them and they told Primrose that she is the chosen one who was destined to vanquish the evil queen Evelyn Velecrona and break the curse she has casted on humanity. They needed primrose's help to save their forest from evil queen.
Their expedition start to the dark island of the queen, Helenue, one of Mystopical Islands. How would they defeat the Evelyn?.. How Primrose would cure his father? She got success or not? Just grab the book and read.
Author imagination is worthy of appreciation She is going to be a fantastic writing career in the future. My best wishes are with you. Keep engaging your valuable readers the way you do. This is the best fiction book for children and teenagers this book teachers the readers the true friendship courage and moral values of life.
This story is so much inspiring and is full of imagination it's a lovely story the author has done an amazing world in portraying the magical world of the girl prem rose and her group of woodland animals.
The protagonist that we have in this book is a beautiful audacious 12 year old girl named, Primrose Fernetise . She along with her group of woodland animals read some divine mystical abilities set out on an adventurous mission on a Murky Island on the dreary parts of Mystopical .
The mission was to to breaking The curse that was put by Queen Evelyn Velecrona on humanity. But would she succeed in her mission?? will they be able in bringing down the dreadfull queen ?? Will everything be as easy as the planned it to be?? What hurdles will they face throughout the journey?? What will be the consequences of this daring by these innocent animals and the girl ??
What goes on throughout the story , do read the book , its a much adorable story and an outstanding work by the author .
It's a very short read . I completed this book in just one go .I loved the cover of this book . And rven though it's a children's book , yet the people of any generation can enjoy it . The book primrose's cruse, I had a very tight schedule which did not allow me to start it those days. Now that I have finished reading the book, it found it very interesting. It truly depicts modern day reality This story begins with the youngest protagonist named Primrose tweleve year old kid and born and raisedup in a village with her smallest family she missed her mother at her childhood. She conveys multiple like the happiness for small things, materlistic joys, kindness and over the beautiful message.
There is a more joy in giving for parents its a sweetest story which is an ideal read for kids but could be equally enjoyed by the adults After her dad's stoke rose needs for extra income she goes for a work to earn income and she starts to travel to pluck flowers in there rose will met animals and had chitchat like her The way author kiara have portrayed her emotions in such a genuine and encouraging way has totally impressed me I have suggested this book to many of my friends and family.
My mother is very excited to read the book after I gave her my feedback on it. Kiara's imagination work is worthy of appreciation.

A children's book always proves best to rejuvenate and refresh our mind and so did this beautiful and educating book.
The story revolves around our sweet protagonist Primrose a 12 years old sweet girl without mother who lives in a small village and is on a journey to find the cure of her father's illness. On the way she met some woodland animals who needed her help to free their land from the curse of an evil queen. What will happen throughout her journey?
After reading a children fantasy book after soo long made my day. It's a small book and can be done in one sitting. Children's book never disappoint me nor did this book. The illustrations adds on to the beauty of the book. The colourful portrayal was so relaxing and refreshing and an instant source of happiness. Book along with being educational helps increase the imagination ability of children as well as adults. The story also imparts moral values which is like cherry on the cake.
Going through such a wonderful book was indeed worth the time and a huge applause to the author for such a great book which is not only meant for children but also for adults to enjoy. Loved it!!

The story mostly revolves around a 12 year old girl named Primrose, who's set on a journey to find the cure for her father's illness. Along the way she meets the woodland animals who needs her help to free their land from the curse of an evil queen. To know more about primrose's journey do read this book. The story itself was amazing and the crisp narration made it all the more engaging. The book is filled with colorful illustrations that perfectly complement the narrative thus achieving its goal of both educating and entertaining the young readers.
I've read a children's book after months. The experience was quite refreshing and rejuvenating. This fantasy children's book is short and can be completed in a single sitting. Language is simple but the author introduces new words, phrases cleverly in the narrations that a child can learn while reading. The icing on the cake is the beautiful illustrations throughout the book that a child will surely love. Sweet characters, stories with happy endings are always perfect. It is easy to read and exciting. Although, it can be read and enjoyed by any age group, I'll definitely recommend this for a young reader around 7-10 years.

Such a delight to read word to word with a great idealism and message to convey, lots of optimism with useful guidelines of path to be chosen. Such huge information compressed and presented in a book at its best format.

Primrose's curse: A fairytale of an audacious girl by Kiara Shankar and Vinay Shankar
First of all, I would like to congratulate the young girl for writing such a wonderful story. Her experience in watching and reading has made her write this fairy tale as I could clearly depict her grasping power over flipping the pages. So the protagonist of this story is Primrose, a twelve-year-old kid. Her family has a poor background, she has a brother and a sick father. In order to get rid of his ailment, she strides to the tropical forest to procure some therapeutic plants. On reaching that place, something weird occurs as she gawks the animals speaking. So it's such a beautiful fairytale that will allow the children to get a new experience. They try to seek her favor in order to make the world a better place and to get rid of the evil powers. What will happen next? Will primrose and animals fight against the odd?

• The narration is crisp and clear.
• The young author has taken a bold attempt to unleash her imagination with this story.
• This is an interesting short read, illustrated with beautiful pictures.

You do not have to be a child to relive that innocent and wonderful part of your life. A children's novel helps you live a child's life vicariously.
This is one such Novel, that is commendably written by a 11 year old, that lets you in on the adventurous journey of Primrose Fernetis in her her quest to rid her land of evil machinations of the Evil sorceress.
The characters are written such that it seems the author has breathed life in them. The names given to the entities is rather interesting and unique.
The morals and noble values that the story imparts are that hope, sympathy and kindness go a long way and always win over evil.
The plot draws inspiration from classics like Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz. The young author's reinterpretation of these classics is appreciable. Since she is young, there is a lot of space for improvement and I'm sure she'll turn into a prolific author with age.

This is a very short and sweet story. The best part is this sweet story was imagined by a 12 year old girl. I'm near 20 and still scrolling Instagram 🙈 A 12 year old girl is writing sweet fairytale.

Primrose Curse: This fairy tale is written by young adolescent girl Kiara Shankar, studying in one of the schools in California, USA. She depicts the story of 12-year old girl Primrose, who comes from a poor family struggling for the livelihood with elder brother and father. Story begins with Primrose’s situation of mother being lost at very early age and father under going health issues. I personally liked here, Kiara’s narration on how daughter takes care of her father bringing the positive note of hope to father and getting better and courage of primrose going alone into a huge forest. A doubting thought on talking animals, reason behind Primrose name, curiosity and story becomes even more interesting during the journey of Primrose and animal characters when they get along to protect the human kind from evil queen. Narration of the journey in reaching evil land, each animals emotion, while sailing- experiences of characters, inquisitiveness is very good. Primrose and team being successful in destroying the evil queen and at last Primrose getting rid of the curse and joining the family- specially mother being alive and happiness of getting her back was a rebirth and a happy ending altogether, made me personally happy and as a parent got know the different perspectives and creativity of children. When the English version was published, the author Kiara Shankar was eleven years old. I have now quenched my curiosity by reading a published work of a young author and would encourage her through this review.
Primrose Melina Shapa (Primrose's Curse) is a children's fantasy on the lines of young-girl-setting-on-a-mission-to-fight-evil-in-a-world-of-magic. Reminded me of Narnia, though a little less intense and much simpler. I had a few good moments when reading aloud for my young one, who is only one or two-clasics-old in this genre, so quite absorbent of similar stories. Thanks to a few colorful illustrations, my kid's eagerness seemed to lie in seeing the pictures of the evil queen!
The Kannada translation is quite good for another first-time writer Chandana Venkatesh though there are a few spelling mistakes. I did enjoy reading about the several traditional South Indian vegetarian delicacies mentioned in the context of lavish lunches. Those accustomed to Jaataka tales or Karadi tales, especially young kannada readers, can definitely consider this short read.

The story has a moral to help young children with their life skills. In this case, the children who read it and follow what Primrose did in the book, will always have special friends in their lives. A fabulous lesson for young children to learn at an early age to take them through to adulthood. I appreciate books that not only entertain children, but help parents, grandparents and teachers teach important life lessons. This story is about a young girl Primrose Fernetise and her journey to make the land free from evil.
Credit to the author, at such a young age she wrote this book with the help of her father. What a great way to help children understand the impact they have on the people around them.
Overall - an easy read with fun and engaging illustrations. The story itself is about learning to share and balance time and not leaving people out. It's done in a sweet way, not a preachy one at all, and I was impressed!

The young author has managed to use all of her creativity & imaginations in sutting together this beautiful children's book, fairy tale. The morals &noble values that the story imparts are that hope, sympathy & kindness go a long way always win over evil. Since she is young, there is a lot of space for improvement and I'am sure she'll turn into a prolific author with age you don't have to be child to enjoy this....

"Primrose's Curse - A Fairytale of an Audacious Girl" is written by little author, Kiara Shankar and co-authored by her father Vinay Shankar. It's tale of adventures and expedition that set you out to journey into own childhood. It is a journey of a girl named Primrose, from home caring girl to power possessed vanquisher of evil sorceress to protect all lives on planet.
Primrose is poor hardworking girl dwelling near Amiablevue town. While maintaining home, She was helping her father and brother in earning for their survival. After her mother's demice, her father too got paralysis causes him to be bed ridden to be served by family. Primrose is a kind and caring daughter, she wanted to cure his father by bringing nectar of divine flower of forest, so she sets out for journey.
In deep forest, she meets woodland animals who talk human language as they are possessing mystical powers. They befriend Primrose and explain that she is destined to complete a mission to save humanity and animals from the curse of evil queen Evelyn Velecrona. Then their expedition start to the dark island of the queen, Helenue, one of Mystopical Islands. How would they defeat the Evelyn and how Primrose would cure his father, all are in book to read.
Its really appreciable that such an young author has percepted this beautiful story and accurately penned down whole into a book. I admire the efforts to make this book a beautiful read by including interesting characters, smooth narration and beautiful illustrations to give visual insights.

This is a fairy tale for children but it can be read by elders also. This was an interesting read. The story is about a twelve years old audacious girl who was destined to be the one, to fight for a cause for humanity. The name of the girl is Primrose Fernetise. One fine day , she made it to the woods to get some magical nectar which can heal her ill father. As she has already lost her mother, she wasn't ready to lose her father. While she was in the woods, some woodland animals came to her offering some stuffs to eat. She was excited to see them and they told Primrose that she is the chosen one who was destined to vanquish the evil queen Evelyn Velecrona and break the curse she has casted on humanity.
So the little girl goes on a mission with her woodland friends to Hellevue, a murky island on the dreary part of Mystopical.
Will she be able to fight for the humanity? How will all this happen ? Who'll win, Primrose or Evelyn? To know the full story , grab the book and read.
I really liked the storyline line of the book. It was interesting and short read. The book is written by father-daughter duo. I must appreciate the creativeness and thught process of the little girl.
I would recommend this book to everyone.

Primrose's curse story is written by a 10 years old girl kiara Shankar and co author is her father vinay shankar.
First of all I congratulate the young girl talent and her creativity and narration of this stories is very nice. Its a fairy-tale story of a audacious girl her name is primrose.
Primrose lived with her older brother and her father in a small wooden cottage in a deserted forest. After the loss of her mother whole family responsibilities up to her and her brother. because primrose father suffered by a sick for a long time because his two legs are paralysed.
One fine day Primrose promised to her father she going to get a nectar of a Devine flower from forest to procure his legs.
Her magical journey is started this point she met a talking woodland animals in that forest and she got surprised first .then they become friends to her.
They need primrose's help to defeat a evil Queen to save their forest.
Will she able to help the animals?
Will primrose's father sick got cured?
Just read the book it's a unique fairytale book.
The narration and characterization of he story is perfect.
The language of the book is lucid.

We all need courage to overcome tackles. Here primrose protagonist of this story taking care of her family because of her father's illness. Yes after loss of her mother primrose's father got suffered by sick and his legs were paralyzed. So primrose and her brother worked hard to take care of their family. One fine day she came to know that nectar helps to cure her Father's illness. So she started her journey towards forest. In that forest she saw some woodland animals that was magical feel for her. They needed primrose's help to save their forest from evil queen.
Will primrose save the forest from evil queen or she continue her journey towards nectar? To know more about read the story.
